@@keefymckeefface8330 You just reduced an entire country comprised of people - with history and culture going back to before the arrival of Indo-Europeans - to a single conflict that lasted three months. That seems unfair and even undermines the point you're trying to make. That said, the Laplands War is a topic I'm surprised Mark Felton hasn't covered. The Finns want a way out of the war and the Soviets give them an ultimatum - expel the Germans stationed in the country. The Germans resist and thus the Finns and the Germans, just prior allies, fight in the far North of the country.
There's a sign that German soldiers left behind - a pretty striking image - that says "In Thanks for NOT Demonstrating Brotherhood in Arms!" A very naïve but understandable sentiment. Funny thing, the Laplands War actually lasted longer than the Winter War that's become such a meme. Eventually, all of Germany's European allies had to bend the knee and change sides. People forget this.

It sounds like there is no Episode 6 right now. Dr. Felton, this well researched series offers a great opportunity to learn about the inherent evil capabilities of humankind. In addition, it has helped me understand the resurgence of "neo-Nazi" sentiments in much of the world, as politicians, industrialists and even religionists promote division, hatred and self interests over universal justice. Thank you for preserving the often overlooked or inconvenient stories of human history.

These Nazi Hunters need to look into a new profession. To think a man at 104yrs old is jet setting, around the globe to elude capture is well beyond wishful thinking.

I enjoy this series but Heim would be 106 in 2020. So the chance of him still being alive are not good.

Mr Felton, you ended on a bit of an anti climax. What is the current status of the 1.7 million pounds in the German bank account? And what will happen if it not ever claimed in the next few decades?

I think the unclaimed money strongly suggests he did die as described. Otherwise his son would have produced his body when he did actually die subsequently....assuming as is almost certain he is now dead.
