First "audio book" I've ever listened too. I'm very impressed. Having trouble with declining eye sight, (I'm 85), I think I might start using audiobooks. Thank you, Mr. Felton.

As a lifelong reader and a history buff, I used to say I’d never listen to audiobooks. I liked my own pace and have my own voices that sit well in my head as I read. But after listening to a couple of books out of curiosity, I am a changed person. I absolutely love listening to an audiobook well read by a pro, an actor and voice actor/narrator. They also work like a charm as ‘adult bedtime stories,’ books I know well but still love the audible rereads. Treat yourself, friend, and enjoy them.

You will LOVE audiobooks. I have been listening to them for years. I drove cost to cost across the USA a trip over 10,000 miles and listened to audiobooks the entire way. I still listen to them especially as a sleep aid. I have an audio library on audible of over 2,000 books, several hundred from iTunes, and over a hundred on Chips. I have ben listening since I became disabled in 2005 and could not read heavy printed books. I have returned less than 200 books in total so I can say it is most definitely worth acquiring audiobooks! ENJOY!

I worked at Bell Aerospace in 1983. There were quite a few old timers there. They talked about the arrogant German scientists that would walk around in their white lab coats. Many of them had their secretaries from Germany with them. The union at Bell was a rough crowd and they would not get out of the way when the German scientists came their way. Imagine how many of the US guys had fought against them.

I remember stumbling across this channel nearly six years ago, somewhere in November 1939. I of course went back and watched all I missed, and haven’t missed any of the episodes since. Guys, this has been a tremendous project and undeniable treasure for humanity. Thank you Indy for all your hard work and attention to details. Thank you Spartacus for your bravery covering what perhaps is the uncoverable. Thank you Astrid for the tremendous work. And you Anna, for brightening up the mood with the Homefront and supporting Spies and Ties. And thank you, all the rest for making this happen and concluding as well. It’s been amazing to watch it all, sometimes with trepidation (how else can you approach a War on Humanity episode which just came up?), but mostly with anticipation. My family history is very much tied to everything that was covered so a lot of contemplation took place through the years, but it has rewarding. Thank you. Thank you. Thanks you.

A small correction here, nitpicking a bit here, perhaps: The Vaterländische Front was not a paramilitary organisation. It was the political organisation, or unity party, if you will, the Austrian fascists created after fully establishing their regime in 1934. The Heimwehr, or Home Guard, were paramilitary fascist units in the 1920's and 1930's, and to a degree served the same purpose as the SA did in Germany. They were instrumental in putting down the uprising of Austrian Social Democrats in February 1934, who had decided to finally resist the cold and slow coup d'etat the Austrian fascists had been carrying out since March 1934. (To be precise: It was only parts of the Austrian Social Democrats and their paramilitary organization Schutzbund who participated in the belated uprising.)

In reality they got away with most of their crimes, and in addition they got to keep the land they gained from Austria in WW1, bit of a cheek. During the Fascist italy period Mussolini had digs taking place in Albania for Roman artifacts and structures and if they came across finds from other periods of Albanian, Greek or other European history they had orders to bury it again.

I am extremely impressed by the depth and detail of your narrative. I knew of "involvement", but not to the extent of your coverage. Especially the Catholic church.
One particular entity was only mentioned briefly and then only in passing... Great Britain and MI5.
I guess when they say the victors write the history it applies to the presenter's nationality also.

A family relative worked in an administrative department for a large German automotive parts company in Mexico City in the 1970s, and they had several stories of German executives who had been through the war. One such story was about an older man who supposedly was known for being very mean, short with his temper, and just a nasty individual to work with. The younger, West German colleagues were constantly having to apologize for his behavior and trying to get the Mexican staff to understand that this man had seen some and perhaps been a part of some rather horrible things. According to my relative, the man was eventually forced to leave the Mexico office and sent back to Germany after he had outbursts with disabled and what would have been seen as "flawed" individuals to the war time Germans. I've always found the story interesting and thinking of who the man might have been and what their role in the war might have been.

Actually Rudel was awarded the Golden Oak Leaves ... I think the only one to have it awarded. He was an ace with 9 kills, but his true fame came as a Stuka pilot destroying 100's of tanks etc.

I recognize that intro music. It's an apple loop that comes with GarageBand (at least that's where i know it from) and I made a rap beat where I sampled the movie full metal jacket and whatnot. I've also heard it on some other ww2 docus on UA-cam. Its weird how we all used it in a war sense.

A fascinating and well researched accounting of the search for justice for the many nazi war criminals and their victims , well done Dr.Felton . We will soon be at the place in history where all of the nazis , war criminals or not will have passed into the dust bin of history . One thing is certain , that no one who is born into this world will escape giving an account of the activities of their life to their creator and receiving their eternal reward or punishment . In the Bible book of Hebrews it says , " It is appointed unto man once to die , but after this the judgement , Hebrews . 9:27 the book of Revelation also tells of the final judgement and sentencing of unrepentant mankind by Jesus Christ at the Great White Throne judgement , Rev. 20 : 11-15 . You may " cheat the hangman , but no one can escape God's final judgement . Hitler , Goering , Himmler , Goebbels , they will all stand before God and get justice .

Amen. I’m so tired of the pro Palestinian/pro HAMAS people posting their venom, and one is here in this comments section. They’re everywhere. I have to remember that I am to love and pray for them. They’re so sure of “Americans and Israelis” being so “surprised” in the end. They’re a runaway train wreck and refuse to see that their end is going to be the “surprise.” I’ve never read anything of Nazis believing in anything at all. Like the pro Palestinian/pro HAMAS people say, ‘it’s going to be interesting.’ But we won’t have to worry about their chosen fate, we won’t be here. God’s hand is on all things. His Divine plan is working as we see and hear. God bless, my friend. See you when we get Home.

I met the offspring of the Argentinian Germans here in the USA in 2016. Mid-20's absolutely beautiful blonde gal, all the hallmarks of pure german lineage, albeit with an Argentinian accent. I asked where she was from, and she said Argentina. I blurted out "but... you're German" when I really shouldn't have - I was thinking it, and couldn't believe that I stated it. She admitted to it, but that's as far as that conversation went.

Like the airplane, the rocket while first pushed to its potential by an American, was quickly taken and expanded by other countries with more limited resources and a greater desire to expand on new ideas in place of traditional military expenditures which could not give them an edge sans the limitless resources needed to win a war using old mainstays.
We put our money in few new ideas until they were proven viable by Britain or in most cases one of the axis powers.
The fleet carrier was beginning to gain ground but the japanese proved it's power in the attack on pearl harbor ironically. That none of the carriers were in the harbor with the fleet was a stroke of fortune that allowed for the victory at midway. An impossible win if they all sat at the bottom of pearl harbor and needed to be salvaged.
The Germans took rocket science and pushed it into a viable weapons system which with the Advent of nuclear bombs, became a suddenly more attractive if exotic expenditure.
We won the war with browning machine guns, M1 Garands and .45 colt automatics. Teo of those are still in wide use the world round and considered by many the most effective weapons in their class. The garand excepted.

I made this comment about Rauff in Dr. Felton's video about Rommel's gold, it is now updated:
Rauff's last home in Chile. It was located in what was back then a middle class enclave in Vitacura, one of the most affluent quarters in Santiago. The house became notorious after his demise. Neighbors of course started to tell stories about the house, most of which were obviously made-up memories spurred by Rauff's post mortem notoriety. Interestingly enough, few of the stories were about the man himself. Although many people knew he lived there, Rauff was seldom seen.
The person who told me this, a retired journalist that used to live nearby, said he remembered clearly that the house seemed to have a second gate, the one facing the street being "a false entrance", in his words. In August, 2023, I asked him if he remembers anything else. He said that the wall of the property was very high, likely white, as many of the neighboring houses were, and that the grass and sidewalk outside Rauff's house looked so immaculate, the place felt uninhabited, and that made him uncomfortable when he walked the dog on that side of the street.
I hope this helps anyone interested. I tried to keep it clean from rumor and speculation.

    ..Tomorrow Belongs To Me..
The Sun on the meadow is summery warm, the stag in the forest runs free, but gathered together to greet the storm, tomorrow belongs to me.
The branch on the linden is leafy and green, the Rhine gives its gold to the sea, but somewhere a glory awaits unseen, tomorrow belongs to me.
A babe in it's cradle is closing his eyes, the blossom embraces the bee, but soon says a whisper arise arise, tomorrow belongs to me.
Now Fatherland Fatherland show us the sign your children been waiting to see, the morning will come when the world will be mine, tomorrow belongs to me.

All my German relatives were here prior to ww2 and there is a large ethnic German population in Argentina. So it’s no surprise that many German Nazi’s fled here to blend in.

fantastic as usual, however I must say when you talk about one of them should show the correct picture of him. You talk about Stangl at one point but the picture shows other men and for people who don't know who is who it can be confusing. It is a matter of editing. I would suggest to modify that
