The multi-currency system in Zimbabwe has made Zimbabweans to be very great mathematicians. You are always working out the exchange rates...you can pay in US dollar and get change in South African rands or Zimbabwean dollar. Both the vendor and customer will know exactly what is due to them without using a calculator.

@@AFRICANTIGRESS BTW AT, have you heard abt the annual "My Beautiful House" Competition in Matobo Hills which is abt 30 mins from Bulawayo (if you're still in the vicinity)?
Every year they have a Competition to celebrate the Ndebele tradition of painting their homes with bright patterns. It was started by Pathisa Nyathi, a local historian at the Amagugu Heritage Center, supported by Ekhaya Gaia, a local NGO. Might be worth a visit to see this year's entrants if you have the time.

Growing up as a young African girl I was ashamed of being African was often reminded of hw Africa was a poor starving continent. When I grew older, I got the chance to travel to the so called 'affluent' nations and finally realized tht the continents of Africa and Asia hve some of the most nutritious diets and natural foods found in abundance thanks to the diverse flora and fauna naturally found in these regions. And we don't starve by the way it's a misconception!!!🤔🤔 Thanks to African Tigress, Claudia Harmony and all other African UA-camrs for telling our African stories.
