@@Flourish_today These videos from Zim are especially important. The world needs to hear the full story. Western media has given the impression that Mugabe confiscated land from their rightful owners, and whites were badly mistreated for no reason. Also, propaganda has been used o justify the sanctions placed on Zimbabwe. These people need to know that we are fully aware of their past, present and future. Our children need to know also. It is not to dwell on the past, but so that our future leaders know who these people are behind their smiles and words. We must keep going forward, but with caution and awareness because we know how our historical enemies work.

Future beckons, that’s the way to go, you can’t undo the past. Use it as points of reference and avoid the same mistakes. Right now the same mistake is being allowed to happen. The Chinese are being given an open Cheque and being allowed to destroy the environment for a Song. Soon African children won’t have productive land to inherit and they are not welcome to settle and naturalise as Chinese in China 🇨🇳. It’s time Africans wake up. Maya l love how you listen to people you interview, you have a good listening skill and you gonna be a moving African history book for real. People really managed to put it out there how hard it was to be a black Zimbabwean before Independence. I hope those who thinks it was better than current situation will learn something. Colonial era was really bad guys. Access to all goodies was very difficult for black people namely, high school education, access to good schools, access to prestigious sporting activities, access to department stores like former Miekles stores and access to bottled beer to name a few. Mugabe actually changed all that despite all what we see today because of corruption.

In Zambia, Lusaka, the Equivalent of MAKOKOBA is the famous KABWATA. ALL Cities in Zambia have such places. Next, Up to now, unfortunately, all helpers, whether big or small, assisting a family in landscaping, and gardening are referred to as "GARDEN BOY". Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Malawi share a similar history, especially between 1953 and 1963 (10 years of the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland) - Zambia being Northern Rhodesia, Zimbabwe being Southern Rhodesia and Malawi being Nyasaland then before their respective Independence. In Rwanda we had the 94 genocide. We could have chosen to sit and cry and look at all the dead bodies on the streets and keep Blaming the colonialism. But what did we do?we cleaned up the streets and rebuilt our country. We have not forgotten where we came from no! However, we used the past to make our country better.

    Greta video again. very informative.
As for the name of that town they need to change it ASAP.
These are the psychological things Africans need to rid ourselves of.
They need to choose a better name for that town.
when you name things you give them powers. that Old Tamahu man still have power over that town and it's people. Every time you say the name of that town you're basically telling people to stay in their place. This is one thing Tamahus understand, they understand psychological warfare. names, colours and things effect people's minds. That's why they place all those statues of their leaders all over Africa and change African name to their names.

    He’s only scratching the surface.
Matebeleland History was/is tempered with by the government and the Whites before.
Bulawayo is called the City of Kings & Queens…that say a lot on its own
Its not only the Whites who caused displacements but some of it came from our fellow “Zimbabweans”… 1982 - 1987… that was after Independence…
Suppression of that History is still available today.

Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo is the man with the tittle Father Zimbabwe even if yu Google Father Zimbabwe you always get Joshua Nkomo bcoz he's the one who dismantled Federation & his army freed Zimbabwe. Mugabe only hijacked the struggle bcoz the British rigged the 1980 elections in his favour bcoz Nkomo was too close to the soviet Union while Mugabe was a close to the British he evn visited Britain in 1980 & during the war Nkomo's army Zipra caused a lot of havoc to the Rhodesians. Mugabe committed a genocide (heinous evil crime known to mankind) similar to the Rwanda genocide & that eliminates him completely frm being a pan Africanist.

Thanks for sharing brother. This are the history lessons that's not taught in African and the diasporan black schools that needs to be included in the curriculum.
The undignified British rule in Zimbabwe that Queen Elizabeth presided over.
Families separated into shanty towns and reduced father figures to nothing but ordinary workers in their own country. A similar pattern occurring in all poor black communities such as the ghetto in the U.S, Brazil, Australia etc.
This is why Robert Mugabe fought a gorilla Warfare against the British and liberated his people! That's why he was demonized in mainstream media.
