I used to question things before taking decisions for design related work in a company that I used to work for, one day the senior designer complained to the CEO (who was his relative), instead of having a discussion with me, I was immediately fired on the spot. P.S. The senior designer had almost 12 years of experience in UI/UX design and didn't know jack shit, I checked the company's portfolio and most of the designs were garbage. Also I'm not being emotional and speaking based on feelings, I got validation from a client who saw my design for their project and liked it and preferred my design over the senior designer's design. Some companies are just not worth your time and effort no matter how unfair life is treating you!
Well said! Just because someone has spent a long time doing something doesn't mean they are experienced. Experience doesn't necessarily come with time. I think I should make a video on the same.
@@saptarshipr Yes please, I've seen freshers with really good fundamentals who do great shortly after being hired. They're filled with experience and self learning from multiple platforms and they do projects for fun.

I started with a desktop when I was a kid, back in school :D But yeah, more serious design started on a laptop when I was in college. It was a very basic Compaq laptop.
