- The second Remnant 2 DLC is almost here. "The Forgotten Kingdom" will be available on April 23rd for all platforms. Players will be returning to Yaesha to discover the secrets of Lydusa, fight through new tile sets, unlock a new archetype, and collect a whole new set of loot. Codiak breaks down some of the new gameplay details and shares what to expect when players return.

Hoping that this dlc is more extended then the awakend king dlc, it was fun but way to short
The first remnant was so good, the second unluckily is not even to compare to a dark souls.
After they make the next round of changes that may wind up changing. 12,000 words of changes to the way things currently are, there is a really good chance the game becomes substantially harder post DLC 2. @@iparanoi4l850
Fun Fact: Hunt Showdown is my favorite pvp fps game and i found out that during Hunt Showdown development in the pre alpha build of the game it wasn't a 1st person PvPvE game... But a co-op 3rd person PvE game.... That team that built the pre alpha left Crytek studios and started Gunfire Games

I found a book in the base game that covered the origin of the Eternal Empress. Short version was she was part of a pan expedition from another continent. Got sick and found the immortally tree. There was also a page that looked like a waterharp song, but I never got it to work.
I didn’t realized that there was already a DLC released prior to this one 😮

If you don't already have the first DLC there's a site that I get digital games from (that I'm in no way shape or form associated with) that sells games at a massively reduced price, with the only catch being that you need to use a VPN to change your location when redeeming the code.
It's called CJS CD Keys, and I got the full Remnant 2 ultimate edition for less than £20, which basically mean that I got the full game plus the first DLC, for the price of 2 standalone DLC's that didn't include the actual full game.
They've got so many bargains on there, and I've told all of my destiny clan mates and the guys I play Remnant and CoD with, about it, and we've all saved a lot of money 👍

I am lookin forward to near rings amulets, armors, architype and I hope there is a hard to unlock weapon again. I loved tracking down all the stuff for Anguish. Hope we have another cool thing like that.

Remnant 2's my new favourite game! It jumped forward in my 'to play' list when Halo Infinte's campaign wasn't personally feeling right. Beat my 1st two World Bosses, & Yaesha was the 1st world I rolled in story mode
That mural from the DLC's reveal vid reminds me of the Dead Priest's story (found in the dungeon: Forgotten Fields.) He tells of how the Pan sailed to Yaesha on a fleet of ships, the tree of immortality was found by the Eternal Empress, and the Laemir is seen giving funerary rites. That's just my interpretation of what story that mural's telling
This game's got fantastic narratives, brilliant variety, exciting exploration and frequent boss fights, +, there's a totally viable offline/single-player mode
This means the last DLC will be In N'rud cant wait for that one!
I loved Remnant: From the Ashes and I love Remnant II so more content is always a big win, Yeasha is my favorite setting in the series so fighting through the forest again is going to be so fun plus I’m looking forward to all the new secrets and weapons to uncover and speaking of weapons I believe that assault rifle shown at 5:36 is the regular one you start with but with a new mod attached to it but the rifle looking weapon in the DLC poster is definitely a new one.
This game is fucking great. The support is great. Everything about it... This is how to develop a game.

the flying enemy seems to be from that one duo yaesha boss fight in remnant 1. the wall mural is obviously the pan's arrival in yaesha in a boat after a flood. I want eye of the storm and voice of the tempest back

It’s very reminiscent of the “Eye of the Storm” a rifle from the first game. Loved it back then so it’d be cool to see it come back. Also excited if it’s a new thing. This game rocks!

@youngzay1ftw649 On the official website, the season pass now apparently states it only offers 2 dlcs. The third one was redacted.
Which would be unsurprising. Arc is notoriously known to be money grubbing and loves microtransactions and inexorbitant dlc pricing.

Very dissapointed, its just very little cut content that they used as a dlc. I would have prefered a bigger dlc for 20-25 euros. Basically they are selling a new archetype with this dlc because we have enough trinkets and guns. It seems they have lost their inspiration and ability to create interesting content or mechanics.
I mean...remnant 1 has 5 worlds+ a great boss rush mode and better overall items and builds. Remnant 2 has 3 worlds and too many puzzles, the only advantage are the active skills.
While Remnant 2 is still one of the best games in recent times, it feels super grindy, repetitive and has very little to show for it after playing a few hundread hours, you cant even enter a dungeon without reading a guide or else you get no reward

In my opinion, Yaesha has the best lore our of Remnant 2's worlds, meanehile Losomn has the best story potentual. My only concern for this is it means N'erud will probably be the third DLC and I'm just not interested in that world, maybe they can do something interesting with it in the DLC, but as it is, it's not a particually interesting world.

The LAST thing this game needs is to rehash these BORING environments yet AGAIN. & this new archetype better do SOMETHING defensive or life steal that lets you not have to use Engineer or Challenger CONSTANTLY to not die...Won't be buying till full breakdown of new archetype.
What build and level are you playing on? Solo or co-op?
@@gmradio2436 Solo, I already beat the game, been playing Nightmare mode. There is zero way to survive w/o the bonuses from Challenger or Engineer at all times & both for bosses. It gets very boring, after Ritualist & getting some upgraded weapons with that anomaly currency just haven't picked it up again. The areas are so boring & such a let down from the 1st game. They desperately need to add big new areas like the desert or the swamp or maybe a frozen area would be great. But as it is not as much replay value as the 1st title because you're just doing the same crap over & over. & healer is only good for coop, in fact any healing where you have to stand in place will get you killed-such a massive fail so alchemist & explorer are worthless too. The only way to save this game is an archetype with HEAVY life steal or it's own built in shielding mechanic that can be bolstered with accessories. I also don't like that for any archetype there really seems to be only 1 good choice for your power out of the 3 & most archetypes have heavily redundant abilities like alchemist/healer/explorer...I though this system would be so invigorating for the game but the whole thing has been a let down from what I expected in every category. Even all the relics generally worthless I only use the one that gives you constant regen, the others you'll die before they kick in....I loved the 1st game & this thing has been non stop disappointments.

Sounds like an actual skill issue needing engi or challenger. Coming from someone who has beat the game using gunslinger x hunter

@@gmradio2436 Oooh; mainly I use Tranquil Heart relic, Challenger + either Ritualist or Summoner & 3 damage reducing rings & 1 that also gives you health regen like Fae Shaman ring & either navigator pendant or twisted idol. Switch my weapons frequently so I don't get bored. My loadout is heavily defensive due to: nightmare difficulty.
I'm not as excited as I was for the Awakend King DLC 🫤
