Sir, Thanks. I back tested , found 2022, 2023 & 2024 till April are in very good profits. However, when tested in year 2021, its almost making 90% of capital loss. Please advice

I am looking to start this strategy tomorrow 8 Sept. I just looked at market now to get a sense but it seems premium will not be covered.
Market is at 1964, 1600 PE = 81, 19400 PE = 27.30, 19200 PE = 9,95 for 14 Sept expiry, infact even at 150 pt mark, still it is hardly reaching 70 percent premium, did I misunderstand something?
No it is ok, it is all due to such a low vix
in such cases you can come near by 50 pts that is 19450, 19300 PE to get the balance

As per the VDO, I have build strategy as below with mentioned premium at that time: 18300 CE buy: 123, 18500 CE sell: 40.85, 18300 CE sell: 8.85, 18800 CE buy: 4.6. Call leg total after addition and subtraction as: -78.75 / Lot of call leg. Is this correct? Pl suggest.
No it is wrong you should have built the trade at 150 PT away. the debit is too high,. We need to have balance in what we pay and what we receive. If you are 0-0 or still in profits plz square off or exit.

Sir, if market takes heavy trend, the sold legs on tested side may get into 600-700 points ITM. In such a case exiting them will be very difficult due to liquidity issues on expiry. Kindly advice.

@@IBBMIndia That is a big loss too and you did not mention that in the video at all... You should always cover all 3 possible scenarios in explaining any strategy
When you buy ATM call and then sell 2 calls with a separation of 200 further OTM, the money recd on sale is not 80% of bought value. It is more like 20-30% only. Is something wrong with your explanation or am I making some mistake?
Yes we are receiving approx 80% of premium paid back and buying a deep otm to hedge the additional call sold or put sold.

CCO is not charges it is cumulative margin, it will be released once the position is squared off

I like the strategy, but how about the brokerage. We are buying multiple lots .
Brokerage is not what I can comment. for us it is nothing, If you trade in 2 lots minimum than it wont have a big effect.

Zerodha says exchange doesn't allowed far otm call( means such strike prices which u show in ur strategy)
wrong, zerodha RMS blocks them for there safety

Hi, if avg movement is 500point in a week then we are taking diff of 200 points. Atm buy + 200 pt sell + 200 pt sell n + 200 pt buy. what if avg movement is 300 points or avg movement is 700 points in a week. What's the logic to select strike prices. Thnq for sharing the knowledge.

Sir, If someone buys both CE and PE side then as per the example shown in the video, Call side debit is -57 and put side debit was -45 (you miscalculated it as -35). So total debit (same as Max Loss) = -102. This single point makes the whole strategy ineffective. Am I missing something? Waiting for your feedback please?
CE side debit is only 19 rs not 57. 57 is the total of both

when built this stragy in opstra, it 1:1 only. It is not 1:3 as said in the video. As Gaurav said, if market closes ATM then it is always loss. Only when the market is either side directional, we will get profit. I doubt this strategy. Can you clarify.
