My therapist gave me advice to do mindfullness meditations. And i chose this one first. It really helped me get rid of terrible occasions i've been through in the past. After doing this, i felt calm, and happy. Happy that i could finally feel positivity for a while.

Someone told me to think, "thank you for entering my awareness, may peace be with you," to the thought. Nothing about pushing it away, simply acknowledging it and then letting it leave as it wishes.

I have to inform you that this is one of the best meditation session as you speak to the basic meditative practice without the background music that can be intrusive and is all to common with guided meditation. Thank you.

I’ve been meditating off & on for over 5 years now, and have tried every app there is, alongside multiple guided meditations. I can say this with absolute honesty, this is the only time I was shocked that it’s already been 20 minutes when it ended. I could have sworn it felt like 10. Amazing.

This is crazy. Half way through, idk if I fell asleep or what but it was like my body was completely sunken into the bed, no tension at all. I felt like a fuzzy pressure over me and I felt like I was in a state of sleep but it wasn't sleep, I don't know what it was. I was awake...but not. Amazing.

Hey Michael, I first found your mindful meditations back some 12 years ago, and I had just started in N.A. Narcotics Anonymous, my addiction had brought me to my last rock bottom.
I started positive affirmations to stop the negative talk that was on repeat in my head for years and also the anxiety and shame tape.
I turned my life around 180 degrees and started looking inward, and your anxiety and mindfulness meditations were so supportive. I began my spiritual awakening and now in the present moment, I still use your mantra while meditating 'observe your thoughts with no judgement or opinion '. ❤

I guess I didn't realize the true definition of the term mindfulness. "Being aware of the presant" well I watched this. about an hour later I went to bed. I dreamed of laying in bed tossing and turning thinking about meditation but then I actually woke up. my dreams LITERALLY put me in the presant moment.

My doctor told me to google mindful meditation and yours is the first I've listened to and it had a very soothing and calming effect. Thank you so much for this. I've never tried anything like this before and I've listened to this probably 5 times since last night.

I really like the mindfulness-based guided meditations, and would love others that help bring moment to moment awareness/acceptance of physical sensations, thoughts, emotions, especially difficult ones. Not that there isn't a place for fantasy and visualization types, but practices for grounding in here and now reality is very calming and clarifying. Just my wish list. Thanks yet again, Michael. And it's so kind that you respond to comments, though it isn't expected.

Yes, I'm really interested in the idea of helping people become more accepting of difficult emotions. It's upsetting to see many people telling us we must never feel anger, or if we do, we need to hurry up and release it asap. I've been using EFT (aka Emotional Freedom Technique aka tapping) to help with that and there are other interesting techniques too.

I have recurrent depression and are disabled for that reason, and I am now able to detect at a very early stage when the veil is closing in on me, so that I can take appropriate action to prevent it from staying.
And I have had great help changing other areas of my life as well, thanks to your hypnosis and meditation videos.
    I am forever grateful ❤️
I have even signed up for a study to become a licensed hypnotherapist and EFT therapist starting next month, so that I can pay it forward and help others like you have helped me ❤️

Wow. I just found your channel and will definitely be coming back for more of your videos. I recently graduated from a DBT Skills group and am so grateful to have found this channel to continue the mindfulness aspect which has proven to be so valuable. I really appreciated your specific guidance on allowing ourselves to be fully present in each moment of the breath, which allowed me to realize that I was "skipping through" the awareness of the middle portion of my breath and focused only on the inhale or exhale or "next sensation". Being aware of my breath in its entirety was something new for me today, and I want to thank you for the peace and relaxation and newfound awareness technique I will continue to "exhibit" in future mindfulness and meditation experiences. Your voice is so soothing and your words allow for space and safety in that space. Thank you!❤️💫

I was surprised how hard this was without background music...still shows I have some way to go

That's okay. It's okay if you need the background music. It's funny, I didn't realize that was what was different until you said it. I think I like it better with the music too, although his voice and words are very soothing to me even without music.

Many people misconstrue what, in fact, being mindful is all about. It's not about being peaceful, "releasing" tension, "letting go", or being non-judgemental; rather, it's simply being aware of and embracing any thoughts, sounds, sensations, and feelings at each moment. That's it. The end result of practicing mindfulness will help you achieve those positive effects aforementioned. For instance, one who is aware of the sensations of being distracted is, in fact, not distracted.

Didn't know this would be a challenge for me.... My mind wandered off a few times and only noticed this after a few minutes, and then I'd try to bring my attention to the present and my breath again. Guess I need some practice with this!

+Stefanie van Loon (iamsunyata) I don't know if it will work for you, but when a thought comes up in my mind and I notice it, I say to the thought: Thank you and I love you. And then gently guide my attention to my breath. It helped me a lot because it takes away all the resistance

I found this meditation video when i was 16 years old, freshly dropped out of highschool and searching for my “truth.” I listened to it every day after my family lost our home in a fire. We were living in and out of different motels, eating gas station food for dinner. Just trying to get by. It was a really hard time, but only when I look back on it... this vid got me thru a lot of that, now that i think about it.
    I just turned 25.
Over the last 8 years, I always come back to this same one. I don’t know what it is about it. I have recommended this to homies all over the place, and its just always been with me. I love this meditation and always will have a deeep deep place in my heart.

I love this meditation and listen to it often. It's so relaxing and centres me no matter how far I'm spinning out. I also find it wonderful to fall asleep to BUT I always get woken up at the end. Any chance of doing a mindfulness meditation to go to sleep to, Michael Sealey? I've listened to all your sleep meditations, but this one works best for me. I love all your meditations, thank you so much.

I got up at about 5 this morning and needed a nap at 7. I started this and fell asleep sometime in the first 5 minutes. Woke up at 7 :30 but laid there and felt so peaceful and its weird I just couldn't see anyone's face that I was imagining I had to interact with today but I keep seeing faceless people walking to and from in my head doing tasks like lifting things and walking to and from. I finally got up. I'm walking around and feel so peaceful.

I came across your channel recently Michael and find your voice very soothing perfect to listen to. This mindfulness meditation a great reminder to live in the present moment, not worrying about the past or future. Having experienced bouts of anxiety the past year listening to this and your guided hypotherapy really helps. Sincere tanks for sharing your work with the world.

hey micheal, i want to thank you for doing this. it helps me a lot. I like this one a lot because you are constantly reminding me to let my thoughts drift away and return to the present. i also like that there is no music in this one, just your soothing voice. with the sound of my surroundings its easier for me to stay present.
