- I took a Waymo autonomous taxi to see what it's really like. I also dug into the history and latest news about driverless taxis in San Francisco. The experience is unlike anything else I've ever done, and something you really need to see to believe!

Hey Adam! This was fun, and timely for us, as in our travels to the city, we had contemplated on using this service. My wife and I thought, "Ahh, let's give this technology some time to 'marinate' for a bit," and low and behold, Cruise is no longer! Well, for now, that is. I am sure we will give it a shot one time. I'd always kinda wondered what it was about but never enough to research it. Thank you for going through all that! Sadly I feel like a lot of Americans resonate with their messages so it'll probably keep selling out and the NY compound will just get bigger. It's weird how such a peaceful religious movement has such authoritarian beliefs.

What's the insurance rate on a car with no human driver? Can you override the system and drive yourself? Why Jaguer?
Insurance is less. There are some interesting articles on it. Basically, waymo's are much safer than an average driver. If you try and take over the car will stop and pull over. I assume they got some deal on the Jags. Not sure.

@@AdamDoesNotExist maybe! Waymo has been around for like 10 years now and is still just in SF. The self driving vehicle industry has just slowed down so much…

In Malaysia and others Asian Countries we do have Self- Driven Metro Trains 🚅🚄 which runs & control automatically by system itself without train drivers .

How is a Metro Train and a self driving car Compared? These cars drive with Humans driving and Jay Walking with infinite possibilities as such the autonomous car must adapt and move on. Metro Trains have a dedicated lane interrupted. That a Genius high school student can code the controls.
@@The_Wandering_Warrior1 They're not really comparable imo. I think the better comparison is between autonomous taxis and traditional taxis, or 'Rideshares.'
