Reggie Jackson Not everyone has the time to learn a language. For example the school I go to does not offer Korean as a language option and I already have a lot of homework from them, so I don’t have the time to learn Korean and I know it is the same for many other people. That also applies to people with jobs and families. And it is not a must for them to put English subtitles, but in my opinion it might help the show gain more viewers because more international fans could view it.
솔직히 조쉬처럼 한국과 한국어를 잘 아는 사람한테 ‘부먹도 알아’ 라는 이휘재 박명수의 리액션이 좀 별로네요. 그 말도 그렇지만 저 두 남자의 특유인 삐딱한 웃음과 표정이 더 별로고요 (그래서 평소 행동이 중요....) 예민한 프로불편러라고 하실 수도 있지만 저도 비슷한 상황을 겪어봐서 경험상 하는 말이에요. 일단 조쉬는 한국어 전공이고 쓴지 꽤 됐고 일단 유명세 자체가 잘하는 것이고. 잘 못하는 사람이 부먹 같은 단어를 써서 놀라하는 건 몰라도 이미 잘 하는 사람한테... 저도 비슷하게 해외에 몇십년 살아서 영어가 한국어보다 편한데 거기다 대고 서양인들이 어머 너 그런 단어도 알아? 네이티브 다 됐네~ 이런 말 하면 뭔가 좀 무시하거나 우쭈쭈 하는 느낌이라 기분이 별로다라고요. 심지어 한번은 십대한테 그런 말을 들었는데 웃긴건 제가 그 녀석보다 영어를 더 오래 썼다는 것...그 녀석 태어나기도 전 부터 썼으니...;;;;
Heard from my korean gf that gabbie is under fire from korean social media. Apparantly she told the hosts in the show that Korea should be thankful to Josh for making Korea popular through his ‚Englishmen‘ youtube series...might be true but that was an arrogant statement in my opinion.

무시하거나 우쭈쭈 라기 보다는 감탄. 문화를 이정도로 아는구나 하고 감탄하는게 더 큰듯합니다. 저도 외국에 살아요.
