Very good question. When we buy direct from Zippo, we normally would only buy just one and end up paying the full suggested retail price, yet most Ebay, of these type of Zippo sellers, purchase larger amounts of lighters from Zippo and are usually able to pass the savings of buying in both bulk and at wholesale to their customers while still making a profit. Interesting as well, is that if we buy from the official Zippo Ebay store, they're sometimes cheaper than the Zippo website and do not have to pay shipping on lighters without having to purchase a certain amount. Thank you for commenting.
I do not own one silver zippo. I have a 90’s silver plate but no solid silver. I should of got one when these were cheap because now they are so expensive.
Wow that looks amazing! Love those curves, and it even has the two divots on the side. I wonder if they ever made a copper finish, or if that would tarnish too fast. Or just one that was sort of copper colored.
The 1941 replica is one of my favorite design styles. There are solid copper regular style Zippos. As far as I know Zippo has not made a solid copper 1941 replica.
@@zippolyonsden1623 Oh cool. I just wondered because that guy Matt showed me his pack today. It's called Marlboro blend no. 27, and it has a kinda copper color with a leather texture on the box. And I thought that would make a cool pattern for a zippo!
@@zippolyonsden1623 Yeah I literally just now looked and its 75 bucks at Walmart! It looks so pretty when its new, but my dad says take a look at a penny thats 1 year old or 20 years old to get an idea what it will look like in 20 years.
There isn't that much in silver in that case. So why do they want so much? I thought about buying one when they were 75$ but even then I thought that's dumb your just gonna drop it on concrete and ruin it eventually.
Definitely true that there isn't much silver in the case. Other than the machine work necessary to produce one in solid silver cannot think of why they are now so costly. I purchased this one for half of what Zippo wants for them. Everything precious metal wise went up in price on the Zippo website. Even gold and rose gold plated lighters went up in price an awful lot. I, myself, do not plan on using this particular Zippo nor any of the other solid sterling silver ones I have. Same reason too. Afraid I'd wreck it somehow, or worse lose it somehow.
What a beauty! Can’t beat the body style and class of a 41 replica in sterling. Love your collection. Keep on shining, man. 🤟🔥
Thank you. It really is a great looking lighter. Glad you like the collection. Thank you again😊
@@zippolyonsden1623 You’ve got a great eye; I’m just calling it like I see it. 😘
Thank you very much
Absolutely gorgeous! Definition of class. That price actually isn't prohibitive, I might have to save up and get one!
Yeah, I couldn't pass it up for the price. Almost half of what Zippo is asking for them right now.
Just amazing 💕💓💕 ,,, & sure a nice deal 🤝 , the 41 replica is the best design , nice present 🎁, merry Christmas & happy flames 🤩
Thank you very much. Merry Christmas to you as well.
Very nice. What accent am I hearing in your voice?
Wisconsin midwest accent🙂
Definitely getting one
They are really nice lighters.
I was wondering that about pricing they're cheaper on eBay compared to buying from Zippo direct.

Its too bad they don't have gold plated 1941 inserts, but the brass will look good.
Gold plated would be sweet. I'm still hoping for a 1941 replica rose gold as well.

You can still find them on Ebay brand new from accredited dealers for $150 each. Very much cheaper than what Zippo currently wants for them.
$150 on ebay is normal but $220 for full-size armors
Yup, much cheaper to buy off of Ebay than direct from Zippo themselves. I do it all the time.

The latest solid copper Zippo released earlier this past year has a black insert. Kinda matches the pack of Marlboro you described.
