Will the Stamford Bridge crowd and the return of star names like Cole Palmer and Marc Cucurella be enough to drive Chelsea on to a better result?

i would prefer colwill over tosin as he has more experience playing in the team and i feel the experience is needed in this game, otherwise perfect line up

@@t-sauce2497 I’m taking Neto over Noni anyday although he had a good pre season, I still think Neto has more quality but you could be right starting noni and then bringing Neto on at half time
I think we’ll see gusto getting up the wing a bit more, like against Inter, rather than playing as a wide CB
Cuccerella will probably go into a a more left cb role

I think it'll be lavia and enzo that'll start in midfield. Guiu will start in attack with Nkunku in the 10 position. Sterling will start and I think madueke will start in place for palmer. Maresca will go for the fittest players. We should prepare for a frustrating season guys!! It'll take time to adapt to this erratic tactics

Hoping Caicedo and Lavia drop deep as i have doubts about Fofana/Colwill CBs keeping Haaland quiet, Sanchez in goal means no chance of clean sheet. No Rodri helps, but we won't have majority of the ball and we have mistakes in us playing out from the back. Hoping for good performance but can also see City comfortable 3-1
Hopefully we can keep it under 4. That will be the best we can hope for. Even a goal would be a bonus

Mudryk will play from the start. Mareska prepared him in the game with Inter, he played 70 minutes. And don't judge players by their preseason.

I'm taking no draw for an answer. Many fans said that last year and whnever we faced them, we proved we could have done more...
On Cole Palmer, I just checked his history on Transfermarkt and he didn't actually start the first few games for us since he didn't play pre-season. We all know what he would go on to do after that and my point is that I kinda want to see him being eased into this season just like last. In other words, give Palmer just a few minutes depending on the game for like the first 3-4 games and once Palmer start firing like normal stick him in there for the rest of the season. I'm just worried that Palmer might be a bit of a slow starter, you know?
could be worth resting him mate but i think ide rather see him from the start and maybe subbed off. also he scored in both super cup and community shield (pre season) for city so not sure your looking at the right stats lol 👊

@@JoeyKnightPodcast It's not really about resting him, it's more about getting him up to speed, we've only seen one season of him and he started it slow for us. He did score a lot for city in their preseason, but that was for City the treble winners so I think there was a bit of a difference when he came into our team.
Now I know Cole wasn't "good" yesterday , but we all know why, he played out of position. But this is also what I mean, like he needs to find his groove and it won't be that easy in a new system with a new coach and with completely new players, essentially, since half our team was injured last season.
Don't get me wrong though, in the Euros, I was like "this guy, when he comes on or just plays, he will be a difference maker" to my mates and that he was. So I believe that he will probably be our best player again it's just going to take a few more games before we see it and I for one prefer seeing the entire team performing better and getting the results for us than seeing Cole Palmer get similar stats to last season (granted, I'd in that case demand to get like top 4 and 2 trophies so yea...).
