The problem with their plan is they’ve had no plan it’s just plug and play and hope this turns out well. Yes the young players are nice but they’re not franchise changing players and we don’t have any of those in the system. Even if they said give us 2-3 years I wouldn’t buy it because Arte is still making decisions. This team is my team and that’s not gonna change but the best way to deal with them from a mental standpoint is tune em out check the score here or there but don’t get emotional if they win they win if they lose they lose that’s how I’ve approached this season
If Arte carried about the money, didn't he lose $1B when Ohtani left? If he wants to win, then spend money to add pitching, bench coach, scouting, etc. Its very mixed
He cares about money but he’s also a spiteful prick and he didn’t like it when everyone was excited that he was gonna sell. That’s why the pre and postgame show are inside the stadium now, so people can’t chant “sell the team” from behind the cast.
I understand putting young players in non-pressure spots, with it being a rebuild year, but only if you're also building the farm system. Not trading Ohtani and even Trout last year were all-time franchise crippling decisions. Hicks in the 4 spot is insane in any situation. I've been watching every game since 1990, and this is THE worst owner, team, and approach I've ever seen. It's embarrassing. But... I still watch every game because my loyalty is more than my sense, apparently. Logan O'Hoppe and his future is my only decent excuse.

Yes, Arte is a bad owner. We know that. But the season has started you can make a comment here and there. But this also a young team. Also. She said she couldn’t recognize anyone in this line up. The only two were recent call ups Calhoun and Tucker and they have been playing well. Everyone else has been on this team from the start. I have no idea she is looking at. I would agree with you on the comments from Ken Rosenthal and Steven A. Smith. They are out of line.
After a dozen years, the Angels are no longer in the "build around Mike Trout" era. Not that Mike's career is done, but the Halos are past the point of adding a "missing piece" or two. That fact, by itself, should make Arte a better owner, shouldn't it???? By the way... Ron Washington is nothing more than one of those "Lifer" baseball B.S. artists... he knows what to say (get back to fundamentals, look to tomorrow instead of dwelling on the past... yada yada yada) He's not the worst, but just mediocre.

ANGELS SUCK! They wouldn't even compete in triple A ball. My old softball team would give them a run. Worst team in their history.
