My mom taught me how to crochet over the summer when she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. When I told her I was pregnant a few months later we decided to make a granny square baby blanket together. My mom passed away two weeks ago and continuing to work on the blanket has been really powerful for me so when you say it's not just a sweater (or a blanket).... I FEEL that
So sorry for the loss of your mom and sending you love and strength and I think it’s beautiful you have an extremely beautiful gift to pass on to your baby from you and your mom❤
My grandma also died from pancreatic cancer last year. She was a quilter. I have all of her fabric, and someday (when I have a working sewing machine) I hope to also learn the craft.
When Elyse made that honest comment and cried, I felt joy for her since I can relate from my past. Elyse, you are a funny, beautiful person with a big heart and all your subscribers including myself are blessed to have found you.
Thank you for including the extended cut of the clip where you said you were happy to be alive. I saw that clip when you posted it as as a short/tiktok and it gives me so much hope that I'll reach that point. Your transparency with ypur mental health journey has been incredibly validating and makes me feel less alone. I'm so happy that you managed to catch that moment on camera in real time. Thank you for sharing such a vulnerable moment with us
Made my first one over the December holidays…Loved it a bunch…yet the more I look at it, the more mistakes I notice😭 I am just thinking of all the things I didn’t do to make it right🙈
@@scythelee5513 first sweaters are not meant to be perfect. I’ve knit 50+ sweaters and most of them have at least one mistake. You can learn to fix them, either as you’re knitting or when they’re finished, or learn to live with them because perfection is boring.
@@nfglrygrl thanks for your wise words❤️ I do plan on wearing it out, I just noted down all the things I will improve on the next garment I crochet😁 I absolutely love crocheting, and I know that I have much to learn🙈 but everything I make, will have a special place in my heart even if it is flawed
This was the lovliest video to watch, Elyse. Thank you so much. 😃 I'm recovering from a stroke right now and am crocheting a white and purple granny square cardigan for the first time ever - never made anything for myself to wear (aside from hats and scarves). Good idea on the blocking, I'm going to try that!
..I cannot imagine you.. any place other than living in this world, on this planet, in this moment.. and I get to know you..!💫🤭✨🫶🧗🏻♀️🥰.. I was born a Myers..and a teacher once told me I spelled my name wrong..?!😂❤️
I love the moment of realization when you said, “I’m happy to be alive and mean it!” I actually smiled when you said, “say cheese!” LOL! This video spoke to me in so many ways, thank you for simply being you, so real and authentic! Sending loads of love and well wishes for your family! ❤
So that jumper will mean so much to you, it could be your snowy day jumper, I need a hug jumper, I did that and I can do this jumper... So much meaning. I had a woods jumper as a kid, my mum didn't have a good hood pattern so she made up her own. I wore that jumper till I could no longer fit my head through it. But it was adventure day jumper, see my grandad again before he died jumper. A beautiful video from a beautiful person 😊
You with a whole baby, a channel, all the chores, AND you made a freaking perfect sweater!? What! Mad props to your husband because sis what a blessing having a loving supportive man that allows you the space to not only do cool things but be crying of happiness. All while being responsible for all those big things! Do I make sense? God bless sis 🙏🏻
I've said this so many times... but crocheting or doing anything with your hands can be so healing. I started crocheting when I was 5 and did it on and off growing up. But it wasn't until when I was diagnosed with PTSD and I found so much peace and joy working with my hands. Thank you for being so vulnerable in this video!
I love to knit and have learned that crochet and knitting is a form of mindfulness meditation that has been scientifically proven to have many health benefits! I am so happy for you that you have found healing ❤
I just adore you, Elyse. The moment you said “I love being alive.” I just started crying with you. Such a beautiful moment. Life can be so hard, but what a gift it is. And your determination and persistence are incredibly admirable. If I would have sewn the collar and then didn’t like it (and the bottom), I probably would have left it. I admire your persistence to complete it the way you wanted it. I would have been defeated and your calm approach of persistence is one I will learn from. Keep being you. You’re awesome ♥️
I have been struggling for years with fatigue, and last month I MADE A DRESS! With princess seams and fancy pleating and everything! It was such a huge milestone. All I have been able to do is watching sewing youtube videos for so long, finally I actually had energy to MAKE something!! Maybe your situation is different, but your joy and pride and gratefulness was so relatable. ❤
What a gift you are, your creativity, your authenticity. All the steps you went through with your sweater, and the anxiety both in planning, and the giggle of "I made this"!! I, too, am so glad you're still here. 🥰 💜🧶💜
I love you being alive, too!! Right after you said that, my immediate thought was wondering and hoping that you’d recognize the weight and importance of those 4 words. You certainly did, and I’m so happy I saw this video today! Thanks, Elyse! ❤️
This is my favorite video on the internet. The joy behind this entire project. The realization of pure joy of life. It’s so beautiful and I’m so grateful to get to be alive at the same time as you.
I love seeing people discover crochet and falling in love with it. I was 5 when my aunt gave me a crochet hook and some yarn and taught me to make a granny square. I'm now 63, and I have never stopped crocheting. In 58 years I have made more blankets, sweaters, hats & booties than I can count. I believe crocheters are the most creative and kindest people you could ever meet. Working with your hands is good for the soul. It can center your mind just like doing yoga or meditation. You did a wonderful job on the sweater. I hope crocheting continues to bring you joy.
Mental health issues have hit my family hard, and I'm scared to admit that burn out has been real. I haven't had energy to do anything that sparks my joy. Seeing you glow and smile through the creativity process reminded me how I loved working on pottery. Learning a new skill and then having free range to create whatever you want is an ethereal feeling. You and this video mean more than words can describe 💟
not me blinking as you take the "picture" of us the viewers, only to have you say "you blinked...that's unfortunate" with a perfect dead pan. 🤣 Your videos always feel like a combo of a warm hug and hanging out with a friend. Thanks for that. 💜
I got so excited when I saw a long video from you!! But then I had to stop the video because I wasn’t in my cozy clothes and I didn’t have my coffee. So now , 10 minutes later I am properly cozy for a dose of Elyse! ❤
Also, yes. I've had MANY breakdowns while froggings crochet. But that's just a part of working without a pattern. It's an iterative process. Looks awesome btw!
You are one of my very favorite content creators. I appreciate your honesty, or maybe just how closely I relate to so many of the brave words you speak out loud unabashedly telling your story. As someone who suffered from PMDD and still struggles with my own ADHD, thank you for showing us a glimpse of your zen in this amazing project! Kudos Elyse!
I don't crochet. I don't even like crochet things... But I've always watched people doing and thought - that person seems like this is way more than crocheting... They seem like they're in a different state... And sure enough, it seems like crochet is a zen meditation as much as making art. I came to see the moment when Elyse says - I love being alive, because it kills me every time I see it and I tear up when she tears up.
The sweater is stunning! You didn't just make a sweater. You designed and created a piece of wearable art. Congratulations!! That's impressive! I loved seeing the process...the retries and adjustments. So real. And your joy moment was beautiful and authentic and a much needed reminder. Thanks for sharing with us.
I have found that you can use Dritz elastic thread to make ribbing a lot more elastic. I sewed it through the back side of the ribbing and did several rows. I found it kept the cuffs from stretching out and staying that way. But regardless, your sweater is darling and so are you!
I was just thinking of this but without the specifics because I've never made a sweater before but I've worn sweaters with little elastics knitted into the, ehem, ribbing.😂
I love the sweater so much... I feel like it could be a sweater dress with some cute 60s style booties. My grandmother passed her crochet talent to me when I was 12. I have proudly practiced crochet for 28 years now and I'm so happy to see someone talking about it and getting such joy from it. Thank you for showing it off!
Am I allowed to say that I'm proud of you? Because I'm so proud of you! For making a wearable (I mean, that's a huge accomplishment!), but also for being real and for being here and for following your creative heart...The sweater is stunning, but best of all, it's from you - you designed it and made it a reality. You done soooo good! ❤❤❤
I understand the crying. Once I released some deeply rooted trauma and the next morning I cried at the hue of purple of a casserole dish I had had for ten years. It was like I could see color for the first time.
use a smaller hook (at least a whole size smaller, maybe 1.5 smaller), attatch your yarn right to the sweater, chain as long as you want the ribbing to be and then sc along that and slip stitch into the next stitch, then back loop onlysingle crochet along it and back to the sweater, slip stitch into the next stitch on the sweater. Using a smaller hook will bring the bottom of the sweater together. love your final outcome though!!
Okay I never considered to use a smaller hook for the ribbing!!!! Why didn’t I think of doing that????? I ended up crocheting it directly onto the sweater just like you described but I used the same size hook so it’s never tight. YOU ARE GENIUS!!!!
Oh my god i cannot believe you actually responded 😶🌫😶🌫 And called me a genius. Holy heck my whole day, hell year has been made. I never thought you'd ever respond! I've been crocheting since i was 13, i'm32 now and still love it. During the pandemic your videos were some of the only things i laughed at, it was such a hard time and your content made it just a little better. So when you picked up crochet i was THERE FOR IT!! I'm so glad i could give you a tip that might be helpful! Thanks for all the smiles over the years, and the smiles yet to come!
YES YES I HAVE. Just recently, actually, AND more than once on the SAME project each time 🤪 I was ready to rip my hair out along with the stitches, lol. BUT! You DID IT! YOU made YOURSELF a frickin sweater! That is TRULY bodacious and you have every right to feel proud of your accomplishment. Well. Done. Very well done, indeed. And btw? I see you, brave young lady. You ROCK. 🤟🏻☺️🫶🏻🧶 xx-Lisa in OH
Okay I would totally wear this if it was a cardigan! It’s the perfect length and looks nice and cozy to just slip on anytime around the house and of course, it’s adorable! It can go with anything…..except the Florida weather I live in! Okay so if I lived in the mountains & need a cardigan that is one of a kind, I’m calling YOU! ❤
I love your sweater. Thank you for sharing the journey of making it. It gives this ADHD girl who has a hodgepodge of half finished crochet projects a bit of hope. You're special, Elyse.
Thank you for being so honest and leaving your vulnerability in. Not editing it out makes you so relatable. I can not explain how much this resonates with me and how much it makes me feel like I'm not alone. Please know that you are appreciated and loved.
First, that sweater is rad. Second, my eyes were watering at the happy to be alive, because I know how that can feel like such a big commitment.. like "am I?... I am!... wow!"
I’ve been crocheting for 10 years now and I still struggle to make clothes! So don’t be mad if it doesn’t come out well the first time cause it’s a lot harder than it looks 😊 Honestly one of the best parts of crochet is that you can just pull out mistakes and try again or reuse the yarn for something else
I am a mental health therapist. I recently got to hold space with a client who said out loud, for the first time, "I am happy to be alive." Her reaction was much like yours. What a realization!
I love that you crochet and walk on the treadmill! I read a book on my iPad while I’m on the treadmill and I felt silly doing it but also genius… i could read it laying down in bed but I’m being productive and walking at the same time!
So much of my life I felt like I had to choose between getting energy out so my brain could focus and crafting or being creative and with my walking pad I realized I didn’t need to choose between those two! I built my walking disk when I was a web developer and was sitting for 10-12 hours a day writing code and it nearly killed me and my hyperactive body/brain. My walking pad has given me a lot of my enjoyment back in things I like doing but usually just require me to sit at a desk!
😭 “I love being alive…” I felt that. After going through IVF hormones, being pregnant and nursing for several years straight, my brain was all out of whack and there was a day where I finally felt myself again. Love you so much Elyse. We’re rooting for you and pray for your sweet little man. 💜💜💜🙏. (🩷Andrea)
One early morning, a few months after my daughter had been born, I woke up with a smile and said I was happy to be alive. She truly brought a happiness that I thought I'd never feel so consistently.
I’m a self taught “crocheter” so this was so enjoyable. But even if I didn’t crochet I would still love this longer video. So so many layers and so vulnerable and funny and heartwarming. Thank you for sharing these snippets of your life with us. It’s absolutely so helpful to others to show these vulnerable moments and your progress. Love love love this. ❤
I can only describe a feeling I've been having that I think is similar...relief. I've cried tears of relief, that my mind and body are being released from this stagnant state, into one a state of just...living for it's own sake. And it's a relief.
First. You are my fav creator and inspired me to crochet. I started a month ago and have made a lot of stuffed animals. So unbelievably relatable w everything you say about adhd , so glad I'm not alone. 😭
I LOVE how this fits!! This is my exact kind of sweater style. Big and comfy. So perfect with some leggings. You did a beautiful job, and this has inspired me to make some granny squares and maybe make a sweater. But first I have to finish my mittens, baby blanket lovey, and the basket I stress started making today because the other 2 projects are taking too long 😂
@@elyse_myersDUDE! I love their store brand yarn. The "gentle" line soooo good. I have adhd and autism and it is the opposite of sensory overload. Currently making a granny square sweater from that. Thanks for sharing yours. I appreciate you.
My Grandma thought to crochet when I was little. Granny squares for the win! Your sweater is absolutely beautiful Elyse! I am so proud of you for completing it! I would never completed it. I would have seen something else that needed to be don’t and got sidetracked into next year and never went back to it!
girl youre making ME cry😭 all of us are crying with you. i adore seeing how happy you are when you are expressing your creativity. it honestly heals me seeing others heal themselves or realize theyre okay now🫶🏽
You make me laugh and you make me cry. Making things has kept me sane and given me joy even when I have to redo something. Love the sweater. The blue was a great choice for the bands. ❤❤❤❤
How you find the time to accomplish this with two little ones is absolutely incredible!! Wishing I had that time management 😆 I have two littles too and I can't even get all my daily chores completed!
You should be very proud of birthing your sweater. It is brilliant and classic. It’s you. Now you can work on another design to grow out of yourself. Nice lil granny squares do well in the world of life art. Proud for you. Nailed it!!!
This was magical happiness. I love that you kept at it at created something just so lovely. You are amazing at understanding milestones and it’s beautiful. ❤❤❤
I am a sporadic crocheter who was trying to remember how to make a granny square. Yep, I am a granny trying to remember my crochet youth. I stumbled upon your delightful tutorial and your infectious personality makes me smile. I admit I now have sweater envy tho I enjoy you more than the overwhelming thought of a BIG project that will likely be cast aside unfinished. It’s the way my brain works….shiny object syndrome….”oh look, something new to try “. Anyway, you do beautiful work and I’m a fan. You’ve made this “older” lady smile and your sweater is BEAUTIFUL!!!
I subscribed at 12:31. I was enjoying the video so much, I've seen some of your shorts as well. I found "I love being alive" to just touch me through a dang computer. Creating is healing. No matter what you're creating. I've felt what you've felt when I've crocheted something I was so proud of. Thank you for this!
I love your tenacity Elyse. It is way after midnight in South Africa, but I’m enjoying watching you!😊and yes! I re-did a neck/collar probs 3 times…also had to re-do the front section as I had already sewed on the buttons. It was my first men’s sweater I made for my husband. I had to re-check his measurements sooo many times it was quite hilarious at times and other times, I said I’m never doing it again. Now my son also loves it when he saw it on his dad, and has ordered one😂😂I’m crazy like that, cause I think I’m a crochet addict!…for the love of crochet! “Living by grace, not perfection”. Be blessed❤
Thank you for sharing that vulnerable moment with us. As someone who has also been in and out of an unbearably dark place, that moment when you realize you're in a place where you actually love to be alive, is such an invaluable one. To go from it being legitimately impossible to feel a sense of appreciation or any spark of joy in your existence, to tearing up at the feeling of sun on your skin and the smell of flowers in the wind.. it's the greatest freedom. I can't tell you how incredibly over the moon I am for you. You're a beautiful person that deserves to be happy, both inside and out. Really proud of you. ♥
💖ok, you are a Rockstar, I have Adhd also, I have never blocked, wow. I've made hats and scarfs (scarves?) and a poncho sweater quilt blanket thing with buttons. (It was 2threads, thick, and very warm) You have renewed my interest in knitting and crochet again. Hugs for you. I also am grateful. 🙏💖🤗 I like experimenting with threads, pattern repeats, adding or switching yarns. I never did finish weaving in the threads for my son's baby blanket... he is almost 24. 😄
you’ve literally helped me through so much with my anxiety and stress thank you so much and thank you for all the videos that you make!!❤️❤️💋 also first!😁✨
As someone who can only crochet blankets and scarfs out of total fear… I’m so impressed!!! And I’m putting my Elyse Myers voice on here… please wear that beautiful sweater!!❤❤❤❤
Loved your video! I like the little moments inbetween that you captured, like getting a meal together. Must have taken lots of work. A couple of tips when crocheting Granny Squares: When you want to add a few ros to widen a square, just add them on ONE SIDE. That way the rest of the square won't be out of guage. The other thing I do is when I wet block, I spray the piece thoroughly (don't wet it all the way through), pin them, then use a hair dryer to dry them at least half of the way if not about 90%, then I let them finish normally. Don't hold the hair dryer too close to Acrylic yarn or the yarn can start to melt. This cuts your blocking time in half.
If you’re interested in the history of fibre art, would definitely recommend looking into nalbinding! It’s kind of like the forerunner to crochet and knitting, it’s super interesting to see a method that’s SO OLD still being loved by people today even if it’s less well known than crochet or knitting. One of my favourite things about nalbinding is that there’s no ‘tension’ set by the tools like in knitting or crochet with the width of the needle/hook. With nalbinding the size of the stitches depends on the size of the crafter’s hands, so every piece is totally specific to the person who made it ❤
11:05 I LOVE THIS! That moment when the creation in your head becomes reality!! And you can finally get an idea of "wait, my plan might actually work?!?" Amazing 😮❤
Elyse, I love you, and I am also happy you are alive! This video was addicting - I could not stop watching. Thank you for sharing yourself so unabashedly. This video captures so much so well - mental health struggles and the beauty within them, the tornado process behind doing (or learning) something creative, that is rarely shown, and overall just the sense of 'we're gonna do this thing because we want to. And if we make mistakes or it's not what we want, we'll do it again, and that's okay'. That is so encouraging and real. Just, thank you!
I cheered when the collar & bottom became blue. I was hoping you’d see the light!! This would look great belted (or not!) with dark leggings & walking boots! Awesome work, friend!🥹☀️
Before I saw this video I saw a short of that section where you realize you’re happy to be alive, and I felt so emotional. Then this week I had that same experience, having the thought “isn’t it so wonderful to be alive?” It was such an intense and beautiful moment and you described it perfectly. Thank you for showing the world genuine human experiences like that, you have a huge impact
I really admire how you didn't give up. Remember you can always take it apart and rejoin into a afghan . The blocks are beautiful. Can't wait to try them , but not for a sweater, probably an afghan.
Thanks for showing your persistence, Elyse. Been knitting 20+ yrs but I made this one zip up knit sweater and then painstakingly sewed a lining for it (from not cheap fabric 🥳😵💫) and once I sewed the liner in I hated it and I lost steam there. Thanks for inspiring me to go back, take the lining out ANYWAY, and make it what I want ❤ ps- you’re awesome
The way I was crying with you at the 'I love being alive!' The girls that get it, get it. This was the most adorable video and radiated a joy I can still feel now. It was an instant subscribe for me. Hope you have a great day!
You're just wonderful 😊❤ I was going to suggest having it put into a display/shadow box (like a sports jersey would be) and hang it up as art if you don't plan on wearing it because it really is gorgeous, I love the colors and the retro vibes!!!
Ok, looks like I enjoy watching your videos on literally ANY topic. The longer the better! PS. Changing collar color to blue was absolutely right choice! Sweater turned out perfect!
Amazing work! I tell everyone that crocheting saved my life because it helped me find purpose again. I sobbed when you said you were happy to be alive. Thank you for sharing that with us 💙💙💙
Elyse, I have watched you since TT and I have to say, this sweater is gorgeous. It's a perfect labor of love for yourself, and I absolutely felt when you cried over being happy to say out loud that you love being alive. There is so much to love about this. You learned so much, challenged yourself, agonized over the color scheme and arrangement of your handmade blocks, shared with your following and cried with us! Also, you can tie your sweater to the realization that you felt beautiful while making it and there is nobody else in the world like it Or you. I have enjoyed seeing the progress and all your real outtakes. It's been an honor to have found you over here on the tube. I've made two of these squares today, and keep going back to your tutorial for the parts I've needed help with. The way you describe everything makes it so helpful! Now I want to try more flower blocks! Thank you, precious one!
That is the most beautiful piece of art , I've ever seen . The colors?? The colors though ...& changing the bottom & neck to be blue to create a separation.. chefs kiss , I really want this sweater, I don't think I'd ever take it off.. but I also wouldn't want to ruin it 😅but seriously, I need one
I love your sweater!!!! Wear it on a cold day outside, while holding a nice cup of coffee. Each square says, yes it’s cold, but i’m a bloom of color and springtime all year round🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸
Please keep making crochey videos!!! I always hate tutorials because they're too rigid but I followed your tutorial for the granny square and I'm making my first ever blanket 😊😊 I've tried so many times but as someone with both autism and adhd I have such a hard time doing big projects because I get bored or distracted or way too frustrated, but I've found you and your content so inspirational and motivating and I'm following my dreams now!!! Thank you!!!
I don't know you Elyse, but I love you, and you bring so much joy to my life and millions of other people. Thanks for crying at snow and being alive, both of those things make me cry too
I am so in love with the person that you are. Experiencing your authenticity and vulnerability brings me to a place of peace and gratitude for what it is to be human. Thank you for having the courage to be you.
i think my favorite part of this video is all of elyse's decisions, words, and opinions about and reactions to the neck of the sweater. i could so relate to every piece of that! :)

As a viewer, there was a lot of Zen to be found here, with sprinkles of reality, and mini-explosions of joy. Dig you so much.
Well said! I feel the same way ❤

I absolutely save longer videos from my favorite creators until I have the right snack and the right comfy clothes to enjoy the video ! Hahaha
Same!!! Also would be fascinating to know what creators you like!
@@elyse_myers um...Did we just become best friends??
DUDE! You make so much sense. My family can't process how I function. It's really cool to see someone else that functions in some similar ways.
Even though I saw 13:04 on a reel or short, it still got me again. I feel the same, it’s wild that my mind no longer tries to change that
This is so kind of you - thank you so much! 🥹
I love the change to the blue! Amazing job!
Thank you!!!
The word not sounding like a word anymore really hit.
Absolutely loved watching this! 🙌🏼 the emotional rollercoaster is so relatable. The sweater is a work of art for sure xx
From tacos to art and everything in between-the joy you spread is unmatched!! So proud of and excited for you. Thanks for bringing us along 🤩
So glad I get to be here with you!
I cried with you and I cheered with you. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
Thank you for being here with me!
I totally thought, "I'm so proud of her!" I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Teaching about learning is called pedagogy. You would have made an amazing educator & you are teaching us all in important ways even now. ♥️♥️
Congrats. This video was pure joy to watch. Thank you. What is next?
YES YES I HAVE. Just recently, actually, AND more than once on the SAME project each time 🤪 I was ready to rip my hair out along with the stitches, lol. BUT! You DID IT! YOU made YOURSELF a frickin sweater! That is TRULY bodacious and you have every right to feel proud of your accomplishment. Well. Done. Very well done, indeed.
And btw? I see you, brave young lady. You ROCK.
🤟🏻☺️🫶🏻🧶 xx-Lisa in OH
"It is hot, yes it is" made me laugh out loud. This is beautifully done and it absolutely would suffocate me as well lol.
So don’t be mad if it doesn’t come out well the first time cause it’s a lot harder than it looks 😊
Honestly one of the best parts of crochet is that you can just pull out mistakes and try again or reuse the yarn for something else
But first I have to finish my mittens, baby blanket lovey, and the basket I stress started making today because the other 2 projects are taking too long 😂
I'm happy you're alive too.
Bless your sweet heart Elyse! The world is lucky to have you 🩷
As I’m leaving Michaels with $100 worth of yarn this video is posted 😂
You'll need to go back and get more yarn!!
It was meant to beeeeeee
(Okay but also you should check out Joann Fabrics if you have one near you because their store brand yarn is like $2.50 a skein and it’s awesome!)
@@elyse_myersDUDE! I love their store brand yarn. The "gentle" line soooo good. I have adhd and autism and it is the opposite of sensory overload. Currently making a granny square sweater from that. Thanks for sharing yours. I appreciate you.
@elyse_myers
The jumper is stunning, and you should wear it! Well done, lass.
Good for you, Elyse. I cried a little when you surprised yourself for being happy to be alive. I've had that moment, too.
As a crafter myself, I'm so stoked that you've found joy in crochet!!
My Grandma thought to crochet when I was little. Granny squares for the win! Your sweater is absolutely beautiful Elyse! I am so proud of you for completing it! I would never completed it. I would have seen something else that needed to be don’t and got sidetracked into next year and never went back to it!
Ah Elyse, I loved watching this!! You’re awesome and it IS a beautiful sweater!! You made it, go you!
Thank you!!!
girl youre making ME cry😭 all of us are crying with you. i adore seeing how happy you are when you are expressing your creativity. it honestly heals me seeing others heal themselves or realize theyre okay now🫶🏽
Thank you for showing how much perseverance it took to make your beautiful sweater! Truly an inspiration.
I felt that “I love being alive” in my sou as someone with fragile mental health. I’m so happy for you Elyse.
You make me laugh and you make me cry. Making things has kept me sane and given me joy even when I have to redo something. Love the sweater. The blue was a great choice for the bands. ❤❤❤❤
This was so beautiful to watch. That’s all :)
I want to share hugs with you too, Mariah, from one "sister of gratitude" to another. I'm glad you've made it through, too! I'm glad for all of us.
@@Marialla. Aw man this really warmed my heart, thank you for that. I'm glad for all of us too ♥
💖ok, you are a Rockstar, I have Adhd also, I have never blocked, wow. 😄
you’ve literally helped me through so much with my anxiety and stress thank you so much and thank you for all the videos that you make!!❤️❤️💋 also first!😁✨
This makes my heart so happy. Thank you for sharing this with me!!
@@elyse_myers your so welcome!! every time i see your videos i just know that everything is going to be okay. ❤️✨
I really like the blue top and bottom ribbing. It really sets it off and frames your face.
I love the combination of vulnerability, determination, and creativity!
I cheered when the collar & bottom became blue. I was hoping you’d see the light!!
This would look great belted (or not!) with dark leggings & walking boots! Awesome work, friend!🥹☀️
GORGEOUS
Thank you, precious one!
oooommmgg... "I love... being... alive" I love this so much and felt it so deeply through your expressions
Thanks for being so real. You give me company, like i am chatting with a dear friend. I appreciate you.
It turned out great and I love the change to the blue band and neck♥️😘
Thanks for crying at snow and being alive, both of those things make me cry too
Oh Elyse, you are so funny and honest in sharing your videos, I love ya!
