I went with the Bike+ because I like Peloton's classes, the automatic calibration, the music, and the social aspects. Overall, it just appeals to me better.. However, the Nordictrack looks amazing, and it probably is the better bike with its incline and decline tech, but I just don't see the iFit rides engaging me the way Peloton does.

Good review but i did notice the monitor on the peloton was super crisp.

Definitely. Peloton has done a great job selecting high end crisp monitors. Probably the best monitor we've seen on any piece of fitness equipment

The game change is THE CLASSES! The peloton classes, the instructors , the music and the leaderboard is what destroys any other indoor bike and program

Can you connect the Apple Watch to the S27i like you can with the Bike+?

Where would you rate the Life fitness ride CX bike in terms of comfort ability and feel with the Nordic track s27i?? I really like the idea of the incline decline features of the Nordic Track bike but the Life fitness CX bike also seems like a good option too. There is just too many options now that it is becoming more difficult to choose.Do you guys still like the s15i bike or are the upgrades to the current model of the Nordic Track s22i worth the price difference?? If one is not interested in paying for a subscription to use the Nordic Track bike would it still have been a top pick??

I can chime in from personal experience... I owned a life fitness CX, NT s15i, and a Peloton bike, out of ALL three... I prefer the NT s15i (which essentially s22i, and s27i, are the same as far as build and resistance even though 15i shows 22 levels...22 levels resistance wise are the SAME as 22 levels, seriously). I liked the CX quite alot, except for the fact that there were no microadjustments for saddle height and the flywheel mass did not give me enough resistance. I had so many issues with the CX that life fitness picked up my bike as a technician couldn't fix the issues. I've had issues with Peloton as well,... even though I love the classes...but if you are looking for a bike that feels like a road bike then I would consider going with any of the Nordictrack models. I moved so I actually re-ordered a s15i that is arriving monday. On sale for 699 best buy. You cannot beat that price.

Thanks for the input. Are you a big guy for the CX even with the 100 levels of resistance not being enough??What problems did you have with the bike that the technician could not resolve??I was also considering the Keiser M3i but that also has a light flywheel weight.I am just worried the NT s15i lacking the option to pull the handles closer to me and a bit more higher may have me feeling like I’m reaching to far forward and bending over.I want need to sit be a bit more upright. What was the most difficult part of assembling the NTbike??
Thanks for commenting on your experience with these bikes. It has really helped.

@@sonia5874 Good questions! I am 120 lbs but an advid biker who likes to mash alot (meaning high resistance, low cadence). I had a Keiser M3i at one point too...I loved that bike...a LOT, however the extreme Q-factor bugged my knees, which is why I prefer a narrower Q-factor. I believe the NordicTrack is 150mm, and if I'm not mistaken, CX is 155mm. I had no problems on the CX pedal-wise. The issues I had were the non-stop squeeking on handlebars, I had a bent right crank arm which turned out to be a bottom bracket issue, computer that would not work, but the biggest of issues was that the resistance was so choppy. The Keiser and CX share similar setup flywheel wise...and the Keiser absolutely HANDS down beats the CX. If you want an open platform with great customiziation for your body type...then I would choose the Keiser. The new computer transmits bluetooth to connect to Zwift and other programs...AND, like the CX, you don't need to be tied to an electrical outlet unlike the NT. Honestly, for me...if Keiser made a model with a narrower Q-factor...I'd take that over any bike that needs electricity to run, and I say because I normally ride indoors when the weather is foul, and if the power goes out..out of luck with a plug in.

I’m about 5’3 and 100 lbs. and like you seem to be more of a grinder too. I really appreciate this information since I have no way to actually try these bikes out before purchasing.I do find the NT incline feature interesting to have but not knowing how the motor will hold up over time is kind is making me hesitant to buy even with the current price drop. Also,do you find the M3i handle bars to feel more or less comfortable than the NT?
      Thanks

Do you find yourself more hunched over reaching for the handles on the Keiser or the LifeFitness CX?!

Torn between these two, never taken a class but heard that’s what motivates people but the other bike with incline features looks superior hmmmm
