He's like a shit caterpillar.. that underwent a shit metamorphosis, and now his mouth leaks pedantic platitudes n'shit. Will everyone really be so childlike, uncreative and boring in 50 years?
Wow, another deep download! Jordan and Daniel are two frontier nodes that I try to absorb in high resolution. Not to mention the past year of taking Qualia during the work week, and the kind of flow states that I get into regularly. Looking forward to #63!
Yea, as a software engineer and creative professional who needs long periods of uninterrupted focus, it's easier for me to get into flow states for long periods. Even to the point where I'm so absorbed in my work, I lose track of time and my sense of self, and come up with genius output. I've noticed a bit of stabilizing across the days, in that there's not as much of a variability in my motivation levels - I'm on my top game day to day. And in my meditation practice, it's easier to hold my focus in one part of my body in a rather lucid way. But I would argue that you've really got to be performing in an advanced way already, in order to get the most out of the supplement stack.
Hey guys thanks a lot by such a great job you are doing here, inspiring. May I ask you to please activate Spanish subs, I want to share it with a friend but she does not know a clue about English, thankx so much.
The material presented in this broadcast, and more broadly w/Jordan's focus, demonstrates everything that is wrong with everything; everywhere. It's not that the level of thinking is unimportant. It's that the level of thinking is unattached to anything whatsoever that could mean anything in the real world. So, civilization is going to collapse; let's be thinking about epistemological paradigms like time/space, spheres and Newtonian versus relativistic physics. Yes, civilization is going to collapse, because no one is thinking about how to stop it from collapsing!!! Moreover, when that kinda thing happens, it's pretty disruptive, no? It's not like the truck driver is going to just lose his job and that's going to hurt the individual and the economy. It's going to be a little bit more broad and messy then that alone...is it not? How you connect all of this in any practical way to managing (and surviving) the "fall of civilization" is a pretty big thing to leave out. What, after the collapse will we be free to do based on "deep code" ideas? Teaching a man to fish is one of the most important concepts we have. It requires not only the thinking about how to do that, but the thinking as to how to organize the doing of that and then.... wait for it - the DOING of it!!! Who is doing that doing? No one. It's a wide open space! Teaching a man "how to invent fishing" is a little bit of a red herring. Such inventiveness comes from civilizations - or properly functional/formed civilized people - dealing with their challenges, and the ideas that can meet them, in a way that supports emergent developments. Maybe thinking about how to invent that - and then thinking HOW TO DO THAT - might be a bit more useful to "civilization" then stylized intellectual musings that have no possible or potential application; particularly in a world ready to crumble or in a post crumble state.
it is capitalism[at the root] that is collapsing, and it will drag civilization down with it. our civilization only really needs a few percent of its populace to provide everything required. good luck trying to convince the nation of anything that runs counter to the values that have been drilled into our heads since the moment we attended school or could understand the mass media.
Reverse engineer, pick out the most essential elements for a different more co-operative humanity, enable those who are not quite there, to function beyond the current mechanisms of society: Job, family, die. That's what i received. The WAY in which he explains the ideas, is the fishing lesson basically Take the baby walking for example, we commonly look at things as a whole and not as a collection of components, the knowledge is there but personal ideas lack.. He offered me a way to collect, observe and apply knowledge in a way that could be applied realistically to encourage more thoughtful results Maybe i'm being agreeable because this came at a point in my life where i don't know how to be something else in the face of a new era of intelligence. Maybe it's because i got ridiculed for being deep my whole life, f**k knows I've accepted that this reality we have here is redundant and subtractive to our human potential; constraining our essential selves for daftness, drama and division. The world is ready to crumble. If we survive it, we will need to start again. If society collapses we will need a new template. The man is helping us to develop our own answers, rather than purely giving them
Kevin G I sadly agree. All of the ingredients are there. The imagination of really talented sci fi writers have given us glimpses. I think the movie 'Brazil' was closest to what we are heading towards.
Well I’d say a deep / high moment would be in the imperfections of musical expression ie what we get wrong ?!?! This Expresses itself at least outside of .. and I’m guessing.. the perfection of AI and it’s generic programs... I find it hard to imagine AI intentionally doing that .. but then if it did how would that differ from our own intelligence.. and then would that not just be an ongoing situation where AI and ourselves would still have an even playing field of expression?? That sounds like fun to me 😀😀

Global collapse due to humans ability to communicate to most immediately. Would more agree to civil unrest. This has been done to us, and humans ty my knowledge have always lived in fear from tyranny. Whom ever leads are corrupt by nature, by default. This system is set to fear based, not love but hate. So why? Learning entropy machine, or a prison.

I’m a truck driver so the beginning of this podcast was fun.
Did you honk your horn?
It's going to take 50 years for the culture to catch up with Jordan Greenhall's brain.
Thanks to his beautiful mind, it won't be a hundred

K Vlad Wow! That was brazen! But, maybe justified.

Kyle L what is Qualia
Rebel wisdom brought me here
I stumbled on this channel and I never heard anyone talk about kuhn since my philosophy of science class. Should be a household name.
Half of all videos I watch now are by Jordans
Love this guy!
This is fantastic stuff!!
Isn't the whole concept behind Deep Code similar to the theory of P=NP?

They may replace physicists but never plumbers.
Truer words.......and man do we need our plumbers!
Voted down for the obsolete content
Why obsolete? How far behind am i?

I don't understand this whole series. Seems like blather. Rich tasty blather. It tries my patience.
