I bought a Gucci “outlet” bag. I spent $900 on an “outlet” bag when I could have spent the money at a full fledged Gucci store. Only to find out that the “outlet” bags are not worth as much as the boutique bags and are extremely hard to resale let alone get any where close to what you paid 😢
WHAT when you go to Gucci outlet ask them to show you only boutique bags...I have gotten bags that were 3 to 4 k for 700.00 to 1k . I go the Wrenthem MA. They are scared of me because they Know I don't play and my daughter works high up in Gucci Corporate in Manhattan
Yeah. I wouldn’t want anyone to be afraid of me in this life or the next.
Yes I’ve always talked about how outlet bags can be hard. Especially if they’re a unique color or style.
When you go in at a lower price there is usually less money to extract from it down the road. When people see outlet items, they know that they have been discounted and are seen as less valuable generally.
Which is why I only recommend (just like with anything else) that the focus on purchasing is the enjoyment and future use of the item- rather than potential for resale.

That’s so great to hear! For me it’s always about actively choosing pieces that will work for you. Mistakes will be made of course, but it’s good to be able to assess what works and what doesn’t

Tbh most of them I don’t regret. Most of all them, especially the popular items, I was able to sell for close to what I paid. So I didn’t really lose a ton of $$
Small Gucci belt, LV speedy 35B, Rive Gauche black tote and Gucci mini marmont. I hate them all bc of branding and they just sit in my closet bc I am afraid to try to sell privately due to scammers and not sure they would do well with resale sites. A video on how to sell our unwanted items would be great in the current market. 😅

Put the Chanel pin on a denim jackets (on or above the pocket or the collar) or a simple black sheath dress or a blazer. I make tons of videos where I wear them on plain baseball caps to the side (not centered)

I styled the brooch many ways in that video from years ago- the conclusion I came to is that I don’t like brooches. And I only like logos when they’re on bags…maybe a tshirt and certain limited other clothing pieces- but the brooch thing is not for me

My biggest regret is buying a designer fabric bag like denim or non-coated canvas. I was so scared to use the bag and reselling it is a nightmare 😅

The purchase I regret the most is YSL Cassandre bag.
If you had the chain wallet style, it was EXACTLY the same as my Dionysus one! The compartments on the inside completely got in the way. I discovered chain wallets are not for me

Some of them you don’t like I don’t like either except Gucci wallet on chain as the most probably useful in my entire life if you have 2 kids you only need grab and go key,cellphone,cards 16 slots just perfect!! I handle all my kids point cards too and this wallet just put inside of my tote bag and grab and go without lots of hassle thinking of pretty much scratch resistance.

Now that I have a new puppy, I understand way more than o used to! The issue I had was with things like lip glosses and car keys. Very thick and small things that would distort the shape and make it difficult to close and use.

Regret buying the LV cles I’ve hardly used it and resale isn’t even worth it… I regret not buying the Gucci monogram rain boots in grey back in the day.
I had an LV cles in the beginning too. I ended up cutting it for time in the video but I didn’t find it especially useful. I ended up replacing it a mini pochette (back when they were still affordable!)
No bags for me for a few mo just got 55k truck ...Havent had a car payment since 2000

Tbh I’ve always thought of the Christmas animations purely as collector’s items. For many reasons, but chiefly bc the screen printing will chip with regular use.

The Nano are oddly shaped and not so cute like the mini and micro
I don't like the Celine Luggage either 😅 Just never liked it.. Can't understand why it's so popular
The bigger sizes were fine for me when they did the solid colors but the nano wasn’t a good size, and I couldn’t use any of the pockets, so it was like basically no organization
I don't like the Celine bags either.
I like the new ones! The Triomphe bag has been calling my name.
I also do not care for logos…. But I like monogram. Doesn’t make sense but it’s more of a design opposed to an advertisement in my mind. Lol
No I completely get what you mean lol! Like the Damien Ebene print is so pretty to me! Even tho it’s not a logo it’s one of LV’s signature prints so it’s not like it’s hidden, but it’s not completely obvious either 😂😅
