I had a halo strap on my quest 1. I know how much this kind strap improves the comfort. This one looks even better.
I think that this setup must be the most comfortable for pcvr right now (until bigscreen beyond releases).

I ordered this and this thing leaks light on the sides like a civ. If you have a narrow face/head, the silicone face pad is not firm enough to close around the sides.

Just what I've been hoping for!
I really liked the other Pico 4 AMVR face mask... for about 40 minutes. Then I'd develop an absolutely excruciating pain right at the top of my forehead, and would HAVE TO take the headset off, then wait for an hour or more before the pain would subside. Needless to say, I didn't keep it on the head set for long.
Wearing the regular facial interface is not as uncomfortable, but my face is narrow enough that the light leakage can be really severe and distracting.
I've always done better with the more Halo-style straps with any VR headsets I've owned, so hopefully, this one will make wearing my Pico 4 for a longer time possible.
We need pico 5 with oled displays and eyes/face tracking 😮💨

I wish it had more exposure in the U.S so that more apps could be written for it. It really is a fantastic headset. Have not touched my Quest 2 since I got it. Thought I would need it, but don't.
Same. My Quest 2 doesn’t get a look in since I got the Pico 4. It is a great headset.
It's really great. I hope it finally comes to US, but time has passed and it might not happen. Shame that US regulators and whatnot are putting so many hurdles to allow a local release. It should be a fairer market instead of Facebook fishing in a bucket.

Yes, and also nobody really know for sure if this Quest 3 will or will not be superior to the pico. I find it stupid to read all the time that you need to wait for the Quest 3. On the paper, it doesn't look so different from the Pico 4 and I'm not sure it will be an serious upgrade ... On the other hand, there are other headsets, not the same prices of course, but they seem to be real upgrades to the Pico 4 ... But I just bought my Pico 4 and I find it a tremendous value for the money. I wanted something not expansive that I could upgrade in the year in case I found it so so ... I find it just amazing.

I have the bobovr strap and the amvr face gasket which I have found being the most comfortable that VR headsets get. How would you compare this new one to it? I know you have the same setup from previous videos

Hi Sebastian, great video, thanks, I found I did have light leakage at the sides as it wasn't curved enough to fit my face shape. The area behind you is quite dark, if you had bright lights on, does that give you light leakage? Just wondering if I have a weird shaped face 😁 thank you 👍
Same problem as DaydreamerVR , narrow faces have this problem .

Was the 47 something when i put it in basket, went to checkout at once and 59.99?
Closed browser and tried again, now price is 59.99 even before basket. No passing 24.00 so feels a bit odd, i guess 59.99 is including tax and 47-ish excluding tax...or something.

I can't buy more Pico 4 accesories. It just won't fit in my case. I'll get the BoboVR P4 then pray it still fits and that's it. Edit: That said, this looks fantastic.

When I gave AMVR feedback after trying this halo strap, they said they would consider the revisions with the PICO 5, that doesn't mean anything, but it could mean something 🤔🤷♂️
Hi Sebastian I've been watching since the Lenovo Explorer days.A question would you buy a Pico 4 for pcvr ? or is the Pico 3 linked better for PCVR ? I was going to use the 4 usb wired and it seems to have the better tech. The but would be its not direct to the GPU. I have just got a 4070 ti so want to use it for MFS 2020 Thanks ..
You will get more performance with the the Pico 3 thanks to DP. But the Pico 4 is also so good now thanks to VD, which you can also use wired now with some tricks. I say Pico 4.

I have PN3L and Pico 4.
Running on a GF 1080 and old gen i7 clocked 3.4GHz with SSD drives.
Pico 3 Neo Link pros:
- MUCH brighter
- More vivid colours (brightness might help with that)
- Feels a lot more colour correct (PN4 feels a bit green-ish, easy seen side by side on clouds and snow in mountains in home environment)
- REAL cable = less load on PC, less compression, connection stability and to me better image quality due to this (can turn it up more as well)
Pico 4 pros:
- Lighter
- Motorized IPD (cool but makes no difference to me image quality wise)
- Smaller / trendier
- Controllers feels better
- More after market gadgets if into that
I prefer the PN3L mostly due to colours and brightness + lower resolution (feels higher or same with cable) and cable = loads my pc less so more headroom, but also it doesnt have any major issues of the fresnells and i cant say sweet spot size is very diffierent vs pico 4 for me anyways.
Gonna keep both i think. P4 for dark games (and i dont get disappointed from the poor brightness and low vividness of colours) where i want wireless freedom. Zombie gamed maybe?
PN3L everything else (racing and games that dont make me twist cables in my ceiling mounted system for cable freedom)

Interesting, but how is it handling sweat? I use the AMV cover today and its way better for sweat when dancing, sweat occurs around headsett then a silicon cover or original. Also easy to clean. So question is have you worn this AMVR 3-1 and sweated alot and cleaned it ?
It's like psvr. You don't really sweat into it. Because this barely touches you. It is very good.

I've just purchased this product.
I now own the following:
1. Zyber Strap - upgraded strap and works well
2. AMVR Facial Interface - Good but you do sweat on the PU leather Interface
3. GEEK VR Facial Interface V1 - Useless worse than the original pico Interface
I've just purchased this as I also have the AMVR controller grips, which are great. And generally speaking, AMVR makes quality products anyway.
Hope this accessory works as great as Sebastian has marketed it. I always wanted to have a halo strap alternative. I used to own the bobo vr Halo strap but sold the quest as it's just not a good fitness device as it's too heavy.
Unfortunately the light leakage for me around the sides make this a complete waste of money
But it seems you cannot use the hotswappable battery or can you, because that would mean a step back.

Pico 4 is the best headset on the market for the $$$ ,, the flip up is really needed
, apple should take note they failed hard with the eye display ,, a waste of battery ,+weight for the headset
if you want a similar top strap for basically free (suspension/ halo headstrap), what i did is just grab an elastic band, and strung it from the left speaker to right, i used a simple paper clip weaved/looped into the band to make it stay on the headset, it takes about 2/5 of the weight off of the back/front of my head, and when mixed with the original top strap its amazing, adjustable too. should be free, because most will either have the materials lying around in a sewing box, or will know somebody that does. ( it also doesn't add to the headsets weight)

Tried 2 pico 4 headsets and both had botched lenses. A lot of wobbly distortion. Nobody else has this??
I have this as well on mine. I think the degree of the distortion may vary. Mine is minimal but still noticeable on occasion.
