@@ChrisMWright I like that the Hindle’s are rarely seen and is different than what 99.99% of the others have on their bikes! The Hindle’s sound fantastic! The Yosh, hey who doesn’t like a great sounding and looking Yosh pipe!! Performance is not a noticeable difference to be honest w you!! They both look great! I just had Yosh totally refurb the cans, new Carbon Fiber sleeves, repack, and updated the end caps from stainless to a more modern Carbon Fiber end cap, it really updated the look and they came back looking brand new!!!!
Hindle makes the installation process as straightforward as possible. I’d consider myself to be an intermediate gear head and this installation took me 1.5 hours (including removing the old exhaust). If you’re in the Cincinnati area I could lend you a hand, or I could FaceTime with you. Let me know. If you are buying the Hindle exhaust soon, make sure to buy the baffle (it’s sold separately) because the exhaust without the baffle is too loud. Talk soon!
@@ChrisMWright did you have to get a power commander thingy to avoid the fi light. And Planning on doing it in the next month or so, thanks for the response man. Im pretty new to it all and definitely not a mechanic but Im wanting to figure it out
No Power Commander device is needed when changing exhaust systems. The Mass Airflow Sensor can accommodate the increased airflow and subsequently provide more fuel. Thankfully we’re talking fuel injection with computers and not carburetors bc carbs take a little bit of black magic to tune effectively. Keep me posted and I’ll step you through it all.
Great question! No flash is needed with the additional of an aftermarket exhaust bc modern bikes have fuel injectors and mass air flow sensors to rich/lean the air/fuel ratio in the fly. I wanted to flash it to smooth out the power delivery. I think most people go with a Power Commander from Dyno Jet.
@@ChrisMWright thanks brother, I bought a 22 model 650 a couple months ago. The exhaust and exit reflash are the first mods on the list. I’ve heard a lot of exhausts, but the Hindle exhaust sounds amazing with no baffle at a high rpm. I think that will be my choice.
Congrats man! The ninja 650 is a versatile bike. I thoroughly enjoyed that bike while I had it. I enjoy loud exhaust systems but the Hindle without the baffle can become very loud when driving more than 30 minutes. After a few decent rides without the baffle, I ordered a baffle and never took it out again. You still get the pops and bangs and great high rev sound but the ear punches are greatly reduced. Let me know your experience. Talk soon
@@ChrisMWright thanks brother, I will prob purchase the baffle also, once I get the money saved up I will let you know the outcome. Also the bike has been great so far def decent for the price. Maybe one day I will move up to a bigger one who knows, this bike is fun though!
Funny to find out, that other Model-A-ers do have Ninja-s too 😃. (Over here in germany, police would shoot at you while using this exhaust - Hell is, where the police is german) Have fun
Germans def have their rules and stick to them. Rules are typically suggestions here in the states. Which is how I was able to get away with that super loud exhaust. It was unbearably loud without the baffle.
@@ChrisMWright yeah can be abit.. still under belly setup with the Yoshi would do the trick but most of the time you are on the bike and you dont see it. 😏
I have a Hundle Exhaust for my Suzuki TL1000R and love it. I switch between the Hindle and a Yoshimura.
What do you like about each of them? Sound, aesthetic, performance?

@@ChrisMWright alright man, thanks
Also did you have to weld any?
Did you flash the ecu after?

How much the setup cost?
The standard polished aluminum kit is available on Hindle’s website for $650 while the black kit is $950

I still think the Yoshimura is the best for the ninja 650 tho...
The sound is prob better but the boxy looks of the Yoshimura can kills the over aesthetic. Yeah?

it looks like stock sounds better than this......
