Man I miss being in my teens. I used to roll K2 Fatty's with the red shark skin. Just bought a pair of Rollerblade NJ5's. Hoping it's like riding a bike and just comes back to me over time.
I had a pair of k2 fattys as well. I got mine used from a good friend of mine in 2000. They were pretty much brand new i ended up giving him a $50 bag of weed for them.. i had those skates until 2010 i ended up hurting myself at the skatepark and got pissed and trashed them along with another pair of k2s i had been using for parts... How i regret that now.. hha
Wow this really takes me back, and makes me grateful! New folks coming up today will have no clue how good they have it. As someone coming back now after skating in the mid 90's to early 2000's, the skates now are lightyears ahead of where they were back then.
Man, Ricardo. I could never Royale on my Troopers and I thought it was me. It's the one trick I always wanted to learn but could never hit. Fell so much. This video brought me so much joy, thank you. Brings back my teenage years
Wow this takes me back to the 90's... had some of the best summers of my life! We did everything...basketball, football (soccer for all my American friends here in the UK) even played roller hockey for a bit as well but skating just had the boom back then and we all did it... great memories!
Love the concept ! I actually started street skating with some Roces Charles De Gaule, a kind a speed skating with an aluminium frame. I can't believe I dropped the big ramp and frontsided small rails with thoses.
I've recently return to blading and been skating my old bauer respects. Watching this has confirmed my suspicion that it is actually the skates that makes grinding so hard to learn. I can't wait to pick up some new skates, and I suspect the difference will be night and day with how difficult it is to grind
My very first skates were Bauer F3 before those versions came out which were based on the F3. I remember taking off the second wheel to grind and then later using a file to flatten the frame on the inside and installing Scribe grind plates
Bauer frontsides were my 1st aggressive rollerblades. Got them for $30 bucks brand new from Ross...who would've thought that those is what got me started lol
Are those Rollerblade “Storm Troopers”? Those were the vert model. I had the white chocolates. Mostly the same, but the street version. They had the same crazy ankle strap! But not the cool logo. You made me feel good taking about how hard grinds are in them! Maybe I was better than I gave myself credit for back in the day!
Lol awesome guys. I had the Lightning TRS 96-97? (same as Chris Edwards) as my first aggressive skate and the royale groove was huge from grinding, it had to be. I learned to backslide on those bad boys. Those dam things needed soul block plates in the front and rear which I had. The rear pretty much had no soul at all. My top acids were super stretched because of the high frames. Good stuff guys, fun to watch . 👍👍.
I've got bruises and injuries just watching that. How you guys do that without padding blows me away. You must be built like wolverine. Those bauers were the first skates I ever tried imported from Canada before inline was a thing in the UK. Orange hyper wheels were the shit!
oh man i remember those tricks.. lol i started on roller blades then got soloman st9's (i still have them) 20+ years ago if i could skate again i would.. i was in the top five in NE England before i got hurt
i remember when bauer pro skates was the shiiit! i skatet with the bauer team alot, cool people. but maaan we did have alot of competion between us m12 users and the bauer bladers.
yea! love it! love to see more games of b.l.a...... I mean, games of inline! frank and I are doing our online game of blade too.... should probably change it to inline, lol!
My first pair of skates were Rollerblade Lighting and I remember bugging my parents for the tarmac ce and my dad surprised me with troopers then i had oxygen 3.1s my current skates are solo tribe
Nice game and by the way I like that you are trying to set a name to what we do, I agree the most correct way in English should be inline skating. Well done keep up with the hard work
haha, i still have my old pair of "TG (toto ghali) pro model". not sure if i'd describe it as iconic or plain ugly, but they were the most destinct and chunky looking skates ever. good times!
@@RicardoLino Hmm. Not sure if mine were shiftys. I remember they had that metal grind plate. The boot was all black with some purple, and the liner had some yellow. I think it was their first aggressive skate. I have been able to find pictures. And I'm not sure if they were shiftys
it could for sure.. but we wanted to make people feel like they were there..hahaah :) hope you enjoyed...or hope you will when you have time to watch it.. we had sooo much fun filming this..
Shit I had the boxcars as well!!! Wow what nostalgia... after that I upgraded to the argons. Feels strange even saying these words again after all these years... still have my argons in the loft.. haven't worn them since 99!
U know the 90s Skates were designed for 90s tricks right? So just fishbones, sitting bulls and UFOs in the next blade game lol Btw if you need beats check out my stuff. Free to use for skate edits ;P blade on
What? A skateboader letting an inliner wax something, if you did that in any skatepark in Oregon the skateboaders would beat you to death with their skate-tuck. Truth, it has and does happen.
Such a fun idea! ^^
thanks man. we had so muuch FUN!!!

This was a huge ego boost for 13 year-old me. No wonder I couldn't land everything and fell constantly. It was the skates the whole time!! haha
No shit! The negatives are bigger than the sole sides on these new skates!!
I skated all throughout the 90s, but I never knew Bauer made aggressive skates. I don't know how I missed that.
You’re not the only one, don’t feel bad lol.
I have never seen a man look so happy after having his camera kicked!
Sick video idea, enjoyed it! The noise from those Bauer's souls took me back...
Man, Ricardo. I could never Royale on my Troopers and I thought it was me. It's the one trick I always wanted to learn but could never hit. Fell so much. This video brought me so much joy, thank you. Brings back my teenage years
Bauer Frontsides were my first skate....two years of pain!!! I liked the liners but the grind plate I took off day one.
Wow this takes me back to the 90's... had some of the best summers of my life!
We did everything...basketball, football (soccer for all my American friends here in the UK) even played roller hockey for a bit as well but skating just had the boom back then and we all did it... great memories!
OMG bauer frontsides were my dream skate when I was a kid....never got em tho
Lucky dog those look mint!!!!
Same here, but seems like a bad idea whith those metal frames.
This was the most fun episode so far! Great stuff lino, and backsavanna on those things is super scary hahaha! Love this!
This is awesome. I remember all these guys from my youth we've had a skateshop since 1993. This is epic. Memories. Rolling on in 2022 and beyond.
This video hits home right now, im down in mexico skating my uncle's oldschool salomons and im missing my usd aeons back home so much rn 😩
Got the Edwards' Chocolates with my hard-earned paper route $$. Best $300 I ever spent. Loved every second of it.

I can watch games of inline from you two any day!!! 😇🙏
"The Lino Grind" - knee cap must have two points of contact. Awesome video! Love the games of skate.
Guys that is one of the most entertaining games of inline (blade/skate) ever. So much love for you both x
My very first skates were Bauer F3 before those versions came out which were based on the F3. I remember taking off the second wheel to grind and then later using a file to flatten the frame on the inside and installing Scribe grind plates
Rollerblade Troopers VS BAUER ❤️ excellent. Next Time Oxygen Argon Vs Out Poppy
Wanna get some AR 1.0s
Razors Stunt vs 95 Tarmac. Full length plate battle.
Nice idea ! I’m still riding mine Oxygen AR 1.1
They’re unbreakable tank 😁
Salomon st9 vs Oxygen Argon me and my best friend did that in like 99 or 2000.
That was a good one😂✌ enjoy'd it very much...thanks a lot
That was awesome! I love how everyone stop skating to watch! Hahahha! You guys are a trip! 😉🤙
So good, I was smiling and laughing through that whole thing!
Dude where are these amazing outdoor parks. It's sunny, quiet... Looks blissful!
the bauers made me so nostalgic mannn, they were ahead of there time with the soulplates
Bauer frontsides were my 1st aggressive rollerblades. Got them for $30 bucks brand new from Ross...who would've thought that those is what got me started lol
This was amazing fun to watch lol I have no idea what tricks you guys are calling but super fun to watch.
OMG I used to have those Troopers back in the 90s!!!! Chris Edwards skates
Thanks for the video Ricardo, really took me back. I dreamt of owning those Bauers!
Just found some at the thrift store for 11$

I was hoping you would give a review of the vintage skates vs current aggressive skates. I’m still skating on my TRS Lightning’s!
Definitely need to get some CDS Soul Plates on the back of those . Skates were incomplete until they were on back in the day!!!
"oh watch out the glass" - continue to skate the entire session there :D
Brah this was super entertaining!
I always liked the Bauer liner. The leather.
oh man i remember those tricks.. lol i started on roller blades then got soloman st9's (i still have them) 20+ years ago if i could skate again i would.. i was in the top five in NE England before i got hurt
Great video Guys.
I love Amazing vintage skates.
I'll continue skating my "Lightning trs" until they die...
Haha loved every bit of that video, so good!
Omg, these old skates. I started with the roces street. Second was the majestic and then I have the oxygen Argon
I started with roces street then 5th elements
That’s a cute little blue bowl there 😍
Skating in it looks so smooth like why arent there more painted bowls
i remember when bauer pro skates was the shiiit! i skatet with the bauer team alot, cool people. but maaan we did have alot of competion between us m12 users and the bauer bladers.

Hehehehe.. dude I fell hard because of your game.. chris grind reminder ❤ inline 💪🏻🤣
Christ

i laughed so much! thank you guys ;)
My first pair of skates were Rollerblade Lighting and I remember bugging my parents for the tarmac ce and my dad surprised me with troopers then i had oxygen 3.1s my current skates are solo tribe
You 2 are so cute, love these videos! Janice did awesome 🙌🏻
Boom!!!!!!! Awesome
Nice game and by the way I like that you are trying to set a name to what we do, I agree the most correct way in English should be inline skating. Well done keep up with the hard work
Ricardo where can we get a list with pictures of all the names and how to perform them for tricks? There is so many now.
Que incrível Lino 🤘🙏🙏
Muito obrigado Zamba
recado he i used too skate everywhere in the 90's.... have the wheels and bearing made everything go faster?
Thank you for keeping ahressove alive
I think you need to add Chris Haffey to this series ;)
haha, i still have my old pair of "TG (toto ghali) pro model". not sure if i'd describe it as iconic or plain ugly, but they were the most destinct and chunky looking skates ever.
good times!
I think i had those Bauers. What's the model name
Bauer Shifty :)
@@RicardoLino Hmm. Not sure if mine were shiftys. I remember they had that metal grind plate. The boot was all black with some purple, and the liner had some yellow. I think it was their first aggressive skate. I have been able to find pictures. And I'm not sure if they were shiftys
They were called the Bauer Frontside
@@baiaili80
oh wow my friend got the bauers back in the day.
Very cool idea for today's watch.
Bay fam
My first skates were roce streets then 5th elements
First gen fifth element vs majestic 12
I have roces M12 from 90's
Man ricardo you are an awesome skater
Shiw me da way to skating
Thank you ricardo
Btw do you prefer inline skating or aggressive skating
Just want to know
"I would never do that, Id rather step in shit" lmao
Those Chris Edwards skates made topside tricks horrifying on coping
Aaahh, I remember those miserable, non-flat, soulplates on the rollerblades. How I ever landed any topsides, I don't know.
I had those bauers back in the days... so heeeeavy
K2 125s vs Oxygen Argon 1.1
Ultimate Nopro video 🙃
Damn Bauer Frontside. My best buddy had them and in term of durability, there's no match.
Im bidding on Rollerblade TRS Alpha on ebay. I hope i win. I had TRS Details and I miss them
I had those white rollerblades and I can remember how much I hated the un even sole height.
I dont get the game and how the letters turn red but its fun to watch 🤣
What's the difference between the 90s skates and now skates? Curious
RB Troopper, siempre quise tener unos. Solamente me compré unos Boxcar. y los Bauer s9, mi sueño. ¿como que Bryan Bell murio??
Daaamn, I used to love my Trooper hahaha
I just upgraded my Rollerblade Troopers YESTERDAY! Upgraded to the NJ Teams.
So glad you said "I don't play blade". We ride inline skates, not blades haha.
Shows that it's not the skates but the skater that can do the tricks... but also the skates help :) haha
great idea. video could be a lot shorter
it could for sure.. but we wanted to make people feel like they were there..hahaah :) hope you enjoyed...or hope you will when you have time to watch it.. we had sooo much fun filming this..
@@RicardoLino i did enjoy, i had the tarmacs and some friends had the bauers and can definitely relate to that feeling.
Bauer's my first skates
"Christ wasn't with me' hahah
Amo Blade. Quer dizer Inline kkk
Why did you only do grinds
About 22 years ago I bought my first pair of rollerblades they were chocolates $450
My first skates were rollerblade boxcars. Than k2 phattys
Shit I had the boxcars as well!!! Wow what nostalgia... after that I upgraded to the argons.
Feels strange even saying these words again after all these years... still have my argons in the loft.. haven't worn them since 99!
22 years later I'm only spending an extra hundred dollars on rollerblades why were they so expensive back then
Tô me half of those tricks were the same. Haha enjoyed a lot though.
I still ride my 1996 rosse’s
U know the 90s Skates were designed for 90s tricks right? So just fishbones, sitting bulls and UFOs in the next blade game lol
Btw if you need beats check out my stuff. Free to use for skate edits ;P blade on
If you miss a trick it's still their turn.
Never play SKATE with Lino, letters keep going missing.
Wait Brian Bell died? when did this happen? How did this happen?
Apparently, he committed suicide. Same with Matty Mantz
Vila nova de santo andre
E X AC T L Y
Adrien has double i xD inliine
Dude. Your naive. All you got to do is put $20 American in his pocket maybe a pack of smokes and he'll leave you alone.
Bauer, my first good skates... just not this ones.
What? A skateboader letting an inliner wax something, if you did that in any skatepark in Oregon the skateboaders would beat you to death with their skate-tuck. Truth, it has and does happen.
