B-1864 was also the only 747 Combi delivered to China Airlines. That's why the catering truck at 2:05 is loaded through the R2 door instead of the R5 door like a normal 747.
The sad thing about China Airlines Flight 611 is that the flight that was after 611 crashed was supposed to be the last flight of China Airlines’ 747 Classics. One of my friend’s relatives flew on the same plane as China Airlines 611 (B-18255) into Kai Tak in 1996. It is sad that the plane crashed. R.I.P all those who perished in China 611 which was an accident that could have been avoided. May they rest in peace. 😔😔😔
A similar thing happened to korean air in 1987. HL7406, the one which was perished by North Korea's bomb attack in 1987, was the korean air's only remaining boeing 707 passenger jet at that period.
N4522V Was Flight 006. It rolled over and plunged 30,000 ft. experiencing high speeds and g-forces before the captain could recover from the dive, and then diverted to San Francisco International Airport. It could be found here ua-cam.com/video/muJW9Iv8ens/v-deo.html
I requested the Pan American World Airways 747 history (including the N736PA , the first 747 ever hijacked and later destroyed in 1977) RIP First ever 747😔

Oooh interesting!!! I didn't notice that the combis are loaded differently.

I'm not a big photo fan,,but of my favorite airlines, like CI, I'll look all day! Nice compilation!
Thanks! Glad you liked this vid of CI's 747 Classics! I tried compiling pics of them from every year of operation. :DD
I really like the song feels like bring nostalgic to me
1999 to 2002 was the CAL 747 that crashed the rest of 747s went into cargo conversion
The 747-200 is amazing! *Try to change my mind*
So is the b747-100 I like both the same, got a review on my channel of a Geminijets one after Christmas
My favorite FH
The 1996 Photo of that boeing 747 Is literally China Airlines Flight 611 Btw.
Apparently it was one of the few 747 Classics left in CAL's fleet at that time.
@@RetroAvi8or oh my
@@Archive222 also, ca 611 was the last passenger flight of the china airline's 747-200
@@Archive222 and photos between 1999~2002 is also b-18255 because they changed all 747-200 into cargo version in 1999 except b-18255

I'm not a big Plum Blossom fan, I feel like it should be stylized more
Same here. It looks a little bit plain because of the dominant Eurowhite color.
I prefer the Blossom to the retro
Yay thank you
Np! It's finally back.

Nice video but one question is back on the China Airlines 747-100 why do they still have the Taiwan flag?
Thanks! China Airlines' old livery was designed to match the color's of Taiwan's flag.
@@RetroAvi8or Oh okay
CI605 is crash in kai tai airport(hk)

Kai Tak?
"kai tai" means dismantle on Japanese.

You miss flight 006 by China airlines 747SP!
I don't usually include accidents in my Fleet History vids unless it was the first or last aircraft that crashed.

Flight 611 is dead
What's really disappointing is the fact that the aircraft was China Airlines' last 747-200. So sad that it never had a normal retirement.
