What an incredibly tasty and musical bass line! I've always underestimated Paul McCartney when I was growing up. About 15 years ago, when I first moved to Florida, the band I was in requested that I learn "Saw her standing there". Now I never play with a pick so I learned it with my fingers. It was then, that I realized that Paul McCartney was nothing less than a genius as he was able to sing that song while playing that highly intense part. He's such a great bassist - and so are YOU, my friend!
Thanks, man! What I like about Paul is that he’s very melodic and plays bass like a composer. His bass lines have a dialogue with the melody and harmony, adding so much depth to the music. And the fact that he sings at the same time-amazing! Here, I stuck to the original line but added my own interpretation and style to the mix!
@@FaTFingazBass ABSOLUTELY! There are only a few songs that I've covered that I can say are "note-for-note" and "nuance-for-nuance" without my own interpretation. I'd done this to honor the original music and bassist of the time. Everything else has my own spices and interpretation injected. But this is what I find so inspirational about you. Not only do you continue to produce high quality music at an incredible rate, but you always make the music your own. That's respectable, Gal! You're a great player, my friend!
