Walkthrough of MHT Manchester-Boston Regional Airport

Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) is 3 miles / 5 km south of downtown Manchester, New Hampshire and 50 miles / 80 km northeast of downtown Boston, Massachusetts. The airport hosts passenger, cargo and general aviation, serving as a hub for Wiggins Airways, which provides cargo feeder services through Ameriflight with a fleet of 13 Beechcraft 99s. This is not a busy airport, however, as it sees fewer than 100 aircraft movements per day.
MHT rents cars through Avis/Budget, National/Enterprise/Alamo and Hertz/Dollar/Thrifty, with curbside zones for departures and arrivals, as well as for ride shares and offsite services. The airport will be served by 7 airlines to 14 destinations by August 2024 through American (mainline and Eagle), Avelo, Breeze, Sun Country and United Express. Spirit ended regular service May 8, hoping to provide seasonal service for the holidays, while Southwest makes up the bulk of passenger service, mostly between Baltimore, Maryland and Orlando, Florida.
MHT has 5 baggage belts, and the gates are accessible by escalator from the first floor, or by elevator, which also goes to the observation deck. With 14 gates, this is also one of many airports without a “Gate 13.”
