The Hawker bird must be quite a slippery one at low speed, drifting around those turns and waggling about like that. I would have thought the Mustang more prone to disobedience at low speeds. The Merlin and R-2800 really make an interesting harmonization in close formation, like a postwar "Corncob" radial that never got to exist with 18 rows of 6 cylinder banks or something.
