Donating Hair for a Cause: Understanding the Minimum Length Requirement for Hairpieces

To provide children with a comfortable and uniform hairpiece, a minimum length of 16 to 18 inches is required for hair donations. This allows a strong and clean creation of hairpieces with four inches return in the hairpiece. This prevents any spiky or uneven strands, allowing for a sleek and one-length appearance.
If your hair is shorter than the required hair length, we suggest that you grow it out a little longer. Considering that the majority of recipients (around 85 to 90%) are young girls who aspire to have long, straight hair, it is essential to meet their desires and provide them with an empowering experience.
