Greetings, fellow grape geese. Magenta magpies. Purple peacocks. Violet vultures?
Extensive summary of an extensive bureaucracy. “Captain-General” seems like an unfamiliar top rank to me yet makes more sense as a designation the more I think of it and hear of the “intelligence” hierarchy. Curious, the civilian position being immediately subordinate to the top military role of overall command, as well as including that corporate figurehead role of CEO. Such military-civilian melding could be the perpetual cause for internal command and authority squabbling. Although the branch division makes logistical sense, three separate branch directors per planet rather than per system, no matter the planet, seems potentially excessive and overly complicating.
Of course the Analysis branch, being all about information vacuuming-up and hoarding in general, is bloated enough to have appropriated the majority of the budget of the three. After all, spying or listening-in is much more cost effective than abductions, demolitions or assassinations. Comparitively less oversight for Analysis than the other two branches is just as questionable. As benign and harmonious as such bureaucratic systems have always been portrayed in fictional media such expansiveness apparently never precludes just as widespread corruption, in reality.
I appreciated viewing a lot of non-'Mech BattleTech imagery that comprised your video, GDN. Simple, yet I liked the picture of the soldier using bionoculars to sight off-screen with a vehicle behind him at either dawn or dusk, after 5:50. The profile of a Marik in full dress uniform looked good, as did admittedly your final image of a pair of big bots in the midst of snowbound battle.
The Eagle Corps seems duly elite and prioritized for resources. Regarding regional offices being assigned to either another Great House or a specified region of space but not both - I suppose that was determined by the amount of territory within a given swath. Second-to-lastly, Narrator, do feel free to proceed with this subseries as you already have been. This all really fills out the 'living world' of this wider universe outside of the BattleMech cockpits. Thank you very much for your coverage, Captain-General GDN. 'Til next week's continuation, be well and take care, and have a healthy and awesome day.

Mike I saw that image of the soldier with binoculars that to me look almost like the front cover of the soldier from command and conquer firestorm."😃👍

It's good to know that the FWL's leadership is in SAFE hands.

When families began to scatter duirng the civil war, we advised people fleeing the fighting to hide out in in the woods near to the Citadel. You might get picked up by SAFE, its true, but no one would dare start a full scale battle there. So at least you won't get bombed.

Hey GDM great video, I had a thought for a video. You could make a Warhammer humor vid about warhammer ciaphas cain and all the funny, silly things he done and/or his humorous thoughts about situations he has been in or gotten into. I think he is a great character to do a humor vid on.

I might make an actual lore video on him, at some point.

Oh boy analysis branch sure gets a big piece of the budget the First branch of information gathering it's kind of disturbing since they're collecting, so much information from private videos and texts and other different communications, yes you guys the scariest, for there is no true privacy while your eyes on the lookout, also the active analysis branch is the perfect....a good combination to the information
Gathering since it goes hand to hand.the Covert operations Branch eagle core is cool but more my speed better to be the guy who gets into the thick of things then the guy who becoming an information hoarder, the counterintelligence directorate is god send to suspect and eliminate those Anti
Marik posers. Plus the rolls also as a Police force and security agents for the Merik family I" wonder why they're not getting the bigger part of the budget 🤔??," But I know why the part where the intelligence director that got accused of multiple times in the history of despicable Acts of cruelty, that artwork At 12:35 is probably the reason why they never got any evidence." There headquarters The citadel location is a Cool laying in the forest looking like a medieval castle---Which is awesome, because always liked the combination of science fiction with fantasy, when done properly right unlike some of the others I know BattleTech has always done it right. Bunker bunker everywhere's remind me of how in the PC game metal Marines
Were you can set up your Three bunker anywhere on the map, plus a whole battalion of Mech warriors to back to citadel up
Oh boy that place is going to be hard to crack open, also one of tunnels leading to the directly to the director captain general summer residence is a double edged sword if the enemy found out?," Plus their throw their agents into the wind and hope they learn something way learning experience is a brutal process indeed, But is the FWL truly S.A.F.E."😃👍
