  • Took the new Super Guide 22 Extreme out today for it's first run. This is the first 22 foot Micro Draft Skiff made. Equipped with the powerful Yamaha 115 SHO this boat has AMAZING power. The Super Guide 22 Extreme will float in 6 inches and run in 2 inches. When jacked up fully there is nothing below the hull and the prop is up behind the pocket drive. Truly an amazing boat check out our website microdraftboats.com for more details.

Any outboard can get over 5 yards of shallow water at full speed, especially when there is deep water on both the approach and the exit. Run that boat onto a large expanse of 2" deep water, come to a stop, then see what happens. It won't "run" in 2" of water, it WILL traverse it at speed.

Larry why you hating? These boats run crazy shallow don't buy one if you don't like them.

You'll notice that his hull may have brushed bottom but his skeg did not. This bot will probably run in wet mud, because the tunnel would squeeze the water out and shoot it up into the half submerged prop.

      Fact.
My boat (not the same brand) with a tunnel hull and transom mounted low water pickup will almost run in wet grass.
Many people don't realize just HOW skinny boats rigged this way can run.
It takes a Kayak or an Airboat to follow me.
(and I'm pretty sure a Kayak can't do 40+mph. lol)
