If I remove the bin, it says to place a Text+ template in the Master bin, so it must be seeing that the "Snap Captions" bin is there - just no templates in it? Was working just before update from 19.4, so maybe it's a bug in the new update. Anyone else having this issue? Or, is it a me thing (always a strong possibility!)
Thanks for letting me know :)
If you're on the new 19.6 beta, it won't work, it will most likely be working in the next DaVinci Resolve update
@@TheOrsonLord Thank you! Yes, I rolled back to 19.4, and all is good again! I'll await 19.7 before updating resolve again! Thanks for the quick response!!!

Does anyone else have the issue where you go to use one of the templates and the whole video just goes black like it's applying a background?...
yess I am experiencing the same issue.
I have a video directly addressing this, look up black screen glitch in my videos
@@TheOrsonLord ahh thank you will do!
You're probably using MAC and I have Windows... Unfortunately, I don't know how to install this plugin.
It's a pity... I searched the Internet, but without success.
We detail it in the read me file and the first video I made on installing it.
Snap Captions is awesome and save a LOT of time! BUT! I have a problem - Case conversion is not working :(
Has anyone had this problem?
Oh no! Sometimes this happens because the font being used doesn't have capital letters available for it.
@@TheOrsonLord Unfortunately no. Even Arial is not working. Can it be because I use DaVinci 19 beta 2?
@@espada5595 potentially, we haven’t tested Snap Captions for 19 yet.
@@TheOrsonLord I see. Thanks a lot for your answer! Can't wait to see 1.5 :)
sorry but you missed the easiest and best way to save and load templates, just have a snap captions power bin(those are shared for all projects) and copy it the bin to the current project when you want to use it. you can just drag it to the project bins and use it.
You are totally right! real 🤦♂️ that I missed this.
it said it failed to add a track. Why??
Would you be happening to use Resolve 19 Beta? We've seen this issue a few times on that.
We are investigating this and plan to fix it :)
@@TheOrsonLord oh yeah it just fixed when i updated it
why I cant install it bro?
Have you installed Resolve through the mac store by any chance? plugins won't work when installed this way.
@@TheOrsonLord no i installed from Blackmagic
A little while ago lmao like 9 months ago haha
Haha, it's hard to balance the time between my business and UA-cam channel. Thankfully this year, I'm able to dedicate far more time to my UA-cam channel.
Haha. First view

Create Subtitles fro audio is the worst thing about Davinci even in the 19.2b version. Even after Isolating a voice track eleminating every thing but the voice it is only 50% accurate at best. Come on BMD Plz fix it.
Have you tried using lavier microphones? I've had about ~98% accuracy using those mics.
Id second that, my success rate is very high with DR subtitle generator. The only thing it doesnt have perfect is its timing with the words being spoken but the words and spelling are usually spot on
@@ChaseFraser Have you tried using a compressor to suppress unwanted noise?
I usually set it so anything under -20db is reduced in volume. This helps make the transcription more accurate :)
