    Welcome to my video on the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander!
    Debuted in the summer of 2023, the new 2024 Grand Highlander finally arrived to make a great addition to the larger 3-row SUV market. Of course it brings Toyota’s famous easy-to-drive nature, with many of Toyotas user friendly interfaces and button style. Two powertrains; gas and hybrid-max, are available depending on grade level.
    In this video we will cover the exterior, engine and drivetrain, then make our way inside to talk about the space and style in the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander XLE.

    I love your way of pointing out the most selling points and also the similar aspects with the RAV4, that make this impressive car much familiar and popular, and yes of course I'd prefer the separate hard buttons controlling unit of the AC, I feel that it's much easier and durable.

    We just purchased one in this model but in a 7 passenger and it’s wind chill pearl in color. Mine also has a tow pack. I’ve had it just under a month & honestly it’s a great vehicle. We traded my 2019 Camry se because we needed more room with me having my 2 grandsons mon-fri. It’s taking a bit of getting used to being a larger vehicle. But I love it. I definitely recommend this vehicle to anyone wanting more room but not a huge suv. Thank you for this video.

    I've been watching every video I can on this Grand Highlander (GH for short.) I was stunned the other day when I went to a local Toyota dealership and checked out the legroom - I am 6' 1" and I *barely* had enough legroom in the second row sitting behind the driver's seat adjusted for me. I was expecting far more legroom! I went and did the same thing in the 2023 Pilot, and I was actually more comfortable! I guess that perhaps the Pilot chose to allocate more legroom to the 2nd row in exchange for less cargo space behind the 3rd row. At least in part. Has anyone else over 6 feet tall experienced this problem?

  • @katietatey
    @katietatey 10 місяців тому +2

    It really does look like an overgrown Rav4! Looks very nice! I like the door sill badges that light up. The passenger area looks very comfortable, both 2nd and 3rd rows. I don't like the "cockpit" layout quite as much as my Rav4, though. I think the driver's seat view in the Rav4 is just perfect. Agreed about the climate control buttons vs touch screen. I just like the way it's laid out in the Rav a little better. The paint color is really nice and I like the gray interior. One beef I have is that I think they should have given it a unique name, not "Grand Highlander." (I couldn't think of anything good, though.)

  • @lc7192
    @lc7192 10 місяців тому +1

    Brian when you got into and sat down in the left hand 3rd row seat the seat in front of you was slid all the way forward. This allowed some nice leg room for you in the 3rd seat but it would have been cramped for the second row seat seat occupant in front of you. The right second row seat was all the way back and a passenger behind him in the 3rd road had little room for his legs. Maybe an inch more room than the regular Highlander. Also the mileage is nowhere near the 35 mpg city and 35mpg highway in my 4600 lb. Platinum AWD Hybrid Highlander and not as much as the current V6 Highlander. If you need to turbocharge the 4 cylinder to have as much power as the V6 then the engine reliability will suffer due to the heat and friction caused by the turbo. I don’t think that the small extra room in the Grand Highlander is worth the trade off. The black plastic grill is also a big negative as it looks cheap. Just my opinion.
