- From the Director of such "classics" as The Magic Voyage(1992) and Little Big Panda(2011), brings you. Millionaire Dogs. Not a lot is known of this film (not even the English Cast) other then it appeared on Cartoon Network back in the day. Apparently someone uploaded the watermarked copy of the film. So this vid is a non watermarked copy.
Synopsis (from IMDB):The story starts with Chuffie, a dog who is dumped on the side of the road. He meets up with JD, another street dog. While they rest under a bridge, they find a talking parrot named Emmo who has lost his owner. The dogs try and eat Emmo, but in order to save his life, the parrot promises them a new home with his owner, the wealthy Miss Lilly. The two dogs feel right at home at their new mansion, along with Miss Lilly's other pets (all strays): the beautiful Bella, the frisky Velvet, and the guard dog Sherman. Unfortuantely, it doesn't take long for Miss Lilly to "kick the bucket", and the dogs' future is in jeapordy, especially since Miss Lilly's scheaming niece & nephew, Ronnie & Hannie (quite possibly the creepiest cartoons ever created) have had their eyes on the estate for quite some time. When the will reveals that the pets are to inherit the estate (including the mansion and one million dollars!), the twins decide to take matters into their own hands to try and get what they think they deserve. It's up to JD, Chuffie, Emmo, Bella, Sherman, and Velvet to stop the twins. - Комедії

I'll never forget when I had first watched Millionaire Dogs when it premiered on Cartoon Network's Cartoon Theatre and I quite enjoyed watching it myself.
Good times, good times.
The only one thing about it that I find quite odd is when the ending credits end, the song "This Must Be Love" still keeps continuing.
They should've either had the ending credits be longer some more until the song ends or had the song fade when the ending credits end.
Don't you just hate it when people can't make up their minds, especially when it comes to making an animated film?

Thanks for bringing back my childhood. For years I have tried to search for this movie, As a kid I can only remember the ugly twins and the dogs scaring the hell out of them at the end. Even though as an adult I’m rewatching it some of the editing is bad but still Great movie overall.

This thing is one of the most inconsistent things I've ever seen. Sometimes the animation is passable, even good in a few spots, but sometimes it looks like trash. Some voice acting is alright, others make me want to rip off my own ears. An interesting film.

Man I remember renting this film I loved it.
I have this movie on VHS somewhere and used to watch it as a kid. I don't remember it being THIS creepy.
I can say without a doubt though one of the voice actors in this English dub is Jimmy Hibbert (who's playing Chuffie, Emo and Dr Quack among others) His voice is instantly recognizable from his roles in British animation.
I love it when he said I'm coming Bella I'll save you this is just like a romantic movie Damsel in Distress in a grave danger and a hero come save the girl and gets his kiss

@@gamer62589 As I can remember, at 55:24 must be connected with 1:19. However, because this scene seems too violent. It's a reason why this part disappear.
Furthermore at the night scene, the twin used spray and lighter to fight. And that part seems dangerous as well, so it's gone LMAO.

Hilarious plothole to think about- Dogs already won once they got inside the mansion- they have to be off the property(which should have includes the grounds, but eh) for 48 full hours. The timer resets the moment they got back in. Just something I found funny.
I remember this being on a VHS tape I once had...I think it was after a similarly styled movie about a lion who went on a hot air balloon and landed in the land of Oz...

Well that was certainly a bit of a strange movie! As I'm sure a lot of us can attest to, I first saw this movie back on Cartoon Network in 2004...dang, 2004. I was a mere SIX years old then, and this website didn't exist!
Nearly twenty years later, this movie decently holds up, but I think we can all agree that the English voice acting and direction is close to AWFUL, and I feel like there were some moments where the characters opened their mouths to speak, despite remaining quiet. Was some dialogue censored from the original German?
The animation style is rather interesting...for some reason, it makes me think of a blend of Oliver & Company and Sonic Underground. Oliver & Company makes sense as that is set in NYC just as this movie clearly is...but I don't know WHAT is making me think of Sonic Underground, other than the fact they were both made in 1999.
Before rewatching this, I distinctly remembered the part with the weird, curved, and twisty roads, the line "48 hours", the dogs crying over Ms. Lilly's death, and those UGLY AF twins. Quite possibly the creepiest cartoon characters indeed, though I do get a SLIGHT Jessie & James vibe off of them.
Does their car just fly naturally?
The whole bit of the dogs getting captured and rescued was WAY shorter than I remembered, as it only took up fifteen of the eighty minutes of this movie...even if it comes off as padding, I think it should've been extended and elaborated on. What was Emmo doing in a helicopter?
Can we say, lazy credits? It's verbatim just the credits from German, so who knows who did the English voices. My personal guess for Velvet's English VA is the late Jodie Forrest, as Velvet sort of sounds like Sissi from Code Lyoko; another foreign production Cartoon Network kids are familiar with.
Another upside to this movie is its soundtrack and score. While it's weird that the credits stop before the song, the main theme "This Must Be Love" is a great song, and the movie's overall score is good.
TL;DR I'd say this movie is somewhere between a 6.8/10 or a 7.4/10. Not bad, but a little shoddy

I think this is the first time I've seen a theatrically-released hand-drawn animated movie that's *BROKEN*
It's crazy how at times it actually looks pretty good but then you start noticing a *LOT* of animation errors and cheap shortcuts that make it look downright amateur.

@TimeLordMaster108 It's honestly kind of funny to me since Dr. Quack and John Fairview were the only characters in the film that I could recognize Hibbert's voice, I'm honestly starting to wonder if Hibbert also voiced J.D. since he does sound a bit like Fairview, but who do you think voiced the other characters?
@TimeLordMaster108 Interesting, also, I honestly want to believe Celine Dion sang 1000 Butterflies, but that along with whoever voiced in the film does raise the question on how much of the budget was blown on the English version

I'm actually curious how many differences there are in the German dub compared to the English dub, though I feel like it would be quite risky for somebody to upload it in full, especially given Universal owns the film there since Polygram Filmed Entertainment distributed the movie.
Though for the record, Warner Bros did release the US DVD via their distribution deal with Lightyear Video, and they didn't care that the movie was uploaded in full (though it's amusing Warner distributed the US DVD since it was first released in the US in 2003 when it was shown on Cartoon Network's Cartoon Theater)
@TimeLordMaster108 btw, I also read that the English version cut out a scene where Hannie pulls a Ken from Bee Movie and makes a makeshift flamethrower using a lighter and a can of hairspray when J.D. tries to scare her and Ronnie with a lion costume to avoid getting a PG certificate from the BBFC, is that actually true? Though to be honest I don't get why Lightyear Video's DVD release (which is the source of this upload) cuts off the part where J.D. proceeds to beat Dr. Quack with a sausage bag if the UK release kept it in
