My son called me late one night and was crying. He's going through something no 26 year old should have to go through. This was the first time I had even heard of Jelly Roll. We sat on the phone listening to this and I cried with him. My son felt like he wasn't worth saving. Thank you Jelly Roll for helping him see he is worth saving.
JELLY ROLL NEEDS JESUS CHRIST TO SAVE HIM AND THEN HE WILL BE MORE POPULAR...HIS SONGS ARE NOT PRODUCTIVE OR MOTIVATIONAL .... THEY ARE ALL ABOUT DOOM AND GLOOM AND IF JELLY ROLL REALLY WANTED CHANGE HE WOULD CHANGE... IT'S ALL ABOUT CHOICES..RESIST THE DEVIL 👿 🔥😈 AND HE WILL FLEE...JOHN 15 :5 ⬅️ JEREMIAH 33:3 ⬅️... IT'S ALL ABOUT SELFISHNESS 😈 AND STUBBORNS👿AND PRIDE👿 AND REBELLION 😈...GOD HELPS ANYONE WHO REALLY WANTS HELP TO CHANGE...
If there's any artist I believe with my whole heart is under rated, it's jelly roll. The bottom, nothing left at all, creature, enemy Please continue the adventure. Its an experience. He sings, he raps, but each one borrows your heart and soul and takes it for a drive.
Everything he does is awesome..yes hes from Tennessee and he loves classic country, rap, southern rock, and etc..The man is genuine as hell and deserves the recognition that he is finally receiving.
You would be hard pressed to find anyone who is more transparent with his lyrics, feelings and his life, what he sings and raps about is his pure self which makes his music so much more relatable and music that punches you in the soul.
The tone his voice is beautiful and this song gave my soul a shake and made me emotional, I've teared up with this song numerous times but it captivates me and I feel every word, knowing every word he sings in this is from his heart gives it so much meaning, his eyes tell the story along with his voice, you can see the sadness and pain, he is Amazing
When JR stops and turns to the camera when singing, when night sky missing the moon and no shooting stars to wish upon. It’s like he is talking right too your soul.
I'm in my 60's had two brothers commit suicide about 20 years apart and the tears start to flow when I hear this song. It's a song that hits home like no other I've ever heard.
Jellyroll is an AMAZING artist, such a deep rooted painful history. It's truly magnificent to hear him break the cycle and preserve such a beautiful soul.
Yes, he has absolutely lived it. One of the things that makes Jelly’s music so phenomenal is that his songs are personal, raw and true to who he is and/or was. An admitted former drug dealer & felon who was determined to turn his life around when he became a father, Jason Deford’s story is a testament to what hard work and perseverance can do. He’s unapologetically himself and that’s refreshing in a world full of plastic people.
when the grand ole opry asks you to come sing, when shinedown asks you to come sing ...you're something special to this world we call music. like so many others have said ...he is a under rated, not so quiet secret that the world at large should hear and enjoy
I am def not ashamed to admit I shed tears on this one... This song describes my life to a T... Damn thanks for reacting to this. It made me really look back on my life... Liked and def subbed.
I have listened to this song at least 20 times in the past 24 hours. One of the best songs ever imo and is relatable to so many people, including myself.
this song gets me to lose my shit nearly every time.... this is the type of song that you feel personally attacked as people say now a days... but it surfaces everything you try so hard to bury right to the top and it takes everything you have to shove it back down
Very nice reaction video I appreciate how you did it, pausing when you did--speaking for as little as you did, speaking with genuine feeling as you are listening to the song thank you so much.
If jelly roll was played on the radio he would have millions of fans and probably not a dry eye . He sings like he wrote the song about your life and struggles very strong lyrics
With a voice of gravel and whiskey, Jelly was placed on this earth with a purpose. We are all blessed that he survived his earlier years and reaches out to help soothe our souls.
Jelly Roll is a beast, check his Fall in the Fall or Can't go Home track both feature Struggle Jennings, or maybe his live version of Only/Love the Heartless, 2 songs he mixed in 1. Also gotta recommend Struggle Jennings - God We Need You Now as it's the best song in years imo. Everyone can feel Jelly Rolls pain when he raps/sings, very relatable no matter who.
Who doesn't like this song??? Really it's a great song. Great reaction. Jelly Roll puts out so many hits I love his stuff. Waylon and Willie with Struggle are the best albums
Jelly Roll is so amazing. Please react to Jelly Roll “creature” ft Tech nine and Krizz Kaliko or Jelly Roll fall in the fall both will give you a good mix of singling and rapping from him and are a great place to start. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
My son sent me this song a few months before he overdosed. I beg of you all If you feel helpless ask someone. Even a stranger in a store so many people are kind and you are worth it! I 💞
This comment hit me almost as hard as this song did when I first heard it back when it came out.... Coming from a recovering IV drug user and knowing actually what it's like to feel so broken that you feel like you need to apologize for being alive, and also know what it's like to lose someone to addiction (my best friend ODed on bags he got thru me and I found out the day I went to tell my ex-bf I was pregnant. I said I was pregnant and he responded with " *friends name* is dead.")... I am so sorry for your lose. And I know you have literally heard that from every single person you have talked to since but I deeply feel that I need to apologize to you on his behalf. Idk if it's the guilt over what I put my own mother thru or the feeling like I can relate to your son because I know how I felt at my lowest and I can just imagine how I would feel at the thought of my mother having to go thru that pain. Or blecause I have talked to the mother's of the friends I lost and just through text alone there broken hearts were so loud. and I know how much my friends loved their moms and it was almost like I could feel how much it hurt my friends and how guilty they felt seeing their moms so devastated. Please hold on to ever single good memory of him that you have because that's all he wants you to remember. That and that he's ok now...
Jelly roll use to be a drug dealer and a trap dealer, trap artist, and gangster. He's actually a from nashville I think anitoch. Check out upchurch, Adam calhoun, and chase matthew
Jelly Roll has been there and his goal is to help the addicted and incarcerated. I have watched many interviews of Jelly Roll and he seems to be this really awesome guy . He started with rap and rock and is now going country . He actually spends his own money ( not fundraising ) to try and help juveniles through music and other venues before they end up in prison.
I love Jelly and this song. Check the band Rise Among Rivals. My buddy Dave that works for me is the lead singer you'd be surprised they are really good.
Jelly roll is a older rapper that had a very bad addiction to drugs. And did a lot of shit. And it fucked him up and this is his music thru his recovery.
This is so complex, its a love song to the girl that truly loved him(makes me want to be that girl), its an anthem to the disenfranchised as a Mother, having being sent this video by a mentally struggling child. It just breaks me
New sub, here for Jellyroll & rap! Jellyroll - "Echoes" or "A Beautiful Disaster / Suicide " (its uploaded under both names, beautiful disaster for music video, suicide for lyric video)

Silver lining. I’m still here and getting better. Life goes on. And my kids don’t have to go on without their dad just yet. It’s hard to think past those moments but they do end ❤️🩹
I swear Jelly Roll is criminally underrated
one of the best..
Highlight the word “criminally”
No doubt. He has been in the game for 20+ years dropping missiles. He should have got big time recognition a long azz time ago. He is really talented.
This, 100% This.
You damn right He's underrated !
I love when people go in completely blind to a Jelly track. The shock is palpable. He's a beast.
You are so right! He’s the best,
So right! I’ve got more of his stuff lined up for the future.
Waa scrolling thinking same!
My son called me late one night and was crying. He's going through something no 26 year old should have to go through. This was the first time I had even heard of Jelly Roll. I read body language and let me say... this hit you personally... it's ok to cry my dude.
This is one of the songs that does it for me too
There are many of us out here that this song has helped through hard times. I just wish I was one of them.
How is this man not more popular by now? Every song he touches is amazing
Great last name! 😁
JELLY ROLL NEEDS JESUS CHRIST TO SAVE HIM AND THEN HE WILL BE MORE POPULAR...HIS SONGS ARE NOT PRODUCTIVE OR MOTIVATIONAL .... join the Jelly Roll journey! He has so much soul and is underrated
The only thing wrong with this song is that it stopped. Touches my heart every time.
If there's any artist I believe with my whole heart is under rated, it's jelly roll.
The bottom, nothing left at all, creature, enemy
Please continue the adventure. Its an experience. He sings, he raps, but each one borrows your heart and soul and takes it for a drive.
I agree 💯
He is super nice as is his wife❤ they both have written be back on IG. True gems.
Everything he does is awesome..yes hes from Tennessee and he loves classic country, rap, southern rock, and etc..The man is genuine as hell and deserves the recognition that he is finally receiving.
The man has deep roots down here. These guys are just real. When you sign the dotted line you become a puppet and they know this. They truly are outlaws.
You would be hard pressed to find anyone who is more transparent with his lyrics, feelings and his life, what he sings and raps about is his pure self which makes his music so much more relatable and music that punches you in the soul.
The video “glittter” by jelly and struggle jennings is great

Some songs you hear in your heart you feel in your soul
When I first heard the song I didn’t know what to expect
And by the end I was in tears it hit way harder than I could’ve expected
The tone his voice is beautiful and this song gave my soul a shake and made me emotional, I've teared up with this song numerous times but it captivates me and I feel every word, knowing every word he sings in this is from his heart gives it so much meaning, his eyes tell the story along with his voice, you can see the sadness and pain, he is Amazing

Jelly does it all with his voice. From free style raps to something like this. Range for days
He's singing about his life BEFORE he was famous and this song is one that has and will continue to change lives.
this song gets me to lose my shit nearly every time.... this is the type of song that you feel personally attacked as people say now a days... but it surfaces everything you try so hard to bury right to the top and it takes everything you have to shove it back down
Honestly your reaction is my favourite. I love seeing his words voice & sound reached your soul.
