    Very detailed but you dropped out warmup. When I warm up heavy I want to wake up my nervous system, so I unrack and half rep, and very long pause near or at max hold on the bar. I don't say lockout as I don't see the arms actually locking out at max lift. Then one lift, and long pause at max. Then several reps. You also didn't mention scheduling workout days. I find I need one day between benching if I want to go to max. Two days in a row on the second I have to drop the wt. If I wait over 3 days I am week, need one day to wake up my CNS and two days later go to max. This is different than deadlift that takes 3 days between lifts to get to max.

    I got a pretty big chest and in 21 years I never benched barbell or dumbbells never have never will useless exercise
