If you love island life, on the west cost of peninsular Malaysia you should also go to Penang. It is quite developed though but has fantastic street food culture. There is a national park on Bahang Bay.
There is also Pangkor Island in the state of Perak. Less developed and less touristy.

Welcome to Langkawi, Malaysia. Its a duty free island so imported goods are super cheap. For breakfast, try roti canai you'll love it. Try also our national dish nasi lemak with teh tarik(pulled sweet tea).

Hitchhike is not encouraged in Malaysia for safety reason.. and because public transportation is easy to get. You might find it difficult for people to stop their vehicles. But kind Malaysians will always stop if you need them.

Hi I hope you can relax in your guest house,I've been to Langkawi many times I used to stay in a place called rainbow lodge but it looks like your place is in the similar area down a small lane surrounded by Fields and wild life and a beach five minutes away what more could you ask for 😊 good luck.

Not to be missed would be: Melaka for history, east coast for beautiful beaches and food! Sabah for fhe Orang Utan, and beautiful people and islands- really not to be missed!, and Sarawak- i oarticular love kayaking along tge river at Semedang.

We love the food here! Roti Canai is one of our favourite things! 😍
Take some time to explore the wildlife in Langkawi. There're a species of monkey that is black in colour and has a white patch on their eyes are supposed to be only exclusively found on this island. They're beautiful Hornbill birds everywhere and not to mention the huge Eagle population there. Be prepared to put on some pounds, too, while you're in Malaysia. Lol!😂

Basicly people in Southern Thailand is a same race with malaysian, but with different language.. I know, its weird to hear a same race have completely different language hahahaha
Things on both side of the border are super similar! We love both! ✨🙌🏼✨

We were here for not even a full day and forced ourselves not to do anything so that we could come and experience everything at once! 😊
@SilkyRonTheRoad malaysia is equal size to Vietnam and philippines. Even 3 months won't be enough.
We know but it seems like most people spend a short amount of time here and we would like to try and see as much as possible! 😊
@SilkyRonTheRoad there is a difference between expat and backpackers. Expat countries are thailand, Philippines and Malaysia. Backpackers usually will visit Malaysia on a shorter period as our currency is not dirt cheap.
@@keangwooichoo6138 and then somewhere in between is us! 😁 we try to see the most authentic version of each country for the maximum length of visa.
