Hi Monika! I'm wishing you the best on your medical school journey :D For someone who hasn't taken biochemistry (I have taken orgo II), what MCAT prep course would you recommend online?
I would say having a strong foundation in biochem is key to doing well in the bio/biochem section. From my experience, MCAT prep companies don't really do a good job of teaching content. They will more focus on test taking strategies. I would say if you can't take a biochem class before taking the MCAT, use the Kaplan biochem books and khan academy videos to self-learn biochem. And then UWorld to test your knowledge/do practice questions. And when you identify topics that you are struggling with go back and fill in the gaps in knowledge. Hope this helps and good luck!!
@@monikabapna Thank you so much! I have Kaplan books and plan to use Khan Academy as well! I heard that Princeton prep teaches some of the content pretty well? Would you know anything about that? Thank you for all the tips.
Keep a list of the ones that you see most often and focus on those! You aren't going to remember them all but better to know a few like the back of your hand.
Your video couldn't have come at a better time for me! Thank you!
