Wow.. That is inspiring. Congratulations Emily, on the perfect score !! and Thank you Gianluca for making this video :) I wanted to ask you both if you know any good ways to deal with ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) for MCAT. It would be huge help for me. Thank you !
Good Job on the MCAT score! However, I can't take the advise too trustful. The reason is because Emily, is most likely very intelligent with multiple standard deviation above the avg individuals. To score 510 on Kap and 507+ on Next Step should put you at 514-516 on the AAMC FL. For an average joe like myself, I find it hard to believe I can score high but we shall try. Very proud and happy for you though Emily!
Focusing on quantity over quality is what put me in a retake position. Anki cards, uworld, practice exams the amount of “progress” I was making was meaningless if I was still high variance on certain sections or question types.
wow I think we are completely different people! I studied a total of 4 weeks, did not write down a single thing for notes, did zero content review, too scared to review my practice exams, and strictly used Anki and Uworld exclusively! landed somewhere 52X for my score. I guess that goes to show different strokes for different folks. Congrats on the perfect score! I cant even imagine what it must feel like to get a perfect Cars section
I think that's a great thing to highlight :) Previously, I spoke with 3 other 528 scorers for my other video on thew topic. Emily's plan was much different than theirs. It just goes to show that there's more than 1 way to do it 💪
Hey Emily, I think you quickly mentioned that you wrote down certain notes for the b/b sections. Did you write down any notes for the any other section and how detailed were they?
For CP I wrote down a couple equations maybe, and for CARS - I wrote the difficulty and maybe thesis of the passage if it was confusing, and for PS I tried to write down explanations for why I thought the answer was such (just because there was extra time, and I wanted to not make silly mistakes :))
@@gaoemily did you skim CARS to rank it easy, medium, and hard and then go back to do each of the passages in order of difficulty? Or did you just make a note while doing the passage/answering questions so you could go back and review in the end
Hey Emily, I am also from the Bay Area and a first year at UCLA. I was wondering if you could share some of the extracurricular activities you did at UCLA. Since there are so many and sometimes you don't really hear all the different ones due to the sheer amount. I'm also curious which professor you took for Biochem because it sounded like it created a solid foundation for the MCAT or suggestions on who I should take.

Hi! Shoot me an email, and I can answer in more depth.
Which books should one use during the undergrad years to get the proper foundation....before doing a course, or practice tests?
so I can't use only 2 materials to smash this MCAT?
Can someone please give a link to the 300 page document for the psyc/soc
I don’t have the link but just look up MCATbros 300 page. It should show you a website and you should find it there in free resources

Congratulations on your success, but there is no such thing as the 100th percentile.
It means no one scored better than you. It’s how they present the test. Don’t nerd out of particulars.
