Hello, happy friday. I understand, my husband never tasted alcohol in his life, not one drop. However, I did use to drink about 20 yrs ago, It just never liked me, so I just stopped, no no alcoholic never. I do agree about food and pantry. I am not a trend keeper either; THIFTING IS MY JAM. We do use Purex and laundry beads and dryer sheets and Lysol or Clorox laundry sanitizer. I do use vinegar in our towels when they are washing. Thanks for sharing your tips. We did not buy expensive homeschool curriculum. I either wrote my own, used free online sources or used curriculum and just bought new workbooks for it. We don't normally buy new books, but books from library book sales and thrift stores or places like Ebay or Etsy.
Thank you for great ideas for saving money! It's funny you said you could "butcher" your own hair at no expense; I said the same thing years ago. My hair is also curly and now it's white and curly and frizzy, so I have to put product on it! Do you have a video on something natural to make home smell good instead of the store bought products that are way to expensive? Thanks again!
I don't have a video on that, but that's a great idea! I will think about how to share some ideas. I had a lot of fun making this video so I'm happy it has been useful to others!
I also do pretty much the same thing with most of what you do. Great post!
That sounds about right! 😂

Good tip! We did this for years also when I was doing a more Charlotte Mason approach.
I do many of the same things you talked about! So much money wasted. We don’t drink alcoholic drinks either.
I think it's kind of fun to see all the new ways we learn year after year to cut costs. I really do hate wasting money 😂
