What an absolutely phenomenal instructor.
The Instructor is flawless in delivery.
When I was a kid, I built a model of a P-51D. Used to run around the house dropping bombs on legos. Best time ever as a kid.
i did so as well:)
The era of WW2, truly the Greatest Generation!!!!!Manufacturing the greatest of the day!!!!We were (are) amazing!!!
My all-time favorite single engine airplane!!!
mine as well, also because of the big impacts it had in WW2 as the only fighter who could escort the bombers all the way(drop tanks) and home:) Max.DK.
I envy these guys...
so ooooohh cool
great flight top job all round
@3:02 -- "4897V roger, continue straight-in runway six, Mustangs departing one five." I've heard a lot of cockpit radio calls from the tower in my time, but it would be it would an absolute thrill to get that one! :-)
This has to be the most beautiful aircraft in the history of flight!
P-51 is effortless.
Talk about sticking the landing, that was beautiful.
Wow , THE BEST video for Mustang...
oh Thanxxx!
YOU DESERVE all appreciation for this upload
EXACTLY...how it sounded when John took me for my orientation ride 12 Feb 2013!
Very Nice, well done by all. Thank you for sharing..!
always welcome bro!
This P51 Video was amazing. It had me pushing the rudders. Gently pulling the stick back. Good video work.
I once climbed a barded wired fence two days in a row at a flight weekend in Sweden just to see a Mustang up close..I even got to speak to the pilot! My hands were swollen and stiff from the fence for a week.
Man ya could have used the Gate ??? O.0
Worth it!
Nailed that landing!!! Amazing video and great flight!! Wow! thank you for sharing!
always welcome:)
Pete Ruppert Photography where was this at? We have no flying mustangs here in Reno.
What a dream!
My Dad said one of the happiest days of his life was watching a P38 Lighting, chase and destroy a Betty bomber. He was on Destroyers
Nice bro! well done
what a great instructor!
truu!
What an amazing landing!!!
yeah I was happy with this landing - not every landing is like this:)
That looked absolutely fantastic fun, on a lovely day, in a great place and with a beautiful aeroplane. Congratulations on very well executed maneuvers with what seemed like a pretty good and confidence inspiring instructor. Happy flying!
best instructor I've heard!
truu!
Wonderful, I got a sense of what it is like to fly an airplane, the P 51 Mustang! Thank You! Peter Brooks.
Wow this video has been here since 2015 still getting great comments that is amazing. But then the video is outstanding! Flying outstanding! Landing amazing, video angles from all different directions. The P51 is certainly one of my favorite airplane! There is nothing like the sound of that engine!
I really enjoyed every minute of this video, so refreshing...
Thank you my friend, God Bless you!
oh Thanxxx! GOD bless you more!!
That's a damn good landing especially from the back seat!
That is a GREAT aerobatics lesson! Thanks!!
Really a fantastic video...I took lessons in a Cessna 150 aerobatic years ago..Jim Lichty
Been there and done it ! Came over from England five years ago for a 60th birthday treat to myself.
What a great experiences from pulling up in the car park to leaving. All my family were made welcome and I couldn't believe that we could all just walk around the place, look and touch the planes without someone shouting at us !
My flight was almost the same as this one, with the other mustang in formation. Had the same pilot,Steve, and he was just so good.
Fantastic and would say to everyone you must do it ( if you can afford it). Altho it is superb value for money when you talk everything into account.
'I'll be back'
you have a nice story, Peter, thanx for sharing..!!
I enjoyed your ride ! ....Congrats!------P-51 ! Cadillac of the Sky !
My boy is 11, and going for his 4th flying lesson this week... now he’s seen this, he wants to start doing loops and barrel rolls!
this teacher is awesome, love his stoke
thanx!
Is Pet Ruppert the teacher?
Dustina I'm so happy you made it home safely
Always, always, always wanted to fly! Ended up a trucker. :-( And of course, always wanted to ride in a Mustang. For 35 minutes, I had a big stupid grin on my face. Thank you for letting me ride along too. God speed!
come on buddy, trucker are heroes for us here in Germany, check out my little son he loves to play with trucks..:

Pete Ruppert Photography I saw the video. Loved your son. Very cute. I could almost understand him. My second language is Dutch. Used to live in Nederland. Have kids there, and now grandkids. By the way, where did you have that P-51 flight? I really would like to just ride in one once. Totziens!
I once had a dutch girlfriend:) very sweet..!
the flight was in Kissimee Fl. with 'Stallion 51'

I knew it wasn't Southern California with all those clouds, or the midwest. Had to be Fla.! Many thanks!
awesome stuff right here !
Very good instructor!!!!!, I really enjoyed the video. Felt like I was flying the P51. I really envy the student for getting a chance to fly the P51, always been my favorite plane and still is.
Excellent video. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. You did a bloody good job!!!! Ive had the honour of flying in the back seat of a Mustang but it wasnt duel control so i didnt get a chance to drive. Maybe one day.
No words !! Except maybe AWESOME !! lol.
thanx, Max!
Solid flight ! looks like a dream to fly
it really is a dream bro!
Before I die, I want to fly a Mustang. Then I can die with a smile on my face.
yes, do so!
Hell, I’ll be happy just to sit it while its flying
Get on with it.
Flew with "Homer" a couple years ago at Stallion 51, awesome instructor, incredible experience, do it.
More fun than one should be allowed to have - damn I'm envious!
Nice.. not quite the same, but did similar in a DeHavilland Chipmunk. Love the Mustang, but my bucket list is a Spitfire flight
Incredible and impressive video too thank you so much for your videos and channel too greatly appreciate it too...
thanx:)
Flying is 99% sheer boredom followed by 1% sheer terror
Been There, Done That 😀😁
Great ! Loved every minute.
thanx man!
As an 18 year old man going through pilot training currently I cannot express how incredibly jealous I am great flying, great bird, great video, that you so much for sharing this with us
It’s been 4 years now. Did you ever get your private pilot’s license?
badass!
What a gorgeous plane. Imagine the day when civilians can buy an old F15 to fly around. Awesome video bro! Ty for sharing:)
always welcome:)
Landed like a boss!
:)
Love the sound.
V12 RR Merling, 27 liters
P-51D Mustang, absolute angel. I started building scale models of these planes in childhood and in my teens lol. I gotta see one up close and touch the prop one day. Hopefully. Awesome pilot and instructor!
I swear if I were given the controls to a P-51, I'd be G.O.N.E
One of the best, and possibly THE best videos I've ever seen on UA-cam. Thanks for taking the time and effort to produce and post it!
wow!
what an honor!
thanx so much bro!!
btw: indeed, took me like 14days for editing and stuff:)
Greased it in pretty good.
So cool!

Great video flying the legendary mustang. This must be a unique experience! I flew the T-6 with Mr. Larmore (by the way, a true gentlemen) and had the best experience of my life! Hope to fly the mustang one day

I want to drive a Mustang too! Epic!

Obviously Steve Larmore is a hell of a pilot-instructor. And one can easily see he's at home riding his outstanding P-51 Mustang
wow, thanks for the share, I'm jealous would love to pilot a p51 someday
Bravo Zulu! Well-done!
thanx bro!
Excellent video thanks! Really good instructor and fantastic flight
thanx, it really is as you say - unfortunately i can't repeat due to lag of financial resources..
Can you imagine.
I live close to Chino California.."Planes of Fame" and while I was out there last wednesday working, someone pulled out a beautiful P-51 and did a test run up. It's not every day I get to see this. You did a great job Pete, definitely subscribing. Thanks
Very good instructor.
While I'm sure it was terrifying, and as the record shows, dangerous, it must have been enormous fun to fly those machines into combat
Very Cool....It looked like you had a great time flying the Mustang. I guess my favorite WWII and Korean War aircraft is the F4U Corsair......but the P-51 is a beautiful airplane as well. God Bless!
Right on the numbers - nice man . . .
thanx bro!
Nice
Beautiful video.
oh thanxxx!
I so much enjoyed both of your videos. Thank You. Lea L. now has two P-51d"s? Excellent! You did great!
thank you, always welcome, I wish you a great start into the new week!
Excellent video! Nice flying!
thanx!
A dream to fly a P-51 like a boss.
actually yes - the smile of your life:)
Great camera positions and subsequent editing make this a great visualization. Thumbs up!
oh thank you very much!
As a PP who's never been in a P-51 ...you have no idea what this video did for me ...bring on more ...I subscribed.
happy to hear this bro! GOD bless you!
I had the good fortune of flying that bird, money well spent!
very cool
thanx bro!
I'm not a pilot but I had to try it. Stallion 51 is a great place to get a flight and a little stick time. The staff and instructor pilots do everything possible to make it a great experience. Nothing compares to flight maneuvers in a P-51!
well - if you're not a pilot, do some lessons 1st on regular small aircafts .. then you'll have the smile of your life in your face after trying he Mustang:)
sick landing man
At least once in his live, a man should have a ride in a P51. Great footage, Sir.
..and drove a corvette once, Sir:)
:o can I fly a Mustang too? Pretty please? :D
That was a nice landing. And such a nice teacher! I know I wouldn't get nervous with him teaching me. Dad made me so nervous when he was teaching me how to drive x )
My favorite plane Have a radio controlled one. Video has a great flight instructor
yes indeed!
that is super awesome. Soon ill do my flight
yeah go for it bro!
Excellent Video!
thanxxx
Incredible instructor and man, you’re a natural! That landing was amazing.

@@madundderleutnant You’re welcome! I hope to fly one of these some day! This video provides great inspiration.
@@madundderleutnant who is the instructor?
good stuff :D
thanx bro!
cool mate
o thanxxx
Flying a Mustang ... what's more American than that?
So jealous ...
Everyday English with Byron starting a war?
My Gosh Not winning the war? ;)
The Americans do not start wars. They finish them.
Snow Crest Don't be funny. America is the biggest warmonger there ever was on this earth.
So say you...........
Thanks for the reply. There used to be a TF51 here in the Calgary Alberta Canada area, owned by a fellow by the name of Neil McClain. The story on that bird was always that it had actually come from Bolivia. There were a couple of other P51's around here too, as well as a Corsair that had been owned by a fellow named Schafhausen( I think) in the Seattle area, and had been used in the filming of the old Blacksheep Squadron TV series.
:)
Lucky dudes!
:))
“Is there anything you wanna do?” Um yeah, full throat and hear her roar!
Greased it.
