This is my uncle, and he is with me now in my room! He is amazed at the amount of people that is interested in the bands music, and sends his regards to everybody that has been enquiring about him!! :D
Nexus9Mw tell your uncle that I really Love this song, always. Hoping to find a a vinyl or a cd of this group. Thank god for you tube. One of all time and always want to hear from time to time.
Really good thanks, we're having fun playing together again this time with no pressure. Don't play that often in fact but I think we can still put on a show, Mick still likes to get into a crowd and we're not pissing around with synthesisers anymore. We have enough material for an album now and pretty soon we'll be in to record it. Watch this space!
The video you're talking about was for the oxford road show in 1983, we were called negatives in colour then. It's just in the last month gone onto youtube. The small video clip seen on the tube was featured on the very first programme of the tube, That was caught in possession, our first single, and it was set to photographs again using normanby park as a backdrop. I'd love to see that again but it seems we've lost it.
If you see Mick, Rolly, or Kev give them my regards, best wishes from Wally Aylott I also wasn't the drummer for Lulu kiss me dead, but did have some fun with the guys in early 80's Scunthorpe...
this is a very good sound, and if the manager of Lulu hadn`t lost the video and sent it to the record comopany the night the band were on the Tube, then the sky would have been the limit Listen to those cellos-brilliant good structure to the song, who wrote it?BETTER THAN MAGAZINE, JOY DIVISION OR THE BUZZCOCKS OR ANYONE FROM THAT ERA. Brilliant middle 8and the lyrics are genious, and that guitar sound absolutely the bestYEARS AHEAD OF ITS TIME, EVEN THRU THESE CRAPPY HEADPHONES:`I K
This has been renamed :`don`t walkaway` by the reformed band, now called `negattives in Colour, check out the `negatives in Colour` vids on You tube also this is a brilliant track, those cellos, and the killer chorus, brilliant guitar sound, evocative bass, this is the band that should have madeit bigger than Ultravox, Midge Ure eat your heart out, luckily they`ve reformed, better than ever, with a great new guitar sound
IDisregard what I wrote about the manager of Lulu ...etc I`m sure my memory has got all that wrong, what do I know?I wasn`t in the band, apologies to all

Great one! It's a shame it's not "Heart and Soul" in youtube. It's my favourite from this band.
