How do you keep your cool when you're being threatened like that? I personally couldn't help but retaliate with violence.

Because I ride since I was 8 years I would get them of their horses, believe me they would fly. Just get out of the kicking range and make a noise like breaking cans or firecrackers. I promise you they will have to go home. The horse always finds home. That's only fair, they are using then as weapons. And horses are striking with their front feet. These scum has no knowledge about horses. When one of you gets kicked in the head with these horse shoes you are dead. That's no joke and the, know it.
AND this primitive whatever, I will not call him a human is disgusting.

I heard rumors that this Hunt is in real trouble financially and might not survive much longer? Can anyone comment on that? I heard that more and more land owners don't want them on their land, they have fewer supporters, fewer riders, go out less frequently all the time and can't properly pay their staff. Hopefully it is true. I am not completely anti-hunting and am a big believer in all kinds of tradition but fox hunting doesn't seem very sporting to say the least.

Rumours have substance. After 144 years the hunt kennels have closed, huntsman retired and half hounds given away. Rest being boarded at Eridge kennels near Lewes. They claim they will now be a once a week hunting pack under new huntsman. Apart from loss of hunt Country, one of the internal reasons given to members was 'The very clever use of social media by our adversaries.' Perhaps they were hoisted by their own petard!

@@Wildshield Perhaps I am only getting one side of the story but ha ha ha to them. The people involved with that hunt appear to be extraordinarily nasty and vulgar and its hard to feel sorry for them. Heaven forbid they hunt humans. I think it would be kind of fun being a human hunt quarry for riders and hounds! I'd do that in place of a marathon for a good weekend of exercise!
