A woman stole her mom's car at 2 am in the morning. The store was closed. She wanted cigarettes and beer. You see her headlights on camera pass once slowly. You see the headlights turn then rapidly approaching running at full speed this nice silver town car into the gas station doors. She reverses hits them again. The lock never broke but one of the doors spun flipped up (still locked) she proceeded to come in grabbing imaginary male parts and actually tip toeing and sneaking when she just ran a car through a gas station multiple times and the alarm is going off. She grabs 2 24 packs of beer. Comes back and she steadily with both heads grabbing the newport shorts from above the counter and from the advertisement display. Does not take anything else. She tries to open the register and she literally hit every button on it except for the right one. If you ever watched a cartoon from back in the day you would know this. "NO SALE." If she looked under the register she would have gotten the change box. $300. But she didn't. But she opened up the cabinet saw a bag and assumed it was a purse and took it. This belonged to my (supposedly former meth addict co worker. A 60 year old woman.) It was her makeup bag with her name embroided on it. All her makeup. When she opened she would do her makeup. She would not shut up about it. Literally asking the officers coming as customers to find out if they found her makeup bag and telling every damn customer about it. I got tired of people asking me what happened. What does it look like happened. Good grief. Every single bit of gossip and rumors started at that store. I swear. State trooper's wife was incredibly rude to me. Turned out he had an affair with the lady that worked my shift a few years before. However... She was intoxicated from pills ran into a ditch and I was dating the guy that lived at the house in front of it. Went and got her pulled and sent on her way and never said a word. She LOVED me after that. She thought for sure I was going to be up there telling everyone and I didn't. When her husband had an affair she found out by walking in and people talking about it. She was pretty damn cool. She was a notary and notarized a paper for my kids enrollment for school. Her dad was a mechanic got me tires for my car and put them on. Then put 4 in the back as spares. 8 tires for free. She and her EX state trooper husband even had drinks and sat with us when we went to the neighborhood bar.

He also runs a UA-cam channel that likely earns him a pretty decent portion of his overall income. Most pawn shops don't have a UA-cam channel. To spend 10 minutes with a customer for the sake of recording/uploading a video that will earn him revenue seems like a good business decision.

In my younger days I constantly hit pawn shops for good deals and sold them excess stuff. That all ended when a detective called me in for an interrogation claiming one of my buys was stolen… and had my comprehensive pawn sales record going back a few years saying half of my sales came back stolen. Luckily nothing happened… but never again.

I use to bang meth, heroin, coke, bath salts....anything you could melt down. I sold everything I had ever earned and was living in the woods, with nothing, no shoes, no ID.... but I did a year long program with no outside contact, no phone, no tv, no phone calls.... I’ve now been sober 20 months on December 10th 2020. I have nice car, I live in a condo, and have a good job. I don’t say this to brag, but to anyone struggling... it IS possible... but you have to want it, and grind for it. I promise anyone can get sober!

That's not her "struggling with addiction" -- that's her tweaking and showing no signs of wanting to fight her demons. And as a former addict myself, I can tell you tweaking like that doesn't mean she's in a state of remorse but a stage euphoria. Yeah, she's still trying to pull some shit with the pawn shop, but her mannerisms are indicative of an addict under the influence with no remorse rather than a remorseful addict silently screaming for help.
I'm sorry if I sound cynical and God knows we need more kind souls like you than pessimistic people like myself, but again, I just didn't see any inclination of remorse, regret or shame in any part of her presentation. Maybe one day she'll hit at least one of those marks, but she's not there yet in this video. But like you, I genuinely hope she gets help and is able to stay clean.

People who steal cell phones are legitimately the dumbest of criminals. I had forgotten my iPhone at a gas station and it got taken. It took me 5 hours to get it back. ONLY because I was trying to do the right thing and call the police but they weren’t taking it seriously. So I just followed the find my phone app and I caught him. He was on a bike and I was in a car. I nearly ran him over. He freaked out immediately that he gave me not only my phone but another stolen phone. I returned the other stolen phone and the elderly lady was so grateful because all of her bank passwords and every other passwords were all in that phone. So she has forgotten every password. Crazy how God works. But she was almost in tears when I returned it to her. When I told her how the guy looked. She actually told me that she actually helped him out with money that same day. Goes to show you how ungrateful some people can be.
