The alarming thing is the news media here in New Zealand keep referring to Kellie-Jay Keen as an anti-trans activist. The media also give air to the views of the trans-activists, and without challenging their violent hateful on-line rhetoric.
One of our two TV news channels, News Hub, blurred out Kellie-Jay's hand at one point to suggest that she made a far right gesture. I saw the original- she was merely fidgiting with her zipper tag.

The MSM were reporting on this before KJKeen arrived in NZ - in hindsight, MSM seemed to be laying the ground for all this hateful response on the subsequent violent hate filled day in Auckland. They lied about KJK, and stirred up hate toward the concerned Let Women Speak women.

That brief experience of thinking you triggered it is likely common among people who follow pitible movements. And even so with the shooter being trans, they tried to leverage the narrative into making the scumbag a trans floyd under the guise of trans self defense. It didn’t work, but man it shows how bad they want and need a sacrificial lamb to advance the dialectic. I’m sure the most zealous in the cult were actually gleeful with the chance, especially since I’ve seen some of the twitter brigade celebrate the shooter. I was so grateful for the comparison between therapists and the wizard behind the curtain. For a long time, I was convinced that I needed to seek therapy for some deeply embedded issues from my childhood that were impacting my ability to bond with my parents and sisters, and subsequently my husband. After years of thinking I couldn’t overcome these hang-ups on my own, I came to realize that’s definitely not true and I definitely don’t need the help of a therapist.
I think therapy can be helpful in certain circumstances but it’s also a major grift.

I can say that I have been suggested therapy at various stages in my life, and cooperated with therapists - but it never was meaningful. For one thing, therapy seemed navel-gazing. I would, for example, want to discuss the fact that I feel depressed about the thought of doing this same monotonous job for 20 more years. Then the therapist wants me to describe my relationship with my mother and father - rather than help me do anything to make my life more meaningful.
For another, it never feel like they understood me or helped me with any new ideas I haven't considered before. In the end, I ascribed it to me not being neurotypical, so what may work to reprogram someone else's brain won't work for mine, the same way you can't use Windows patches on Linux.

@tallard666 ... It is not an issue with the psychiatry industry, as a whole.. it is with the trans activist cult members who are psychiatrists. They have made a one for one trade off of the Hippocratic Oath for Trans Activist cult ideology. This is why they now call themselves "gender affirming", when this is 100% antithetical to the entire reason they BECAME psychiatrists in the first place! They went from examination of WHY a person is having mental or psychological issues / trauma and seeking to correct where that person has gone astray from society / health to ..."You say you are born in the wrong body, eh? Well, l will refer you to someone who can get you help with that". That "patient" (sucker, in that therapists mind), is then sent to Planned Parent hood or other for new pronouns and HRT. Sadly, most were indoctrinated with the trans activist cult and NEVER had to sell the Hippocratic Oath, they just sold themselves down the river of the trans activist cult.

It just occurred to me after listening to Stella talk about marketing estrogen & testosterone in the 90's. My great aunt was put on hormone replacement post menopause through Kaiser, after being on this protocol for over 30 years and doing well they ripped them away and let her go cold turkey into full menopause in her late 80's (sometime in the 2000's). There was some study that determined they were harmful and caused more harm (cancer) than good -- Kaiser company-wide refused to prescribe them. It's a real eye-opener that trans people get huge doses of cross-sex hormones (way more than a normal person's level) in a body that was not designed that way. What's the rationale? I would think HRT for menopause and cross hormone therapy are more alike than different as far as harmful long term consequences.

    • @gg_rider
      @gg_rider Рік тому +1

Imo, Great Aunt wasn't served by Kaiser helping her reduce her cancer risk at age 80, but that's how large corporate, communist, and govt bureaucracies typically do things. One flat rule, no common sense exceptions.
Same for opioids maybe, when they are addictive but some people _need_ them.
Anyhow, I agree with the rest of your comment.

I was on full-time HRT for 5 years to help me cope with unusually large swings and variations in my oestrogen levels. The treatment saved my sanity, allowing me to progress through menopause with more comfort and fewer nights of terror where I thought I was about to die.
Thank goodness for modern medicine. My mother wasn’t so lucky and had a terrible time during her own menopause when HRT hadn’t been developed, eventually having a complete nervous breakdown.

So many nuggets of gold in this discussion. My favorite is the idea of promoting the trend away from medical treatments, which will immediately remove much of the danger of gender ideology, and we can question "gender identity" - a religious notion - later. My other favorite is the idea of removing the medical interventions from insurance because they are merely cosmetic - and should be treated as such (which is more honest). Along with that, I appreciate the idea that, if insurance does cover gender transition, it must also cover secondary complications and every aspect of detransition. I can't wait to read your book, Stella, and look forward to Eliza's eventual book. Benjamin, I've been listening to you for years now, and really appreciate your commitment to exposing truth in the gender world. I hope the Genspect conference is a resounding success!

In very limited cases, breast reduction surgery is covered. But a senior woman ('cis' woman to be explicit), who has a thinning vaginal wall and so cannot have sex at all without severe pain, the estrogen treatments are not offered and must be pain out of pocket. So the situation is legitimate issues performing one's natural sex roles are not covered but the extremes required for sex transition is. This is insanity.

Its extremely messy, depraved , and cut throat. All sides are fighting, and all positions being used. This is what at the base line of all things "human" really is about. Great talk!!
As a CASA you are trained to look at the entire picture of a child's life. You are trained to help children slow down, weigh options, consider healthiest choices and try out long term thinking. Trans says these values are irrelevant. No, they are the heart of nurture, shelter, and care.

      @georginawhitby1320 Рік тому +2

Stella is giving lip service to those ideas , but then ultimately claims outrageously that bans in pediatric " affirmation" protocols are supposedly "extreme ". Genspect exists for double messaging , and for fully owning the " middle ground " in ways favourable to the trans industry, and more particularly for those who have other reasons for wanting to keep child sterilization and developmental disruption within " respectable" options . Stella is a convincing actor , but she is playing a roll in a full narrative control game . She is not to be mistaken for genuine voices like Helen Joyce etc.
Do rewatch the Genspect film critically if you are unsure about this. Notice the double messaging. It is only critical of early intervention/ medical transition if you want to read it that way. It also provides a parallel reassurance narrative ( basically " your regrets won't be that bad, if you have them) to young people wanting that message , and makes a point of curating a very unrepresentatively unproblematic set of outcomes .
Genspect's star lineup of mostly transactivists ( including at one stage a well known peddler of early trans , recast in an intersex impersonator role ) should also give pause , especially given some still advise very early transition.

Interesting question, but we all can predict the future of a society, particularly the trans activist cult, that goes as far away as possible to AVOID the objective reality that trans is a mental / psychological illness. To compound it MUCH further, we are seeing most of the mainstream news outlets, focusing their headlines on the concerns of "misgendering" the shooter! The priorities of the left have gone so catastrophically south, that the very discussion of why things like this happen, are verboten. Society blames the gun... they blame the police... they blame politicians and lawmakers, hell... their are many who are blaming DW, and supporting those who blame, but GROSSLY misleading or outright lying coverage.

For anyone in government and law enforcement to think it is acceptable for the tantrums these adult activists are exhibiting to go unaddressed is the problem. Why would we put up with these disrespectful activities and behavior? And yet, when people choose to picket and protest outside a library in Calgary having drag queen story hour the city makes a law against protesting outside the venue where the event is happening. And yet a lady praying on the street outside an abortion clinic in the UK is arrested? Hypocrisy rules. What is acceptable for those with one view is not acceptable for those with the opposing view. Is that how any democracy is supposed to work? And closing mental health hospitals and addiction treatment centers and allowing mentally ill and addicted individuals to live on the streets is another appalling act of hypocrisy from those who claim to be so concerned with social justice. The burden is on the police and government to prevent violence. In the Skokie Case when we had Nazis marching in Illinois (I hate Illinois Nazis), SCOTUS said it was the job of the government to protect people from the violence of those protesting the event.

My prediction, for quite some time now, is that in that 5~10 years, we will see a MASSIVE wave of lawsuits and other legal actions, following an equal number of those who were unable to "continue on" in this life. If society _does_ collapse, and I am 95% convinced it will do so, then survival instincts will take over and indeed it will eliminate the entire concern of transition, as finding food becomes a bit more important!

Stella 's Genspect org talks out of both sides of their mouth , engaging in a lot of double messaging , including employing Transactivists who STILL try to justify pediatric transition. They are the very convincing , more respectable arm of controlled opposition in this area , and I mean that in a formal sense of their organisation being setup for that purpose. It's a very convincing part of a " full spectrum dominance " tactic to control every single position on the topic. They used to also employ another well known trans activist acting a new fictitious intersex persona.
Watch their glossy documentary critically , and you will notice the double messaging. It's only critical of medical transition to the degree that the audience member wants to read it that way. It also works as false reassurance for those wanting that message. The choice of unusually good outcome cases also shakes the overall impact.
They actually use VERY similar messaging to that once used by many who went on to be key players in the affirmation model . It's double messaging.
I think Sasha A is very genuine though.

I think the situation with poor research and inadequate follow up in psychiatry and gender medicine hits exactly on the unknown nature of psychological afflictions, and how we ‘treat’ them, which in the main, is inadequately.
Mad in America is a great resource for the wicked story of psychiatry, and its well documented toxic enmeshment with pharma.

But hearing this tonight about the insurance thing has just convinced me that the approach is unhelpful, like telling a child whose hand is at the fire. It's ok if you burn your self we can always fix it. Insurance companies will not be penalized. It will all happen butchery and more butchery in the name of fixing will be paid for on another policy win win that's how capitalist insurance works. Hike up the premiums. Hard core is the way to go say no end of and protect children period.

Very perceptive and accurate Luis Magill. Genspect are infact a controlled opposition operation ( in the full meaning of that phrase ). They are engaged in capturing the pushback to minimise the damage to certain objectives , and to become the supposed " middle voice ". The transactivist employees are a bit more obvious , especially those actively advising on early transition, but O Mally fully acts her role too .
Watch their glossy documentary critically , and notice the double messaging. It only seems critical if you want to read it that way. It simultaneously offer false reassurance about early transition for the younger audience. And the choice of unrepresentatively successful outcomes supports the second messaging very well.

How could any rational, truth-valuing society be OK with any MORE than this?!? Laws need to be based on EVIDENCE, not on "but it FEEELS true, to me!!".
And how can any free society have laws that compel us all that "you must PRETEND TO BELIEVE that this man (based on empirical, biological EVIDENCE) is a somehow 'REALLY a woman'"?!?
"Gender" is a religious claim- A belief taken as "the REAL Truth", on faith, despite insufficient evidence. And on where (according to belivers) accepting the belief makes you "more moral", and rejecting it makes you "immoral/less moral".
Society, and especially the law/govt needs to TREAT "gender" the same way we treat other religions- " Believe it, if you want. But you can't demand OTHERS believe. (And you can't use it basis to itreversably harm children- The kid can make THEIR OWN choice, in adulthood)".

Not sure with a Delta is between when this was recorded and when this was uploaded.
But the recent events in Nashville have educated us exactly what trans "activists" is mean when they use the term genocide.
On Twitter there is no shortage of people who identify as a trans activists and being on the left who are not only blaming the victims of the mass shooting on the victims but there are some who are saying there should be more violence.
    Not good for society.
All so many on the left seem to be arguing that there should be better background checks with psychological tests. But if your goal is to prevent somebody with no medical history from purchasing a gun would that not mean that you would have to classify someone being transgender as a red flag to prevent them from purchasing a firearm?
I don't think people on the left thought this one out.
They claim that this is a problem with the mental health crisis also seem to hit the mark as the shooter at the very least was receiving testosterone meaning that she saw at least one mental health specialist (especially if gender-confirming propaganda is be believed).
