Chris was truly one of a kind! Honest and generous to a fault completely Loyal and devoted to his wife and family. And he had a wild and crazy side too. Chris was the kind of guy the was all in when it came to life! He always gave his all, and left nothing undone. I was fortunate enough to meet Chris and spent some time watching him ride broncs. And back wile his singing career was confined to the Rideo world, Chris took part in a Rodeo School in Colorado Springd Colorado, and we both were invited to a BBQ and party, along with about a hundred+ people, when someone yell out " sing us a song Chis," and he did! I got to spend a little time listening to his songs and singing some harmonies with him for about an hour. I knew then that this guy was really special. And the longer I knew him, the more I realized he belonged on a stage in the spotlight! I miss you, Chris! You were definitely one of the GOOD GUYS!
That is so awesome, and I am quite jealous! I did get to see him once, back in 1999, at the Eastern States Exposition in Springfield, Mass. I drove 4 1/2 hours after work to get there...and spent the whole afternoon waiting for the first show(I worked third shift at the time). Saw the show (was great), but the meet and greet was only for the later show...so missed out on that, but it was a once in a lifetime chance for me, and it was awesome! Drove back home and went to work...long day!
