A few of my teammates and I have competed in tournaments using the first person camera for years. It all comes down to preference, and I personally cannot use any 3rd person camera and be competitive with it. On another note, it's more appealing in my opinion. The stiffness of the bikes and riders in this game is so bad, that not seeing your own makes the gameplay much more enjoyable. One of those sad but true things about Milestone MX/SX games.

The biggest downfall to using first person is that you can't tell what's going on around you. It often leads to me turning down into people that are trying to make a move on the inside of me.

As a first person rider, you develop a 6th sense on where people are, but I hate it when people just bulldoze you and you never see it coming. Also I did suggest a first person series for ps4, but people can't learn it in 1 week. It would have taken people too long to master. By that time people would be over that idea. I remmember the whipping in the corners back in the Mxgp2 days, but it was really tricky (it was used to cut the corner or to let someone miss you when they would take you out)

@@MBF120 It is in all the ride and motogp games from milestone, using the right stick to free look. Not in these bc right stick is obviously rider weight. What they could do is put in a command like if u hold up on the dpad u can then use the right analog to free look. Battlefield 4 had that mechanic in it while flying helicopters
The manual transmission tip has not helped out all. How are you supposed to know what gear to be in? How are you supposed to know when to downshift? It makes no sense. I follow the rpm, but that's not enough to know. Its impossible. Ive spent 10 hours and cant do manual

I don’t think this technique is what they put in the game but it’s kinda similar. Just flick the right stick opposite of the direction you’re turning and use the left stick to turn like you normally would. You’ll probably fall a lot at first but you’ll know when you get it because the bike digs in and you fly out of the corner with a lot of speed. I don’t use it that much but I was playing online today and battling some guy and used it on the last turn to fly past him because I had nothing to lose and hit it perfectly. Just don’t over do it and only flick the right stick like 10-30%

How do you fix the factory team logo glitch in career mode? I signed with monster energy Kawasaki but my bike still has stock graphics, I only have the jersey and pants that match the factory team.
I've been playing this game for hours and I just cant figure out why the steering is so bad. You either over steer or understeer. There should be a steering sensitivity option. Also the crash sensitivity is ridiculous. I went back and played the MES 1 and everything in the physics is way better. I don't know why they can't just add more content and better graphics than change the physics. I am finding this game frustrating and unplayable. And why did they only use a couple stadiums with multiple races for career mode? Milestone does such a great job improving on MOTO GP every year, but MES is going backwards. I'll go back to playing MES 1 it was a way better game! Milestone! Please contact me! I'm not a programmer but I can show you how to make a stellar game everyone will love!!!
Yeah I agree. To be honest it’s not that great of a game you can’t steer for shit like you said , also over jumping and coming up short. The only fun part of the game is free mode when you race it’s not fun
Do you know why you can't put aftermarket pipes on the RM250? I see you can put exhausts on the 125s, but I only have one 250 (2-stroke) and disappointed because there are no exhaust options for the Suzuki, i suspect the same for the others
Is this game worth getting if you have supercross4? I don’t really play multiplayer since I’m just getting into these games but I’m enjoying it definitely a challenge especially the preloading for me it’s the hardest part especially when you have to do it coming out of corners I always ruin my trajectory trying to preload and just fly off the track into the stands😂😂 thank god Its not real life idk how many people especially track personnel I would have killed by now with my bike flying into them 🤕😅
Honestly man i dont think it's worth the upgrade. The game basically has the exact same physics as 4, but feels slightly worse in my opinion. Supercross 5 offers a little more content so far tho, thats the only plus for it

I ride in first person view only and I smoke most people so you're statement of saying use the other views so you can see and know where your rear tire is tells me you have never raced a bike before and guessing have almost no experience at all on one even in the game when I'm racing in first person I have a very good idea of where my rear tire is and will be
Nah. Last time I rode was 2018 I had a 2014 KTM 250 that I would ride at my cousin's track because he was a professional motocross racer in Canada for a while. I blew 3rd gear in my bike then ended up selling it aha

You can actually scrub by pressing outward at the same time on both sticks at the the top of the jump to scrub or in th air to whip.
