i understand your points, and i disagree, but W video still. To me skateboarding is not necessarily a sport but that doesn't mean there can't be competition. Like there's competitive ice skating and I'd def say that's a form of expression like an art rather than a sport. I think its okay for it to be in the Olympics but I do understand the gatekeeping of skateboarding and keeping it core especially with all the collaborations and selling out of the community. all this to say I still think skateboarding having competition or being in the Olympics is okay cause it doesn't take away from the fact that you can still have it as a form of expression and to be honest who are we to judge peoples reasoning for skateboarding like I get its your opinion and its okay for you to not like certain reasons for why people skate. And i just wanted to say no hate, just wanted to speak my piece on the convo i guess lol.
