Lindelani Bramley gent scents is a hater. But on my skin the Parfum is more polished. The edt says look at me. The parfum says dont look at me but (look at me) lol
I didn’t like sauvage at all until i tested Parfum, it’s so much more subtle, mature and refined. They perfected the formula with this one! If you like an out of the shower scent and want to carry that freshness with you the whole day, you’re gonna love this one, verry soapy, mature and classy. Signature scent for me alongside bleu de chanel edp.
Amazing refinement & longevity! Could smell it on my skin after 24H AND a shower! Unbelievable! The same day I had tried both the parfum, the EDT and the EDP - and the Parfum was so much longer lasting, as well as more deeply nuanced. You gotta love how it projects without being aggressive/peppery
I actually love the parfum version. It smells amazing classy and refined. On spray on my chest and it works even in an office with fragrance free policy. I can smell it on myself and I m glad it sits so close to my skin. Outside the office I go for 4-5 sprays or for another fragrance which projects more 😃

This is by far my favorite of the line. It’s more subtle and creamy. I even get a leather note hiding in the back. Great for close encounters. Love it!
I love this flanker. Idk why people/reviewers hated it so much. U definitely deserve more clout. On clothes this projects beastly
I couldn’t have said it better myself. Great take on this new release. One hundred percent worth getting your nose on. Taking that scent profile and fine tuning it really makes this the best of the three. I find Sauvage Parfum more to my taste and look forward to rocking it frequently. This is a compliment magnet through and through.

It's a nice subtle change from the EDP but the projection is very poor. Becomes a skin scent within an hour.
Silvio Dante as you know everyone has different skin chemistry as I have no problem with the Parfum. At this point I have been wearing this off and on for almost three weeks. I easily get 6-8 hours of projection with above average sillage. Overdone yes, but moving forward I would pick the Parfum over the prior releases for sure. Hope you didn’t blind buy

I personally sprayed the perfume on my skin and clothing and I agree it's an amazing scent. And to my nose I think it's the nicest of the three it's still has terrible sillage and became a Skin sent on me also within an hour. If it had the performance and longevity of its predecessors it would become my new signature scent. It's too bad that it just doesn't.
I have all 3 and to me the Parfum is the best.
But it just doesn't project. It lasts a long time but no one can smell it unless they touch their nose to the skin / cloth. It's very good but what's the point if no one can smell it.

@@SteveHubbardGuitar Yeah. I've tried it for a couple of weeks. I have the edp, Parfum and the elixir. They all smell amazing but the Parfum is such a disappointment. It lasts a long time but it just doesn't project far enough. It stays too close to the skin. Give Elixir a try instead of the Parfum or buy a tester a try it yourself for a few weeks.
I really like the way you review the perfumes, very simple.
I had a problem with dior sauvage, i liked the scent but it was just too harsh. I'm excited for this new release, if it's good I'll definitely buy it because sauvage is an all year fragrance so probably can be suitable in fall or winter

Yes sir I got rid of my edt cause it made my girl sick and bought several backup bottles of edp in case it's ever reformulated. Sampled the parfum, prefer the edp.

The edt and edp were way too loud for my liking. They just smack you right in the face. I personally like that the Parfum is more subtle and smoother and sticks closer to the skin. The Parfum also has the best smell, I love the the added orange and incense!

Very smooth and a rich blended fragrance to the point where u can surprisingly go nose blind. While this perfum has a lower projection it's Sneaky Good performance and luxurious scent compensates for it. Great Review
I don’t understand how other prominent reviewers are saying it has absolutely no projection and longevity? I understand skin chemistry plays a part but it’s like you guys are talking about two completely different fragrances.

So far for me after trying it two times it lasts and projects very well, so I really dont understand what these few reviews trying to "troll" also follow up commenters after seeing those reviews.
Haven’t try it but heard Sebastian at Smelling Great channel....panned it and he is always positive . He said this version was a pass since differences were slight And If you have the others no real reason for this one. To me it sounds like a money grab.
Great vid.... I have all 3.... EDT & EDP are definitely more pronounced, than the PARFUM. The Parfum is nice & smooth (still strong enough)...but nice&smooth

Test first. I do not believe the parfum is worth owning if you already own the EDT and EDP. I tested it side by side with the EDP, and the EDP outperformed the parfum. Just saying. Test first.

@@muntster I tested sauvage parfum and I'm very disappointed , it pretty much is poor on every level. How can dior and Francois Demachy who have given such classics as homme parfum, Fahrenheit parfum and the excellent eau sauvage parfum then churn out this? I'm well disappointed and I'm actually a fan of the EDT and edp 👎oh well
@@MaxForti hi max taking into consideration that Dior and Francois demachy have given us such classics as homme parfum, Fahrenheit parfum and the excellent eau sauvage parfum then sauvage parfum is a let down I'm affraid, I expected a parfum that's the DNA of its predecessors to the next magical level with an enhanced performance not a skin scent with nothing new added. So u guess I will pass on this one which is a shame as u had been so looking forward to its release being a fan of its predecessors 👎

Well, so many hates on this new version. I just ordered mine and watching all the reviews and read not good comments toward it, makes me feel a bit disapointed to order this, but hopefully it works on me.

I think the hype has encouraged strong opinions, people feel quite strongly about sauvage anyway but this has taken it to the next level. I own and frequently wear the EDP. Tried this on Saturday and liked it. Didn't project as far but as well as being deeper felt it was stronger.
I preferred it to both EDP and EDT but my wife did not, to much wood in the base for her
Its a weak version of the edt without the metalic note. More expensive, less longevity. Plus you will still smell like 80% of fragrance wearing men. I was hugely disappointed. Still upset people if you spray too much though.
Crap longevity and sillage. Dior are milking this range, watered down, steer clear!

This isn't true at all, people hype the EDTs longevity way too much, it doesn't perform anywhere near as good as people say. I have sprayed Sauvage EDT on my left hand and Dylan Blue on my other, and DB outperformed Sauvage by a few hours.
I have parfum and edt side by side, PARUM IS WAY STRONGER
I put my nose on it recently... I fell in love, but I still think EDP is the best of the 3. Great review!
Just got a 5ml decant. Sprayed 5 times, asked my wife what she thought (she's brutally honest) she liked it a lot. I left went to the grocery store and was stopped by a family who all wanted to know what I was wearing, the thing is by this time I couldn't smell it on myself but apparently others could! I was able to get a good deal so I pulled the trigger and got the 100ml. Thanks for the great review as always.

I hated at least one of the previous versions, but I will try this one.
Ordered it from Dior's website and it came with a travel size bottle. Used the travel size bottle and applied a generous amount. It smelled great at first then noticed the projection suffered. I couldn't smell it on me at all. Now I'll be returning it since it's unopened. I don't recommend.
The EDT give headache. The EDP have a oriental vibe that turns it so boring and old, specially because of the Star anis. I stay with CoolSpray, more fresh and youthful. The only cons about the last is the sprayer: difficult to control.
Great review my girlfreindd favourite is sauvage! I have the EDT And am purchasing the parfum now so expensive hope it is good!

Hey, Mr. Max! I don't mean to troll on your channel by any means, but I have to respectfully disagree with you about Dior Sauvage Parfum. I have grown to like the EDT over time. But I have begun to believe that that with the release of all of the flankerss of Sauvage that Dior has made Sauvage gradually worse. IMO there's nothing in the composition of this that justifies that risible price tag. A strong red light for me.
I never liked the EDT, either on me or on others. I cannot stand it. I like the Parfum. It's overpriced though.

This is getting a lot of bad reviews regarding performance; I personally get great performance. The projection bubble doesn’t quite have a large radius, but the fullness is there, as well as longevity, and the sillage trail definitely lasts. Love it or hate it, i guess. (Just like it’s two predecessors)

Great video as always, I'm right behind you and couldn't agree more that I feel this is the best of the 3.
It's more refined and dare I say a little more mature. FULLER but by no means IN YOUR FACE, which for me is a good thing.
It lasts 8 + hours on me, pushes 2-3hrs, and the sillage is well you know Sauvage,😊 but smoother.
All in all I personally feel this is best of the bunch.

I've been wearing it for about a month now and I will have to say it's not as good as the EDP.. it doesn't project as well as the EDP it's more of a skin scent. And doesn't last as well.

Hey Max. I have tried out de parfum Edition and I must admit it smells amazing. Butt projection on this one is terrible becomes skin sent within an hour and within three to four you can't even really smell it. And ironically enough that was with three full sprays. I'm curious Cutlass of other people not just reviewers I found this to also be the case ? I wonder if there is a quality control issue between batches or they're not lending the batches up well enough so that all bottles have the equal potency ?? I would love for this to last as long as you have stated because if it did this would also become my signature scent !!
I was testing this for a gift... and I could smell it the next day on the cuff of my hoodie. Maybe it lasts longer on clothes!!! Do both!!!
I got this on Saturday , wore it today in the heat and I got 8 hours, couldn't smell it on me but that could've been olfactory fatigue, but this one works for me, the original didn't

Sits really close to the skin and has almost no projection! But I do agree It's a very nice scent much better than the other two and I love that orange vibe!!! but tbh performance is really poor especially for a parfum!
Parfum is not a big difference. I'll stick with EDP.

I bought it because I liked it more than EDT and EDP. But unfortunately, after one hour, it just disappeared of my skin!!!! The worst longevity I have ever met on a fragrance!!! Disappointed!!!!

I like the smell but have very poor performance.
Smelled it at Macy's. Absolutely NOT impressed. It has a smooth but blurry smell of the EDT. I don't think this is a compliment magnet. EDP still wins over. I'm passing on this.

Smells amazing, for sure but no one can smell it. Spray it on the clothes coz it will project more. Lasts a long time but as I said, no one can smell it around you and so no one is going to complement you for how good you smell.
I have all 3 and like the eau de Parfum best.

Completely disagree with everything said here... Sauvage Parfum is less mature than the edt. The edt has a spicy smell to it which has been completely removed from the Parfum. The Parfum is not creamy at all but is very citrusy like many other generic mens fragrances. I'd say Sauvage Parfum is more for younger men in their teens and early 20'ies.
parfum is for men, edt is for kids who need attention, parfum performance is enough on my skin, edp is great balanced also+
Seems like this one is getting polar opposite reviews. Interesting. I never cared for the original.
I don't care much for the Sauvage DNA either. That said, if I were to own just one, I would go for the parfum just barely over the EDP due it being a smoother composition. However, its performance (especially for a parfum) is disappointing, both EDT and EDP outperform it in all categories, hence the backlash. Plus, it really does not add enough to the original DNA to warrent owning if you already have the others. For me, I will happily stick with Versace Dylan Blue.

There is something about this that reminds me of baby powder (or lotion) or maybe talcum powder.
I wasted my MONEY,This is Coolade in a BOTTLE,poor PERFORMANCE & Sillage, SKIN scent in 20 mins,NO DISRESPECT, but Overall a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT !!!
I got a solid 4 or 5hours of performance so not quite sure on the critiques about it having weak performance , initial spray is overwhelming almost unpleasant just alot of strong notes all smash my nose at once but seems to settle into a creamy complex bitter orange with a middle eastern vibe . Pleasant and more bold and individual to its predecessors....butttt...over priced for me ultimately I regret the purchase paying really top end designer or even entry level niche prices for something that Is pretty average when compared to scents in this price bracket . Still on my skin and to my nose EDT smells like baby products mixed with lemon juice and alcohol so this is an improvement
sounds like you got a free bottle....this shit might as well have been a bar of speed stick bc you cant smell it without digging your nose in to your skin...even then it just smells like the other two late in the dry down..if you have the EDT or the EDP you are good....save your money.

Everyone is complaining about the performance and the fact that it it doesn't have a reason to even exist in the Sauvage lineup! Your review was way too positive to be believable. it is simply garbage. I bought it 5-6 hours ago without knowing it's not the same as edp. It is shameful for Dior in fact it is simply bullshit. the worst perfume, not worth 25 dollars
I Will stick to EDP, really lasts on my skin easily above 8 hours. EDT would be great but those fuckers changed the original formula, EDT now is a lame poor performance fragrance
