I was informed by someone who had been corrected on the Jaca pronunciation so just going off what they had been told 🤞 I am pretty sure it's correct epsnwhen you think of names that begin with J in Spain like Jesus pronounced Heysus
I’m going to the Pyrenees for my 3rd time at the end of this month, from Italy. Looking forward to exploring the Atlantic portion north of Pamplona, last 2 times I mostly rode in the bottom half.
Ah exciting. Hope you have the best weather. We had on that trip a couple of days later so Day 2, 3, 4 will have some spectacular scenery. Have a great trip mate and ride safe. Cheers. Billy
Hi mate. Thanks for watching and your comments. Day 2 coming this week with 3 other so to follow that. Rain, snow and sunny skies to come. On my Tenere i will stick to soft luggage but for touring on road with the GSA hard cases, I am a convert, i never thought I would be. Cheers. Billy
Jaca is a wonderful place lots of eating and drinking places and your only a few kms away from the N260. This is always our first stop off be fore the trans Pyrenees N260 remember to stay on the old road and enjoy the Grotto.😊👍
Hi mate, thanks for watching! Totally agree, a great place for a stop over. Met some other riders and was a super night. We did ride the N260 for part of the trip and it did not disappoint. My mate I was riding with said it was the best road he had ridden and he has done some of the spectacular Swiss roads and passes, so praise indeed. Cheers Billy
Day 1 is a little bit motorway heavy but the other 4 days were awesome. Tour will be about roads as well as destinations/landscape. Twisties yes but not interested in a to b in the fastest time. Not for everyone but enjoying the road as much as the destination and landscape is important to me. That is the experience I want to share thanks for watching and your comments. Cheers. Billy
@@BillysBikeAdventures Subscribed last night, got the ferry booked again for next June, done most of the roads in the Pyrenees over the years but taking new guys with me so should be exciting. Keep the videos coming. Cheers
Hi Tony. I understand but I am planning a paid tour there for riders next year for those that want to come. I spent a lot of time researching an amazing trip so am looking at ways to make my gpx files for trips such as these available for purchase as well. Thanks for watching. Billy
Which port did you arrive at and speak French to a Spaniard, at least he didnt correct you so means he probably hears this often lol, i ask bc Bilbao to Jaca is around 3 hours normally
What a start: spanish border control "bonjour and merci" 🙂
I know 😂😂😂😂😂
I was wondering about that. Not sure about the pronunciation of Jaca either.

Definately on my bucket list, thanks for sharing
You won't be disappointed. Thanks for watching. Cheers. Billy
I rode the Pyrenees on a Norton Commando back in 1980. On the ferry - Weymouth to Cherbourg before the ride down - mine was the only bike.
Its a wonderful place and you were enjoying it way before me. Nice one! Cheers Billy

What a first day. Looking forward to part 2 🙂
I agree re the top boxes, so handy, but I prefer soft luggage on my Tuareg

@@BillysBikeAdventures I had hard cases on my previous Moto Guzzi V85TT and loved them, so useful during c19 for "shopping" trips on the bike

What time of the year was this filmed at? I'm going in a month and I'm trying to decide what helmet to take
Hey mate. This.was end of May last year. Your trip in Sept is much warmer and very unlikely to encounter snow. Have a great trip. Cheers. Billy
Why did you say Bonjour to the Spanish border guard?😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂 I know, what a muppet I am 😂😂😂😂
😂😂 It's Buenos dias. And Mucho gracias 😂😂😂
I think for a guided tour you will need to do less motorway/main roads & concentrate on the twistier ones 😁😁😁

Why were you speaking French to the customs?
Ha ha, forgot which country I had just docked in lol

A bit disappointed that all the nice places aren't mentioned by name during the ride.
