    Hey Tor this vid was your best work yet man ... great stuff not just the action and the beauty rockets but your cinematography and your editing had great flow on this one ... everything seemed like a real step up from your already good vids ... loved your dejection after the breakoffs and the enthusiasm once you made good on that slab ... i love when real river emotions are displayed and kept in the films it makes the story of the episode feel more real and gives it flow so it is not just mindless fish porn ... I try to keep those moments in my films as much as possible as well ... sensational work !! congrats from your fellow Cow Town based fly fishing content provider The New Wave Angler ... keep m coming. Ps - been subscribed from my personal account for a couple years now just subbed from this my NWA channel today Cheers Brah !!!

    I knew I recognized that doggo and that beautiful mustache the other day. You and your buddy met me down on the Highwood the other day in the morning. Are we going to see a video from that day? Great video by the way, I wish I was better at fishing the Bow River! Keep up the good work!

    I was out the same weekend, floated legacy to carsleland. My hoppers were ignored, but got action on adult caddis.

    what s your go to hopper dropper set up for the bow i usually see you around douglasdale

    • @Torinfnp
      @Torinfnp  3 роки тому

      Big foam hoppers, easy to see and hold up in the fast water. Then about 3ft to a size 12-16 bead head nymph. Whatever I can find under rocks. I'm thinking this vids nymph was a caddis pupae.

    Great video, good fishes in the net. If you solo down to Mac, do you take a cab back to police? Never done a solo float before and looking to get some info.

      @@jaedukoh673 Haha better start swiping my friend ;) Ya you definable need a ride, but the float from Glenmore to Fish Creek or Police is much easier to access by vehicle.

    Awesome video man! I'm curious on your setup on this vid, did you use a strike indicator after your hopper fly? Oh, and are using barbless hooks?

    • @Torinfnp
      @Torinfnp  4 роки тому +1

      Jan Lendl Peralta thanks man 🙏🏼 in the video I have a couple rods set up differently. One I was using to nymph under and indicator, and the second I had a big foam hopper on a 9 foot 3x leader and then added a little caddis nymph about 2 feet below the hopper.

    • @janlendlperalta5017
      @janlendlperalta5017 4 роки тому

      @@Torinfnp ah! Yeah the one with the caddis and hopper so no indicator after? And no split shot too right? I'm still on my 3rd week fly fishing so I'm still learning the different setups unlike using spinning rod you just toss a lure and thats iy. :)

    Sick float! What mat was your dog on? Was to shield the boat from the dog’s paws? Does it work well?

    • @Torinfnp
      @Torinfnp  4 роки тому

      Thanks! It's actually the Pack that's used to hold the boat when packed up. I kind use it as a shield yes. Works well, no issues.
