I have met people from Omagh. I know one girl who was 6 at the time of the bomb. She was only a few yards away from being blown apart. May all terrorism stop. No matter what the wrongs and injustices have been, these things are always terrible. Let us build a future where we all love one another

My mum, aunt and brother died in the bomb and my dad lost both his legs. I don't think I can ever bring myself to watch this.

Do you not see how this pertains to the papacy, with its religious pharisee's and their long robes, long prayers and thirst for power.
This looks beautiful. Just because I want to see a whole Ireland doesn't mean that this wasn't the most horrific tragedy to happen. Northern Ireland had already voted, and the Good Friday Agreement had already happened. There was no reason, AT ALL, for Omagh to happen. None!
Besides, Ireland will be whole to one degree or another, if for no other reason then convenience. Hospitals that are closer, schools that might have a better curriculum, cross border police work, etc...

Exactly, we understand that they are our "enemies" and persecuters of the gospel, just as is the Roman imperial power. But... we are to have MERCY on them and understand that they are BLESSED FOR THE FATHERS SAKE. We are to be in HORROR when we look upon the conditions and low morality of the "jew" knowing that God will do the same to us if we stray from him.
Lots of Americans care about Ireland because they have Irish relatives and / or Irish ancestry. My great granduncle was a member of the IRA and was killed by the British. So we do have a right to care.
you can argue all day but at da end of the day 29 innocent people lost there lives it should never have happened. support the families of those killed in omagh to get justice i know if it was 1 of my family members i would never rest til i knew who ever done this was behind bars.

There are many other forms of terrorism. Omagh was abslutely terrible but what loyalist thugs and the British had been doing in the north since the late 60s is largely forgotten by those who would benefit from forgetting them. Look at Bobby Sands, he was burnt out of his home when he was a young child, his father lost his job for being catholic, Bobby had to leave his apprentiship for being intimidated.

thing to remember is this is a film to entertain, so bits are always going to be distorted for a more dramatic picture. The inident did happen and I'm sure a lot of the rest may have some basis in fact, but things are always given a different spin depending on the source. Fiction films or even factual books/ documentaries all reflect the prejudice of the writer/director. Nothing is ever truely impartial
