People can say what they want, when they want and how they want to, but in my mind let's just cut straight to the chase! Georgia Tech showed tonight just how legit they are and how legit this championship is because in all honesty they beat the ACC's best team to take the crown, so they don't hafta explain themselves or anything to anyone! I'm a die-hard Duke backer but in this crazy sports world and with absolutely no expectations this season, the coaching job Josh Pastner did with this group was remarkable and should earn him some National Coach of the Year votes! Much congratulations to Georgia Tech! Well earned! Extra kudos to Alvarado! He stayed the course - the hard work and dedication finally and deservedly paid off for him!

Who would have thought that both GT and Georgetown would win their conference tournaments tonight. The madness is real!!!!
Georgetown didn't just win it! They mauled Creighton like the Blue Jays didn't even belong! What an incredible performance by Ewing's troops! A 10-12 overall record and then they proceed to knock off Seton Hall, plus the conferences' top two seeds in a three day span! No words needed! It's why we call it March Madness! Patrick got more out of his kids through all the turmoil they've been through (guys bailing on the program plus the COVID-19 mess) than he probably could ever have imagined! Their focus could have crumbled but this weekend showed how they've kept together! Kudos to both the Hoyas and Jackets! When u put in the max effort, the results are achieved! Pastner should in my mind be National Coach of the Year

@@johnmitchell1640 James Forrest was the MVP of that ACC tournament, carried the Jackets on his back thru Duke, Clemson and then the Tar Holes! That was the best three game stretch he had in his Tech career! A solid college player, but the '93 ACC tournament was by far his peak performance

Call me a salty Tar Heels fans but after the amount of bs Florida state got against us it’s only right they lose.
Not only that but the second half of the season FSU never quite looked like the best team in the ACC that to me they were! Their arrogance overtook their focus, which is very uncharacteristic of a Leonard Hamilton coached team! Despite that and blown leads, talent-wise they were the best team Georgia Tech could have beaten to earn this! The Jackets don't hafta prove themselves to anyone after what they showed tonight! They are gonna be a tough NCAA tournament out no matter who's put up against them! Alvarado is a seasoned vet and Moses Wright isn't the ACC Player of the Year for nothing! His game is complete and he is a load of a matchup problem

and to think duke lost in overtime to this georgia tech team just a few days ago, i think duke would have beaten this georgia tech team on a neutral court and won the acc tournament, the ncaa tournament winner will probably be the team that doesnt have anyone get the virus
