The Rambling Wreck from Georgia Tech! The 🐝’s took down my Dukies earlier this season in ACC league play, then at Cameron Indoor Stadium, they still gave us everything we could possibly handle! It wasn’t a surprise to me whatsoever that they beat UNC last night. They are better than advertised, trust me! Of course, Duke and UNC missing a lot of free throws and turning the Rock over helped them out tremendously

I was at the game sitting pretty close when that happened. It did not look like a foul to me, and I’m a NC fan.

Don't blame the refs. Both GT and UNC have the same number of free throws. The problem was UNC only made 50% of them.

Lifetime Duke fan here, and even I saw that un-called foul on the final UNC shot, crappy way to lose. I am fearful that this loss is going to make the Heels play even harder and better than they would have otherwise come our showdown on Saturday, might be a long day for the Devils. Talk about a great day for hoops watching, Saturday will feature 3 games with top 10 teams facing off, I'm psyched!

great effort by Georgia Tech but lets be honest here, that was a clear foul at the end against Davis. i guess the ref wanted to cater to the home crowd, hence the no call. i dont know.

@@tbglover That last no-call foul on RJ Davis was about as obvious as it gets, and that happened right in front of Ted. Teddy lit up Carolina, I bet he called 11 of their 16 fouls. I know for fact he called all 5 against Cadeau within the span of 10 minutes.

Last no-call foul on RJ Davis was pretty bad though, even the ESPN announcer called it out (and he hates UNC) as Ted Valentine just trotted by smiling (it was his call to make).

Look UNC did not play that well and missed way 2 many free throws but also RJ Davis got fouled on that last play it was obvious the announcer saw it GT didn’t storm the court bec they thought it was called a foul. With how Davis shoots free throws it’s almost guaranteed we are at least tied or not have won.

Unc missed half their free throws, GT hit almost all of theirs. I don't want the refs to gift a team that shot worst a chance to win on the line on a missed shot on a borderline call.
Its obvious the refs gave this game to Georgia Tech. Georgia Tech did play out of their minds but they got a lot of calls and no calls in the game. Georgia Tech won't be going to the tournament and will probably suck in their next game but they got one tonight.
Tech got called for more fouls in the game, same number of free throws. UNC just didn't make their free throws and had an off shooting night.
@@benjaminlloyd2291 Tech should have been called for more fouls. George was pushing off with his off hand when driving to the basket and wasn't getting called for it. Tech players were jumping into UNC players and getting the foul called but at the end of the game the refs chose not to call the foul yet they've been calling it all game. Again, Tech had the game of their life which will be the highlight of their season.
@@pi3838 They also beat Duke and Clemson under a first year head coach and two freshmen starters. They might be building something, we'll see in the next few years. They were a power back in the day.

basically not having cadeau in the second killed us tonight. offense was way too stagnant. i don’t know what the issue that they had with him was, but it seemed like the refs made some sort of example out of EC? i can live with the no call at the end if EC wasn’t called for all those ticky tack fouls, it crippled our offense. inconsistency is the only constant in ACC officiating.
